1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Can Be More Efficient Than Bank Transactions on: September 10, 2018, 09:40:45 PM
There are several problems, first of transaction is cheap, then banks will not earn money, the second is that the price of bitcoin is not stable, and we need to convert fiat to bitcoin and then bitcoin to Fiat (pay fee), the transaction goes ~ 10 minutes, during this time price of bitcoin can change and client or bank will have loss, is not profitable.

... if we compare that wit bitcoin, we have blocks each 10 minutes with 2500 transactions/second aprox.

This figure can rise if more people will use bitcoin? or it's a technical ceiling?
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Even the Politicians have secret investment in Bitcoin on: September 10, 2018, 03:33:03 PM
DO you know that even some of the so called politicians have secret investments in Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies that no one may be aware of? I believe this is one of the reasons why some of them have double stand when it comes to taking decisions on the adoption or regulation of cryptocurrency. Some of them are scared of publicly supporting crypto. What do you think?

And why should they not have investment in the cryptocurrency? They have money, you can invest relatively anonymously, the crypto currency has a potential future. Nothing surprising here even if in public they are against the crypto
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 💚🔥Ok, time to stop the panic mode. Bitcoin goes to the "moon" *I hope on: September 10, 2018, 03:27:21 PM
So this week turned out pretty "WTF AAA PANIC BTCBITCOIN DROPS AAAA WHYYY".

Today the first day it went a bit up. I look at some exchanges and u can easily sell your btc for $6.5k. So hodl and sell on the top.

Cheers guys, last post with the panic got a ton of replies. Let's show some hope for BTCbitcoin.  Cool

#hopeforbitcoin

Everyone talks about panic, but who panics? I don't, none of my friends don't, there is no reason for panic. Is were something global that influenced very bad to bitcoin? The course is moving and this is normal. Do you want bitcoin 10k +? Just wait, forget about bitcoin and don't look at the course until you see in the news "oh god bitcoin again 10 000 and continues to grow"
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is independent? or depends on fiat currency on: September 10, 2018, 03:04:25 PM
I can say with certainty that the instability of national currencies affects the rate of bitcoin.

The course of the crypto currency is influenced by economic factors that reduce confidence in traditional currencies, as well as numerous sanctions and strict economic control by the authorities.

Crypto currency is still a very risky and volatile asset, which has an extremely uncertain future. But today tokens make up a strong competition with depreciating fiat money due to the incompetence and corruption of central banks and governments.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happened when btc frm Nakamoto's wallet moved to binance?? on: September 10, 2018, 02:47:07 PM
I think bitcoins on Nakamoto's wallet have already been lost, well, or the holder of these bitcoins knows that everything is still ahead
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 7 safest investments. Why Bitcoin & crypto currencies ?? on: September 10, 2018, 12:13:19 AM
You can investment your money in land, house, gold, silver, stock markets, fixed deposits & savings in banks, start some business or invest in some business (like restaurant, hotels etc..)

Russia's gold reserves have reached 2100 tonnes with Russian central bank buying 27 tonnes gold in July 2018. Actually Bitcoin and crypto currencies are not required/unwanted  Grin

It all depends on what kind of deposit you have. For example, investing in gold / silver to an ordinary person is dangerous, starting a new business is very risky, especially if you are an ordinary hard worker who has no knowledge, to keep money in the bank as for me is already dangerous, fixed deposits are dangerous too, everyone predicts a crisis.

There are a couple of options. If you have enough money to buy a property, it seems to me perfect, if there is not so much money, then it remains a crypto currency
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Leave Crypto? on: September 09, 2018, 11:59:30 PM
After the gloomy days of the BTC in 2018. Some of my friends have left the market because of losses. When entering the market, people need to take risks.  From my friends, I think some of the following will benefit you living in this market:
Psychological control
Questions you should ask
You buy hold coin or you transaction?
These are the two most commonly used methods. However, buying and keeping a coin is the method that suits most people. This is a very simple, fast way of making good money in the top 20, like litecoin, bitcoin, ethereum. Ripple, store somewhere, do not read the news, do not worry about the transaction or the predictions the coin will die of the media. After a few years, they pulled out and sold.
In case you want to trade, the story is quite different, you need to buy on sale. And very simple rules, buy low sell high. As you know it is easier said than done.
Do you have money to invest?
If you do not have a lot of money, start with a small amount of money. Do not use debit card, plug the house. Plug the money into the market. The more likely you will be burnt bags. Only invest the money you have lost.

Always invest only the money that you are ready to lose. If you decided to make money on the crypto currency market, then you must immerse yourself in the topic. This is not a casino, I guess I did not guess, I listened to the guru, I lost ... It's a whole science. I recommend read the book "Trading Chaos: Maximize Profits with Proven Technical Techniques" by Bill Williams

10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bitcoin and crypto currency ALWAYS getting hacked?? on: September 08, 2018, 08:16:28 PM
In most cases there is no break-in, there is the stupidity of the person who gave away his coins. And all this is happening in the crypto world because there are a lot of big money and there are a lot of "stupid" people who just started to understand cryptoworld. I don't want to offend anyone, I just want to say that the loss of coins is on everyone's conscience
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We Need To BAN Futures Trading In Bitcoin on: September 08, 2018, 08:05:21 PM
I don't think that it is necessary to prohibit bitcoin trading and that it is generally possible in the near future, the dollar is traded for example. The time will come and the price of bitcoin will stabilize and the need to ban trade will fall away
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you aware that some Banks accept Bitcoin? on: September 07, 2018, 11:53:21 PM
Yo guys,
Are you aware that there is some banks that accept Bitcoin like Neteller or Skrill? I just discovered it so I was surprised. You can deposit your Bitcoin and use your Bank/Credit card to withdraw.
Now,it doesn't matter if Paypal adopt Bitcoin or not since it's primary competitors have already done so.*
What do you think?

