1441  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reason for current bloodbath on: November 22, 2019, 10:21:17 AM
We have seen a overall bloodbath of all the crypto currencies and bitcoin being no expectation, but most of the users had predicted a dump before pump which could possibly happen post halving but isn't it too early that we are witnessing this dump? What do you think has created this dump?

This dump was already predicted on this forum, and most statements related with price to go down towards $7k then it happened. These days, as far as reality was raging against predictions maybe it's good to observe on small expected price instead of predicting much higher price. For now I can't merely see the exact reason why this dumps crumpled the current bloodbath, but the only opinion was panic of some weak holders.

1443  Economy / Speculation / Re: The 2020 Next Bitcoin Halving vs The 2016 One on: November 21, 2019, 03:55:46 PM
We can't just compare previous halving in my opinion. The situation is totally different, data is still small, and it's going to be harder, I mean to totally double the price it will took lot of money to come in the market. So most probably after next year's block halving, I'm not expecting a sudden jump, the price doesn't work that way, we really need some fundamentals to really push the market to even try to get in $20k, our last all time high during the bull season.
what you say is true that Bitcoin needs Fundamental that can really push prices, because if you just look at the previous Halving history it is less effective because at that time the price was cheaper. whereas at the moment the price of bitcoin is quite high with strong fundamentals investors will trust even though the price of bitcoin is already high. so that bitcoin can really be bullish.

Possibly the same pattern will happen, but we need to wait further for those chances to occur. Bullish run cannot be experienced yet due to few circumstances, but still there's hope for all of us. Don't give up and always trust the ongoing development which will surprise everyone of us in the near future.
1444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are we all fools on believing the word "HOLD"? on: November 21, 2019, 11:16:34 AM
Holding it even we are in the bull market is a big mistake , there are many people has been experience this lost, becuase they believe that when holding it will increase its value sooner . if you are in profit  already take the profit and leave  dont wait for  dump will happen, its better to have sure earnings than gambling it for just hoping that it will increase more .
Yes, and it does include myself, having the same mistake as OP, instead of selling at ATH, I chose to hold and lost the opportunity of maximizing my profit. I was too greedy at that time and believe that crypto prices will increase more and will never go down.
So, now I learned my lesson and my current holdings will not be for hodl forever, I prepared myself to sell them when new ATH will come.

The past failures is making us stronger in times, it happens with a definite purpose. If we didn't come up with a good decision during bad days, we're still having the chance to move on. Holding had a meaningful value when we knew each coin capability, and someday we will be selling out these profitable coins once it reaches pumped price.
1445  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Altcoins- kita o lugi? on: November 21, 2019, 07:19:28 AM

1446  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Altcoins vs Token? on: November 20, 2019, 02:44:15 AM
1447  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How we can introduce bitcoin to local people on: November 19, 2019, 03:22:58 PM
Someone that doesn't have much interest in anything that is related to the internet will also not have interest in bitcoin. So these local people you're talking about, it depends on the type of people they are exactly. I have tried telling some people I see as local about Bitcoin and they are not always interested, only say that it is meant for those of us that are computer geeks. These types of people I'm talking about are the ones that focused on the mainstream society and have no interest in computer and online stuff, and they can hardly be convinced.

I don't stress much about convincing people to make use of cryptocurrency, I think when it's the right time they wouldn't need anyone to convince them at all, they will just do it on their own.

I don't stress too much myself too convincing them, I don't debate to them if they open argument, once I told them and they are not interested, I am just changing the topic and not opening it anymore, I just let them explore it on their own, I am not wasting my time making arguments for those people who doesn't to believe, if they will listen to me, I will be willing to explain to them and teach them as simple as that.

At my first year of crypto, it happened being too excited to help other people to learn all things about crypto. Unfortunately it didn't went good in the end, some of them expects me as wealthy person despite of being good on them. Some of them appreciated my efforts, but sadly most we're envy against my lucky experience of gaining such profit after previous achievements.

I'm done to be a better man, now it's time to move on and face another chapter in life as crypto oriented person.
1448  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin STILL Good Investment? (Think Again) on: November 19, 2019, 02:43:38 PM
Bitcoin price dropped many times and people think it will continue going down and ending is near. It happened many times already and bitcoin always recovers. Last year I was too discouraged after losing hundreds of thousands of dollars, I sold most of them so I can have peace of mind. But later I realized that if I continued to hold most of my bitcoins I could've saved some instead of dumping them at the lowest price level.

