81  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Breaks $7,000 After 4% Gain, Crypto Market Adds $12 Billion on: August 29, 2018, 03:44:30 PM
I think this is general news and we have often heard it, because we have all been waiting for the return of the bull to return the loss after the market falls. This is just a small pump in the price of Bitcoin and for me, we are still in the bear market. There are no signs of a trend reversal. I see no sign that we will enter the bull market.
82  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I bought bitcoin at $20k last year on: August 29, 2018, 10:11:03 AM
I got into the bitcoin again last year after losing all my 4.5 bitcoins to ponzi schemes early last year. I bought in bitcoin again at $20k. Now bitcoin is $6k+.  I'm regretting my actions.  Huh

Sorry to say but I don't know what kind of fool you are dude.after losing 4.5 bitcoin in ponzi still you didn't learn how to value your hard earned money?and for what i am thinking you have lots of time to buy since you have lost early last year ,why needed to be on the highest value bitcoin ever has?theres a time when you can purchase in October or in January
It is very humane if you feel sorry, but it's all because of your carelessness, I think you are too hasty to invest, you don't analyze it first so you experience a lot of losses, my advice is to do the purchase of Bitcoin now, because this coin will probably go up, but all decisions remain in your hands.
83  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 99% of questions and answers are the same on: August 28, 2018, 12:06:32 PM
So, reading the first 2 pages of topics on this forum I have noticed that every single question is either:
- Will Bitcoin be the most amazing thing ever?
- Will bitcoin crash and burn?

Almost every answer is exactly the same:
- It will be amazing because "I believe", "I have faith" etc etc
- It will crash and burn because it has no value/too volatile/the secret world society will not let it be mainstream, whatever...
- No-one knows but I will write a ton of words which say that.

Whether Bitcoin ends up rising in value, replacing global financial systems, crashing etc etc the answer is nothing more than NO ONE KNOWS....
Your "faith" "belief" etc in it is irrelevant, unless you can manipulate the price, news, etc you have no influence over its success.

All you are doing is taking a gamble/speculating.... you may get lucky or not.... just make sure it is money that won't ruin your life if it all goes away.

I bought some bitcoin because I am greedy and want it to go up in price so I can sell to someone else for more money.
Is it the best investment.... of course not....
But is it fun, hell yes!

Trading it can be fun, like going to a casino where you think you know how the cards are stacked.....

There are many people in this forum, so many people have the same thoughts in the post. Maybe they are similar in ideas, but their writing style is different, cannot be the same, all members of the forum aim to contribute their Bitcoin knowledge to the forum, helping people who have problems or have problems with Bitcoin.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are old coins no more profitable on: August 28, 2018, 11:52:59 AM
It all depends on you reading the market situation. To get more profits from investing in old coins, coins will rise if the community is still large but now the community is starting to decline and nonprofits are not as good as the coins.
85  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bill Cosby buys 750 BTC on: August 28, 2018, 10:47:40 AM
Reportedly Hollywood actor Bill Cosby has recently bought 750 BTC (around 5 $million at the time of the purchase) when he was advised to do so by his financial advisor, in an attempt to save some of his wealth from what's coming to him after all the rape accusations.

Im not sure if he is a rapist or not because I haven't looked at the evidence, but like or not, this is a clear use case of Bitcoin. His net worth is like half a billion USD, so I guess this is like a plan Z to keep 5 million which would be enough to live without working in case things go very bad for him.

I found this interesting nonetheless and worth mentioning here. Full news:

https://bitcoinexchangeguide.com/bill-cosby-buys-750-bitcoin-btc-worth-5-million-to-save-500m-fortune-from-wife/
In my opinion, the decision made by Cosby is very appropriate, because he takes anticipation from his career which is exposed to legal problems, because usually cases like this can reduce the popularity of celebrities, and smart financial advisors by proposing Bitcoin as an investment from his client. brilliant idea when cosby must face trial.
86  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ~BTC in Medical Industry on: August 27, 2018, 04:52:40 PM
Is it possible someday that Medical Hospitals accept BTC as a payment for Hospital bills and other fees??
Of course there is the possibility of the health sector accepting Bitcoin, but the first to do it is definitely a private hospital, because they are not tied to the government. if the health sector can accept Bitcoin as a payment method, many other industries will accept Bitcoin. I think the government must legalize Bitcoin so this will happen immediately and we can pay without using cash.
87  Economy / Speculation / Re: Market stabilizes. on: August 27, 2018, 04:30:38 PM
Until now after a huge market price fall down crypto market was exhausted after some market price corrections. And i do believe really on bitcoin seeing market price remains at 6K USD per BTC even if some altcoin had drop to almost 50% of its market price from before compared to the current market price. Market price slowly increasing yet it is still not could compromise the huge fall down on crypto market.
It can't be a reference for us to believe that Bitcoin will be above $ 6k, it is likely that the value of Bitcoin will drop from $ 6k and maybe it will go up already no one knows exactly but in the long run its existence is certain that it doesn't matter how much sadness there will be a pump that will come so that means saying Bitcoin will always recover and make a better movement and for now all we need to do is stay patient and continue to believe in its ability to provide more opportunities and benefits for us.
88  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Fiat on: August 27, 2018, 08:42:58 AM
Although Bitcoin exists for almost 10 years, its role in our life is still unclear. One of the theories states that Bitcoin was created to solve the problems which fiat money cannot overcome. We can see how so many Governments have huge debts and how some countries cannot support their own currency (Venezuela might be the best example now), so Bitcoin looks like a possible option nowadays. Getting rich was never the goal for Bitcoin. It was meant to become the currency of the digital world and provide an alternative to the dying economy.

