61  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Future of bitcoin in Nigeria on: September 05, 2018, 04:15:47 PM
We all know that Nigeria is a big country with a lot of population, but that won't change the way bitcoin works, but it's good to increase the number of adoptions on Bitcoin, so I don't understand why there are so many people are worried about this.
62  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much damaged bitcoin has brought you? on: September 05, 2018, 04:08:52 PM
I had a small scale investment on bitcoin and i invested on it when the market price is 30% higher. I never thought that market is going to fall down which results to the loss of some of my money if i will sell my bitcoin holdings now. Seeing the market price i consider it as a damage which is 30%. Well if i may ask you do you feel any damage right now? I wanna know who are those people who are investing prior to the market price fall down?
I also suffered a loss just like you, the fall of the Crypto market brought great damage to my investment but the fact that I did not focus on that and I would never consider it a damage because in some ways I only saw the brighter side of it, this was the season of gathering more coins, where it can be very valuable in the future.
63  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is cryptocurrency so difficult to understand on: September 05, 2018, 03:59:25 PM
I engaged with young people and layman people in my communities on the quest of exposing them to cryptocurrency. During the period I discovered that they find It so difficult to understand the concepts, they are so much acquainted with fiat currency and traditional ways of making payment transactions.
I will be impress If I can get a valuable ways and methods in making them understand what cryptocurrency is all about and engage them actively.
The crypto currency was very popular at the end of last year, but not everyone understands what cryptocurrency is and how it works. crypto is still a minority in the banking world. so you have to avoid debating with them, it will only waste your time, there is no specific method to deal with them unless you give them real proof so they come with high curiosity to you, and ask personally what is crypto and how to join?
64  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Awareness is the biggest influence. on: September 05, 2018, 03:47:16 PM
Awareness can have a big influence on the growth of Bitcoin. although I realize that Bitcoin is still a minority in the banking world and people involved in cryptocurrency are still a small part of the world's total population, but I believe that time will only tell the crypto world to run its path and be known for slowly becoming mainstream.
65  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin End Goal on: September 04, 2018, 05:00:55 PM
My final goal is I just want to get enough money to make my little family happy now and have enough money to enjoy my old age with my offspring. So, I'm happy enough. if I make enough money to achieve this rather simple goal.
66  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why you should stay off from market prediction on: September 04, 2018, 04:54:37 PM
There is nothing wrong if you will begin to believe the prediction, what you need to do is have a prediction about where the market is going. Because they are here to stay, there are many who believe the prediction about the crypto market, especially if it comes from popular people who make wealth through this investment, but still you have to filter it all because ultimately you decide the next step, not always the prediction is right , sometimes their predictions miss. be wiser in responding to a prediction!
67  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is best wallet for long term bitcoin holding? on: September 04, 2018, 04:44:24 PM
If you still don't trust the wallet provided by the local service provider in your country, you can store it in a hard wallet so it is safer. I personally only use wallets provided by local service providers here in my country, I will only hold them on my account, I think they are safe, depending on how you maintain your private keys.
68  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the world ready for cryptocurrency? on: September 04, 2018, 04:34:39 PM
Although there are a few countries who uses bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies now, I cannot help but wonder if the world is truly ready for this digital currency? It will certainly be hard to replace all currencies in the world but it could happen in a decade or so, perhaps even less? Still the question is, is the world ready? I think if this happens it might be one of the biggest changes that will happen worldwide.
I think the world is still not ready for this big change, Bitcoin is still a minority in the banking world, and it still takes a lot of time to socialize this technology to all levels of the world community. at this time Bitcoin has not reached the bottom layer, Bitcoin is only known among business people and people who know technology, there are still many people who only know Bitcoin is only a name, without knowing the function and how to use it.
69  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who sells BTC now? on: September 04, 2018, 04:22:32 PM
I have seen many threads talking about should I sell now or wait till BTC moons. When I see these threads I marvel and move on to check on different topics or threads because I know the person doesn't know what he is talking about. Diving more into cryptocurrencies, when you sell now it means you are a coward and don't even know the kind of cryptocurrency you are dealing with. One thing is that, its really kinda pity to see those topics raised. I have set a goal and until that goal is not, I will never sell BTC and that's me.I want ask that is it because those selling the coin are newbies and are afraid of loosing some small $s or they haven't read much about bitcoin or the cryptocurrencies or they have low knowledge about the blockchain technology?
I know the benefits potential of Bitcoin and I believe Bitcoin can go through this difficult phase, but not everyone can maintain Bitcoin until the target is set like you, because some people really run out of savings to wait for Bitcoin to rise like last year, some people are forced to sell Bitcoin to meet the needs of life, like me who was forced to sell Bitcoin to invest in several ICO projects, because I was completely exhausted capital to make faster profits.
70  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as the leading way... on: September 03, 2018, 08:02:02 PM