Don't decide dumping of an asset without any good purpose, but once you're temped to do it I guess buying back will follow. Realizing a mistakes will tend to set all things according to the potential of each and every holdings, before gaining the best and sustainable profit. Our investments will only be worthy, once greener days would happen again for the entire cryptocurrency world.
1449  Economy / Speculation / Re: Predict Bitcoin! on: November 19, 2019, 01:59:46 PM
As you known, the price of Bitcoin have been reached up 12K$ in June.
And with your experience, could you share the opinion about the price of Bitcoin in November or 2019Y?
I think it is 9K in this month and reach 10K in last month of this year  Grin Grin Grin

The price of bitcoin is difficult to predict, and even many experts say it will grow to more than $ 12k this November from the graph seen to drop to $ 8.1- $ 7.9k in the next few weeks.
and I expect Bitcoin to stay above $ 8k until this November.

That will remain consistent at the level of $8k since it was still struggling to bounce back from the last hit of $10k and now we're experiencing the dipped value. Expect the price of $8k to $9k range to fluctuate evenly as roller coaster goes so unpredictable, and I don't think most predictions will obtain the definite and accurate value so far. Right now the reality is there, and the bear market still dominates a serious movements.
1450  Local / Pamilihan / Re: [INFO] sa paggamit ng Binance Verify [ALERTO] para sa pekeng Binance Labs Email on: November 19, 2019, 08:02:31 AM
Any unsolicited emails should be ignored and reported.

1451  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency usage will boost economy or make it worst ? on: November 18, 2019, 10:37:18 PM
What if all those big corporates and businesses starts using crypto as a mode of payment just to avoid tax which will cause a direct loss to the government which uses tax for the betterment of the country. This might not affect corrupt countries as it doesn't matter because tax money goes to politician's coffers but what about developed nations?

Both, some people gain millions from BTC and other Crypto investments, and some of people lost everything they had on the ICO bubble. So IMO it can make economy better and worse Smiley
Now ICOs are not exactly crypto currencies and the usage of these assets at a large scale will definitely improve economy. Even at present, anyone who invests in the right coin like bitcoin and then use it in the beneficial way, is able to improve his financial status. It is totally up to us, common people, whether we are willing to help ourselves by investing in bitcoin and altcoins or not.

Every investment that has potential market value that sustains for long term, can help the economy. Choosing the type of coins which to be included in our sets of holdings, was quite not easy since it involves more risk. The only ways to deal with those pressures, was picking those highly recognized coins which bitcoin is one of the top and others may follow as well.
1452  Economy / Economics / Re: Which countries have banking friendly to companies that get paid in bitcoin? on: November 18, 2019, 03:50:36 PM
I would suggest sending a customer support ticket to one of your local Bitcoin exchanges, asking which Banks they use and then opening a Bank

account at these Banks, because these exchanges are doing large Bank transfers and deposits and withdrawals at these Banks and they are still in

operation. I did this with my local exchange and opened a new account at 3 new Banks and I had no problems with any of them. You are going to

have to deal with transactions that would be "red flagged" so you will have to use Crypto friendly Banks.  Wink

Right now I was using only two banks like my main bank where my main salary goes to, and it would also be the options for my crypto converted money. On the other part of that, my secondary bank was only set to be dedicated for my local exchange cash out, and that's autoconvert in my country's bank that has complete affiliations with regards to making secure deposits.

Everthing was transparent between me and the exchange I am using in order to avoid serious scrutiny, if there's possible circumstances to arise. KYC should be passed to become confident with our personal transactions.
1453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have a $ 500 fund you want to make a profit on: November 18, 2019, 03:23:51 PM
I have $ 500 or more, is that enough to invest or trade daily ??  Do I need to buy cheap coins or expensive coins?  I want your opinion for me as a newbie.

Cheap coins and expensive coins will make you profitable. All you need to know is what coins you should buy, my suggestion is to buy bitcoin as you can earn it here either in short trading or invesment. And ethereum also you can earn here next year on hold because many expert analysts say will increase its price again next year.

For so many years ethereum was proven trusted and second to bitcoin's popularity ratings. That's up to us if we're going to pick btc and eth on top of the $500 budget. Aside of that there's some promising coins to choose for, so that our holdings will not be focused on one potential profit. It would be bnb, xrp, trx and ltc as you prefer to include that on your strongest asset.

