341  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: "withdrawing" as a payment on: August 31, 2017, 03:44:37 PM
If I use my pool or a site like bitrex as a wallet and I "withdraw" my payment to buy machines from bitmain/canaan will this cause any kind of issues?
I suggest you to never use your pool or exchange wallet to receive and store your bitcoin. Second part of your question is quite unclear.

Both pools and exchange wallets can get hacked or shut down overnight, any fund associated with those sites will also be gone with them. There are many such examples in past so only use electrum, jaxx like wallets where you will have full control on your bitcoins.
342  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: did I lose my BCC when I transfered my blockchain.info balance on: August 30, 2017, 07:57:47 PM
I was trying to access my BCC balance from my now empty of BTC Blockchain wallet using the 12 recovery words from blockchain.info when creating an electron cash wallet.  I hope that makes sense.

What would I change the network settings to?
I have also recovered my BCC from blockchain.info wallet using same method you have mentioned above with electroncash.

I think either your electroncash is not synchronized or you might not had any balance during the time of fork.
343  Economy / Speculation / Re: What price do you think bitcoin will reach by 2020? on: August 30, 2017, 07:32:49 PM
What price do you think bitcoin will reach by 2020?
I personally think that bitcoin can reach $100.000 by 2020 but i think it's never going to go to $1.000.000!
I also think $100k is possible in next 3 years or it might take 5 years atleast but price can easily cross that level because marketcap for bitcoin is still way lower than it should be.
344  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BTC card on: August 30, 2017, 07:20:51 PM
What is the best card for you to work with BTC and other currencies?
If you are not a residence of european territory than you now can't get cards from wave crest holding which is the only card issuers used by most of the bitcoin debit card providers like cryptopay, xapo and uquid. So if you are from European country than you can still try them but if not than you might have to wait for some new card issuer to pop up.
345  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price prediction on: August 29, 2017, 05:34:03 PM
These is just speculation of bitcoin price even I'm not sure how price will be shaping in future. I have shared information seen on some portal. This is best way or platform where we can share our thoughts and get more informative.
Can you tell more about the portal that you are talking about? Do you have link to these predictions?

If you can get similar predictions for other alts than please post them too here but in better format this time.  Grin
346  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Earn money/tokens by helping others on chat? on: August 29, 2017, 05:21:23 PM
There is already one but it is more like forum than a chat room
https://www.bitfortip.com/

Also I think getting users online and ready to answer question in chat will be hardest part and it will be even harder if there will be no one willing to pay for answers.

349  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Best Vcc Provider.. Please Suggest. on: August 26, 2017, 06:30:08 AM
I am using virtual debit card from uquid and never got problem with that, I was even been able to use it to run ads on facebook and made few domain/hosting purchases withit without a single issue. Just try them , their VCC is also comparably cheap... https://uquid.com/
350  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My error on: August 26, 2017, 06:25:11 AM
I really miss out last year for not accumulated enough Bitcoin, by now I have been a millionaire.
You can still be millionaire if you invest right now rather than just waiting for cheaper bitcoins because price can easily get more than 4x within a year or two.

Just buy bitcoin with whatever you have and wait with calm. Good luck...
351  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: a fee of 67,800 satoshis... dust is expensive ! on: August 26, 2017, 06:05:54 AM
ten days later...

bitcoin price at 4314  Grin Grin

a fee of 118,480 satoshis now !!

have a nice day !

Elias.C

If you are sending $1000+ than paying $5 in fee isn't much if you compared with what paypal like usual payment gateway will charge for such transfer.

But it is true that bitcoin is no longer suitable for micro transactions till we will have lightening network.
352  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Slow BTC Network on: August 26, 2017, 06:03:25 AM
I always use the ViaBTC transaction accelerator. I dont agree with ViaBTCs politics 100% but the transaction accelerator works great.

https://pool.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/
Yes its great and I have used them before and got confirmation on my transactions within few hours during huge congestion on bitcoin network.

But you have to be first 100 users to successfully include your transaction in their queue, this resets every hours (GMT time/Forum Time)
353  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: whats the best cloud mining website currently on the web ? on: August 26, 2017, 05:45:00 AM
Most of the cloud mining have really expensive packages so it will be hard for you to recover your initial investment which is even harder when mining difficulty will keep on increasing over time.

I suggest you to rather buy a real mining hardware than purchasing any cloud mining contracts from them. Don't get fooled by their high return claims..
354  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: High transaction fees ! on: August 26, 2017, 05:42:43 AM
Hi all, haven't posted here in a while... Just noticed how high the transaction fee is now, $5 for a small transaction with blockchain.info Any ideas if the transaction will still get verified with a $0.2 fee... I only want to transfer $10 to one of my other wallets
If you just want to make micro transactions than xapo and coinbase are the only option you have because they don't have fee for their off chain transactions.

Fee depends upon size of your transactions but currently minimum fee is over $5 because mempool is full with unconfirmed transactions most of them are just to spam bitcoin network. Wait for few more days when all this spam transactions will be dropped from mempool.
355  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DO YOU AGREE? on: August 26, 2017, 05:25:54 AM
Masterluc a Legendary Bitcoin Trader
now predicts that Bitcoin will reach $15,000 before the end of this year. What’s more, he believes that Bitcoin will reach a price of $40,000 - $110,000 by the end of this bull run. He gives a timeframe of 2019 for that price target.
I think price might not reach $15k by end of this year any price between $5k to $10k is possible. Also $100k can't be reached within 2019.

He seems over optimistic about current bull run on bitcoin  Grin

360  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $150 Billion: Total Cryptocurrency Market Cap on: August 25, 2017, 02:17:56 PM
$150 billion is nothing if we compare total marketcap of all online payment processors, paypal alone have $72 billion in marketcap.

Right now bitcoin have higher marketcap than paypal but bitcoin is way better than paypal or any other payment gateways, so there is still lots of space for bitcoin price to grow.
