341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who uses myetherwallet? on: April 16, 2018, 05:01:25 PM
I use it. Its one of the most used wallets by the Ethereum community. The only down side it has is its a web wallet. Other than that its one of the most secure and easy to use wallet. You can also try the official mist wallet as it comes with light sync due to which you wont have to download the whole blockchain.
342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe to participate in ICO's? on: April 16, 2018, 04:06:54 PM
Safe is a word that I don't think would go along with ICO. ICOs are like the riskiest of them all. With most of them failing and the current ones barely surviving I don't think ICO is a safe bet. If you have the will to forget about your investment after buying into an ICO only than should you invest.
343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin under 1$ to invest in now? on: April 16, 2018, 03:59:23 PM
You got it right in investing in coins with good basic fundamentals but where you are going wrong is looking to invest in coins based on their price. Its not the price that you should be looking at but the market cap, as how much a coin has the potential to grow depends on the size of its market cap.
344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethreum the new king of crypto? on: April 16, 2018, 09:41:47 AM
I think we need to wait till POS, plasma and sharding are implemented before trying to make comments on Ethereum taking the lead. These are all important developments and if they become successfully implemented than I think that Ethereum will be ready to take the lead. Also the prices of altcoins need to decouple from that of bitcoin.
345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best ICOs at moment? on: April 16, 2018, 09:20:48 AM
Till there is some regulation brought into the ICO markets I wouldn't recommend investing your hard earned money into ICOs. With most of the ICOs failing you are better off just investing your money into already established coins as theres no such thing as the best ICOs, all are the same and finding that one ICO thats going to work isn't going to be easy.
346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can ETH price increase to 1k3$ again ? on: April 15, 2018, 06:07:40 PM
Am not sure about this year but it sure is going way above $3k within two years. As there is nothing but great news lined up for the next two years for the Ethereum project and with plasma, pos and sharding coming I don't think any other coin has this much development news coming up for it.
347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How did you choose ICO to invest? on: April 15, 2018, 09:29:52 AM
Take my advice as a guide to verifying any ICO:
1. On preico, the team must have a contract for automatic transfer of funds with prescribed conditions for early investors - not handles like many do, namely those prescribed in a smart contract - otherwise the collected funds can simply enrich the funders or conditions will change during the play - cases of lots.
2. The contract for preICO should be part of a large ICO contract - not different coins - it is not safe in terms of vulnerabilities and withdrawals.
3. The contract for preICO and then the ICO should be registered lower and upper barrier - if this is not the team does not know what it wants - just a scam.
4. The contract for ICO should be escrow of the funds received as a result of placement - it can be a frieze or multisec with a voting condition. This will give you a guarantee against the expenditure of funds earlier than the team completed the previous stage.
5. In the contract, an unconditional refund should be prescribed in the event that the lower limit of the collected pool is not reached. It is in the contract and not in the white book, if it is not - scum.
6. All contracts must be posted on GithHub, this will enable third-party developers to check the contract for the vulnerability if the team has not taken care and before the ICO has not posted a bounty on the vulnerability.
7. The contract must specify the conditions for the team and for the bounty.
8. The contract must specify the conditions for not traded tokens - with clearly defined deadlines.
Damn, thats a huge list but seriously no amount of check points will prevent you from losing your investment in ICOs with the current failure rates. Only a handful of ICOs have succeeded that launched last year and the rest have already failed or exit scammed. Currently ICO is a very risky investment and one should try avoiding it.
348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When do you believe the growth period for alt coins will start again? on: April 06, 2018, 06:39:56 AM
Its very unpredictable when this will happen. But as soon as the market recovers, the alt coins will gradually regain their feet in the market too, so so soon as we are in the red zone, the alts will recover too
349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this good time to invest in ICOs. on: April 06, 2018, 06:37:02 AM

350  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should continue join ico? on: April 06, 2018, 06:30:47 AM
There is no harm in Joining an ICO at all, you however have to very cautious on what ICO you join as some are scams all over that will defroud you of your investment
351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: hold or sell? help me on: April 06, 2018, 06:27:36 AM
The market situation dictates that you hold, there is no point selling at this time as the market is struggling and the prices are extremely low, so hold longer for a chance to increase value
352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Smart Contracts can change the world of business on: April 06, 2018, 06:23:59 AM
Smart contracts indeed contributes to the evolution of the business world. Not only does it speeds up the process of verification, but it also reduce the cost. Businesses of company will be better once they adopt to the advancement of technology. I know one company in the Philippines that is currently taking considerations of blockchain. I will not mention the company name but it is a company that provides one of the basic needs of human. It might takes years before adaptation but hopefully it will be soon!

This is the accurate definition of the purpose of the smart contract, with it business transactions are easy, rapid and very clear

354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Good time to buy ETH now? on: April 06, 2018, 06:15:51 AM

Yes its a good time to buy ETH, its a good coin with huge potential growth and value, and it will continue to grow overtime, its currently cheaply available due to the Red zone. its the best time to buy
355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: hold or sell? help me on: April 05, 2018, 09:10:30 PM

The best thing to do currently is to hold your coins, if you sell them, you will be letting go cheaply and may probably run into losses. how about you wait a little longer, you never know what will happen