So the question is, how do you think, should Bitcoin replace Fiat money, or there are other options of how it could be useful to the society?

Edit: To give you more food for thought, there is a nice article about the history of the creation of both Fiat and Bitcoin and their detailed comparison.
Accepting crypto currency as a global currency at this time is still not possible, because this technology must be supported by sophisticated equipment and support from the internet, this is difficult because not all regions have sophisticated equipment and support from the internet. but there are other possibilities in the future, if crypto becomes pepolor in the future, it means that each country will have its own crypto currency. this is the most logical reason.
89  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin uses too much energy? on: August 27, 2018, 08:20:39 AM
No matter how much energy is used for Bitcoin miners, the electricity bill will still be paid by the miners to the state, and there is nothing wrong with this. this news is really exaggerated by some people, because if compared to factories, Bitcoin mining is not comparable, factories use more energy but people never realize that, I think some people want to make Bitcoin look bad.
90  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Most Crypto investors are Cowards on: August 27, 2018, 07:43:40 AM
The answer is just simple, we all are cowards  Smiley. Everyone will like to wake up one day and find out that Btc has reached 50,000. All these people are scared to invest hugely in bitcoin but want to become  Crypto millionaire and Billionaire. You ask them why they are scared and they are like crypto is volatile and so on. This is the time to set the record straight make people realize what they are into. If you are scared then there is no need for you to join this amazing fraternity Smiley.
Yes, they must get up from their dreams and realize that investment is not always profitable, but there are risks that must be faced, Bitcoin is a very popular investment for now because it has a large profit and a short time but also has a high risk, if you just want to get profit without losing it means you are dreaming ... get up soon!
91  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You want the bear market to stop? Here are some things you can do :) on: August 23, 2018, 04:19:41 AM
I think holding on for a long time won't help bitcoin get out of the bear market, because Bitcoin requires high demand to achieve maximum value, one of the contributions that the Bitcoin community can make is to try to use bitcoin as much as we can by making payments in bitcoin or by getting salary and other income on bitcoin. In this way, the price of bitcoin won't depend much on the trading market because it will have the back support of people who use it as a currency.
92  Other / Off-topic / Re: crypto in the present moment? on: August 23, 2018, 03:42:37 AM
hello guy!
I find that near people are always worried and afraid of the future of crypto, when we invest in the crypto market, we also know the market will fluctuate up and down and its risk, I think it is Often, most of us are going to HODL and buy more when they think it's touching bottom, there are some people selling them, I think that's the decision of you and no what wrong. WHY EVERYONE DOES NOT PATIENT AND BELIEVE IN YOURSELF IN YOUR DECISION? This is what is happening now because there is NO reason for this sudden drop in the price? Hold onto those coins as long as you can, because these greedy bastards will manipulate the markets to cause chaos and panic and wait for the green boom to return.
I agree with you, that we must believe in our own abilities, sometimes what others suggest is not necessarily good for you, I personally at the time of this decline, I hold my assets partly and partly I invest in several ICO projects that valid, so that I can make a quick profit, because I realize that I am not like other people who have a lot of savings, I have to keep earning income so that my daily needs are met.
93  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has 54% of the cryptocurrency market on: August 23, 2018, 03:04:43 AM
For those of you that think that Bitcoin is going down this article proves that it's still the strongest in the cryptocurrency world. Not since December 2017 has Bitcoin been such a dominant part of cryptocurrency.