Just amazed about the situation of bitcoin nowadays, despite of the decreasing price of cryptocurrencies still more countries are now ready to adopt bitcoin.  As if, it seems that bitcoin leading the way of the world into blockchain, trading and selling cryptocurrencies. Could it be really possibly eliminate the middlemen? Please share your opinions.
I am sure there are many people and governments now aware of the benefits of Bitcoin and I think that is the true goal of the bitcoin system is to try to give people a way of life that is much easier and more comfortable. Bitcoin can provide many benefits and opportunities to people so that we can all provide many opportunities that can have a much better life and escape from a bad life. When that happens surely there will be no intermediaries anymore.
71  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why government announce bitcoin is illegal? on: September 03, 2018, 07:37:58 PM
We know Bitcoin is one of the powerful and top coin in marketplace.
But world wide all county are announced its illegal.
I personally think that bitcoin is very help us for paying any payment.
Its has many facility.
But our government are announced its illegal
Everyone has the right to judge Bitcoin, including considering it illegal, because I think they don't use Bitcoin as currency or assets but they only hear news from wrong sources, it's true there are some cases that use Bitcoin as a tool for money laundering or illegal transactions, and I think it's only a small part, many of the benefits that Bitcoin produces include being a new livelihood, and helping reduce unemployment.
72  Economy / Speculation / Re: SELL EVERYTHING!!! on: September 02, 2018, 05:32:51 PM
Why do you have to sell everything? have you no confidence in cryptocurancy, or are you cutting losses? if you sell everything you have can make you lose more money. I think it's better to hold it for a while until the price is high so you can make a profit and get your loss back. We must know that bitcoin does not always go up, sometimes it comes down which is why bitcoin is easy to change, so you have to be patient to succeed in trade and investment.
73  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much the power of news can affect the Bitcoin price? on: September 02, 2018, 04:56:41 PM
News will not affect the price of Bitcoin at all but the news will affect investor confidence in buying or selling, because the price of Bitcoin is determined by market demand. lack of knowledge about bitcoin, so people are easily deceived by news that spreads on social media and it affects their decision making because of the courage given by the news.
74  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Security on: September 02, 2018, 04:42:43 PM
Hi All

What do you use for your bitcoin security, I have been looking into usb style password protectors, but don't know enough about them as to the trust that I should place in them.

Has anyone bought them and would you recommend them?

Many thanks

Airdrop291
A wallet that has a USB size will definitely be vulnerable to being lost or you can misplace it, so you have to be really careful about it. I only use an online wallet for my BTC, I really think it's safe enough. but if you really want to be safer, you have to use an expensive wallet that is completely off line so you can be sure that it will be safe against hackers.
75  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stay safe on: September 01, 2018, 05:37:00 AM
all we can do is set up an two factor authenticator  and other security purpose things dont bother for a little hard to log in that is for your own safety.
I think this tip is very useful for securing your wallet and account. 2FA Authenticator is one of the best security to use in your account so that someone cannot open your account easily. Hackers have a lot of tactics just to make your wallet and identity, but we can avoid them if we can do it right about how to maintain the security of our wallet and account.
76  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Negotiation with government on: September 01, 2018, 05:29:03 AM
What if people convince governments of their nations to make Bitcoin as a legal currency or what if we agree to give tax on our bitcoin income? Will government then make Bitcoin a legal currency.
We don't need to negotiate with the government because they also have experts who are thinking about how to regulate cryptocurancy, because they already realize the importance of digital currency and the increasingly large crypto community, the government will come and realize how good cryptocurrency is. in the future they will definitely make bitcoin a legitimate transaction tool, but the process of going to it will take a long time.
77  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do whales really control the market, or is that a myth on: September 01, 2018, 05:16:32 AM
Is there any evidence that these mysterious 'whales' really control the bitcoin market, or is this a myth generated as people try to understand why bitcoin prices go up and down?
To show evidence is very difficult, but they are very neat in manipulating prices in the crypto market, they lower the price and spread the news about FUDS with the aim of creating panic among investors so that investors make panic sales, after the price drops down due to the large number of sales then the whale returned to buy it at a cheap price to sell at an expensive price.
78  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is worth more use of gold? on: September 01, 2018, 05:03:14 AM
The fact that bitcoin is far more risky than gold because it has the greatest chance that its value will be discarded so many times when gold is still in the same value and rises more in the coming days. However, there are facts and beliefs that bitcoin is far more valuable than gold because it really has the ability to provide more benefits and opportunities to people especially when it comes to financial aspects. so they have advantages and disadvantages of each.
79  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will survive enemies it has created ?? on: September 01, 2018, 04:48:18 AM
Bitcoin is trying to eliminate US Dollar, Euro (world currencies), banks, gold, silver, anti-government, debit cards and credit cards, anti-tax

How will Bitcoin survive the many enemies it has created by declaring itself a revolution in payment system and decentralization??
I would consider btc as an option for people when making their transactions, rather than as an enemy of US dollars, banks, gold, silver, debit / credit cards and so on, because Bitcoin also requires a benchmark value of a country's currency. in the future people will be offered 2 choices of transactions, with digital currency or using fiat.
80  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 3000 Bitcoins ATM worldwide !!!! on: August 29, 2018, 04:43:23 PM
An increase in the number of ATM bitcoins shows that the existence of cryptocurrency is getting stronger. in my country there is also a Bitcoin ATM but the distance is very far from where I live, so I don't know what is the advantage of buying bitcoin at an ATM rather than through an exchanger?