This is great news, I did not know about it, but obviously you have to register there and thus the state will have data about your deposit that in the future can create problems. Anonymity will be lost
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if Government bans Bitcoins? on: September 05, 2018, 09:17:12 PM
Even those countries that are now against bitcoin, will return to it after they see the progress and benefits that countries receive that are loyal to bitcoin
14  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BITCOIN NOT SO ANONYMOUS! on: September 05, 2018, 08:10:39 PM
Even if you reveal your bitcoin address or wallet ID, you can hide the traces of your future transactions. There are mixers services, though I do not give a 100% guarantee, you need to go deeper into this. But at least this option sounds good to hide up your crypto wallet
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Artificial intelligence and blockchain be used together? on: September 05, 2018, 08:00:38 PM
I wondered that if there is somewhere very smart trader programmer or team of programmers who made a bot on the basis of neural network and launched it to learn and analis from the old market data and now this system, with a very high chance, on the basis of the current market data, buys and sells almost always with profit.
16  Other / Archival / Re: EDUCATING PEOPLE ABOUT CRYPTOCURRENCY on: September 03, 2018, 07:59:35 PM
If you take an assessment, a lot of citizens are not yet informative what is cryptocurrency is....like bitcoin and other altcoins. One proof is that others can be deceived by swindlers because of lack of knowledge regarding crypto currencies. . They invest with the wrong people because of considering in unfounded information and hearsays.
Educating people regarding crypto will not make them to mislead. Educators can teach about crypto inside school especially in economic subject/s because it has a big role nowadays.
As Tom Emmer stated, “ People tend to fear what they don’t know. If people sailing the oceans at the time of Columbus had believed the world is flat, we wouldn’t have had the great discoveries of the New World.”

Crypto currency is an alternative way of developing the monetary system, just as the modern economy did not appear immediately and cryptoeconomics should go its way. If the relevance of the crypto will continue to grow, then in time we will see new training programs in educational institutions that will disclose the topic of blockchain and crypto currency.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Samsung is going to accept Bitcoin on: September 03, 2018, 07:17:38 PM
Is this really happening. I think this will be huge support for existing of bitcoin. Recently,I heard that Samsung started to accept Bitcoin on 3 countries. It is said that customers in Tallinn, Riga, Vilnius, and Kaunas in the countries of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania will be able to purchase Samsung smartphones, tablets, laptops, TV sets, and more with cryptocurrency.

No wonder, Korea has almost always been a pioneer among modern technologies, and at the head of this corporation Koreans who are not afraid to try something new.
18  Economy / Exchanges / Re: How long will this take? on: September 03, 2018, 07:04:20 PM
I sent this transaction through Cryptopia and never had a situation where its been 2 hours+ with 0 confirmations: https://live.blockcypher.com/btc/tx/eb729f004143ad3a03288163ba957b1a8bcfb7c65c804a5da646a040c2a6594d/

Any insight would be appreciated.

This worries me too, the problem of long bitcoin transactions that slow down the whole system. Until this issue is not resolved, bitcoin will never replace fiat. In this matter some altcoins have advantages.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hodlers are unscrupulous parasites. Here's why on: September 03, 2018, 05:54:16 PM
Broadly speaking, we all are unscrupulous parasites in one way or another as we are ruthlessly exploiting nature without thinking twice what we leave behind us unless it starts to backfire (like with global warming, pollution, etc). But in this case we are all in the same boat, so it doesn't really matter who is to blame and who is to be blamed.

But this is different with the so-called hodlers. By these I don't mean early adopters who wait paiently until they can spend their coins directly without fiat. I mean those who bought bitcoins (or some other coins) and hope to sell them at hefty profits later when bitcoin gets universal recognition and adoption. So why are they parasites? The answer is simple.

Basically, they are expecting that the price will grow as they sit idly on their hands. But this growth is not possible without other people actively using bitcoin, paying with it and selling for it - all those people who help create real value of bitcoin. And I know what hodlers are going to say in reply. That they diminish the supply and thus also contribute to this growth.

But this is a lame excuse. First of all, they can't in any way contribute to real growth which is caused by genuine adoption. All they do is add up to volatility. Second, if their words were true, that would mean that more holding would lead to higher prices. In real life though, it means that a coin (in this case bitcoin) will get abandoned and lose all its value eventually.

Therefore, if we are to bravely face the harsh and unpleasant truth and call things their real names, these people who proudly call themselves hodlers are in fact hoping to get something out of nothing, to get a share of the common pie when they themselves didn't bring anything to the table in the first place. Sounds familiar? So who are they if not parasites?

Based on your logic, almost everyone who has bitcoin, parasites. The price of bitcoin is very unstable, that's because of this there are a lot of holders who try to speculate and it's normal thing in my opinion. I don't think that the progress of bitcoin depends heavily on whether people will use it right now to buy things, the progress of bitcoin depends on the states and large companies that so far do not accept and do not use bitcoin as fiat money
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Just got a little extra money and want to invest in crypto, should I? on: September 03, 2018, 05:45:14 PM
Hi I just got some extra money and I'm looking to invest, I want to invest in BTC but the price is too high for me,  what do you think will be the next BTC
one you can buy low and make a good profit when it burst?

It doesn't matter if you can invest, for 10th part of bitcoin or 10 bitcoins, the profit will be approximately the same relative to other coins. Of course there are exceptions when bitcoin does 50%, and what is altcoin does 200% but for a person who cann't analyze the market himself, it is better to buy bitcoin. Listening to someone at the forum is comparable to roulette. I would take Ripple or Litecoin, and someone will say that this is shitcoin. It's up to you.