Full article here: https://bitcoinist.com/cryptocurrency-market-54-bitcoin/
So bitcoin is a safe place for now, because usually most investors keep their assets in Bitcoin, while the money invested in altcoin is only a small part. and this is a normal development that Bitcoin is getting stronger in the sustainable bear market. actually this is good news for cryptocurancy not only for Bitcoin, because usually if Bitcoin rises, altcoin will follow it.
94  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is your Bitcoin total ownership goal? on: August 20, 2018, 08:57:48 AM
So, at one stage in your life, you should set some goals for something that you want to achieve in the future. The same is applicable to Bitcoin and you should set some realistic goals for yourself.

I know a lot of people are aiming for 21 coins <as their first goal, because there are 21 million coins in total>  Roll Eyes

Would you stop after you reached your goal or would you set new goals after that? When will you stop collecting and hoarding your coins or are we all a bunch of Scrooge McDucks?

Let's see how many people have decided on specific, realistic goals and how many people are just collecting coins without goals.

My precious..  Roll Eyes

My goal is to have 1 bitcoin after 6 months. It's important to set realistic goals and break your main goal into smaller goals that are easier to achieve.I don't know how somebody could gather 20 or 50 bitcoins(unless he is a crypto hacker, online crypto casino owner or some exit scam ICO dev/owner).
There was no target in my performance at cryptocurancy, I continued to observe and invest long-term, crypto daily trading, even investing in many legitimate ICOs that I had lived. and proven that makes my Bitcoin increase. I will maximize every opportunity that exists, and brake if it's dangerous to follow.
Do not think negatively of people who have a lot of Bitcoin, because not all of them are produced in a dirty way as you mentioned. everything may depend on the effort and luck that each individual has.
95  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Low prices and bad comments are taking the confidence of the Newbies? on: August 20, 2018, 08:44:33 AM
When the price drops, there are many bad comments coming from different directions. The Newbies are most affected by this. Because if someone wants to invest, they are lagging behind for those bad comments and they are afraid also. Is this reason their Confidence Level is not low?

I think we should stop our bad comment about Bitcoin. We will also benefit from this.     Sad
Bad comments about Bitcoin cannot be prevented, because that is their right, and the reason they always attack Bitcoin is the failure of some people in investing in Bitcoin, that's why it is often discussed in this Forum, if before investing it is better to do a thorough analysis, learn all about Bitcoin and crypto in order to minimize losses.
96  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitPico throwing down against Roger Ver on: August 20, 2018, 08:28:19 AM
So they created a core support team that wants to produce altcoins that have satoshi genesis blocks and hundreds of thousands of blocks of tx data, such as copper, bitcoin zinc, bitcoin nickel, bitcoin tin. aluminum bitcoin. but I better ignore it. There is only one bitcoin. Roger Ver tries his best to sabotage the bitcoin.com site and talk about bitcoin OG all day.
97  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has stabilized? on: August 14, 2018, 05:25:25 PM
Will bitcoin attract many investors if the price is stable? Until now, I don't know what price Bitcoin is called stable, because I only buy at a price that I think is cheap and keep it for sale at a higher price. I am happy with market fluctuations because there are so many profit opportunities that I can get.
98  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think that other coins move faster? on: August 14, 2018, 05:16:50 PM
Do you think that Bitcoin has become too slow to compete with the relatively quick alt coins out there? Is it realty competitive to have a slow community rather than a centralised decision making in development?

In other words, does the community effect of decentralisation enough to counterbalance the difficult decision making processes?

When there is more supply for new altcoins, the price of coins tends to rise very fast. Another variable that can make coins move faster than Bitcoin is their market capitalization, coins with lower ratings can have room to grow because of low market capitalization. Lower market capitalization with public interest is likely to move much faster than Bitcoin.
99  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you still holding when market price falls abnormally? on: August 14, 2018, 05:09:02 PM
I like to know your stand against the current market price falls down that relatively almost in the danger zone for the crypto holders if they still hold their crypto it might be one day that they will going to lose all their money. My ideals is different i had to sell it though it means that i had to lose some of my money. Anyway i could invest again when market price recovers but not for now seeing crypto market looks so bad. Will you still hold?
If you want to give up, just let go of the investment that you have been holding, maybe it can make you better, I still believe in crypto and I will keep holding my bitcoin until the price stabilizes and when I am satisfied with the price. I am still waiting for certainty from the ETF news that it will be approved and the price will definitely rise again, patiently this is not an investment bubble.
100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: INTERNET = BITCOIN? on: August 13, 2018, 08:41:40 AM
I think Bitcoin is not the Internet, but Bitcoin is run with the help of the internet. so they are not the same, but Bitcoin is very dependent on the existence of the internet as a major supporter of Bitcoin. if the internet doesn't exist I'm not sure Bitcoin can grow as it is now.