1455  Economy / Economics / Re: Paypal Drops Pornhub Support, Pornhub Is Now Exploring Cryptocurrency Options on: November 18, 2019, 07:31:19 AM
Considering paypal has always been doing bad things for their customers and why people are looking a way out, there is no surprise that they stopped working with pornhub and I am 99% sure they will go bankrupt soon. Maybe in 5 years maybe in 10 years but paypal will be gone for sure, they can't sustain this horrible business model where they are doing something against all of their customers and still get away with it because they are the most common one we know.

Aren't there other payment methods? There are, which means the more people complain about them the more companies will start to offer other options and people will use those options eventually and paypal will be gone. The only good thing paypal is doing right now is ability to integrate on any website, when other payment solutions get to that level paypal will be gone.
Bolded part.

This is the main reason why they cant be easily be stepped out of the game. They've been mainly integrated by most sites marketplaces, freelancing sites, online services .
So its hard to think that they would be phased or crossed out anytime soon.

We cant predict the future but as long fiat do exist then im pretty sure that Paypal would still exist still for more longer years. We cant think off for another payment system
other than crypto which we know it isn't been fully adopted yet but who knows if we do come to that point.

Paypal became the most convenient payment choice of many people because of its global system which is accepted by a lot of online shopping sites, banks, and other businessmen such as pornhub. Pornhub is just one of the many. It is indeed convenient. We should not deny that. I have used Paypal during the days when my employer was based on another country. But with the coming of crypto, I think it is more convenient to use Bitcoin or altcoins instead. Paypal money transfer imposes higher fees. Using crypto is much cheaper now.

The only annoys me for using paypal is the fee since they take out huge percentage when we do a transaction and maybe pornhub see that that's why maybe they will find a good option so that they can save from transaction fee's together to their costumers in more convenient manner and crypto is a good option really for this since they can select on which is the best since there are crypto like xrp who offer less fee and fast.
We will see what's the effect of those changes in the future. While they're still on the way of implementing crypto to their system, I guess it needs enough time to make their customer adopt the adjustments. Xrp is quite good, but most probably eth is more popular these days.
1456  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitgoin is going to moon 1.5.2021 it will hit 236K on: November 17, 2019, 12:35:48 PM
whats ur crazy prediction for near future guys?
i say 16.6-20k tis year,
next year 35-66k
in 2 years 236K

Crazy prediction like what John McAfee is fond of making of? Well, I am sometimes a crazy man too so if I will be predicting Bitcoin at the end of the year I will go for $15,000, next year $30,000 and in two years time $75,000. My predictions are all conservative compared to many other famous personalities and it means that mine have more chances of making it to realities.

That's okay to become crazy sometimes, just to have an ice breaker for diversions of pressures. Famous and well known people who sprouted huge amount of btc predictions is somewhat an influence gainer. They always maintain a positive outlook, without considering some factors that hinders btc price growth.
For sure bitcoin will go to the moon, but we can't predict an exact price. Better expect $30k per btc in 2022, and I think that is highly appreciated when we will reach that attainable value after long time corrections.
1457  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Halving Effect??? on: November 17, 2019, 10:55:49 AM
I also agree with the opinion of the majority of bitcointalk users who say bitcoin will go to the moon after halving in May 2020. because if we look at the history of bitcoin bitcoin has the same pattern as before. if we look at the year 2012 bitcoin also halved then in 2013 bitcoin increased in price to $ 1000 and then in 2016 bitcoin also halved and in 2017 reached the highest price of $ 20,000. by looking at this fact I also believe after halving bitcoin going to the moon.

If we based the pattern on the occurrence of fluctuations, then we'll be expecting a better future for bitcoin value after 3 years of bearish market. The halving effect was not so accurate, so it needs a lot of time to see an effective results thereafter. As a visionary, year 2020 would be a good projection once final halving comes to success.
1458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What altcoins will give in excess of profit in a growing market? on: November 17, 2019, 09:17:34 AM
I think the altcoin is experiencing a very difficult growth to reach ATH which can make our pockets rich. What because it is not an altcoin season or just an investor now does not choose an altcoin as many scam projects and disappear suddenly. Try TOKOIN to have a good prospect when ICO and launch in the marketplace make a lot of profit.

Reaching ATH was indeed so hard to achieve by now, and in choosing altcoins I guess it takes a longer timeline before it becomes profitable. Scam projects cannot be controlled, but can be suppressed if we won't be entertaining their ways of deceiving us. Nobody would be a victim, if we won't let ourselves be their preys.
1459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Prove that you shouldn't rely on icobench and others on: November 17, 2019, 08:36:00 AM
This is good advice, don't simply invest based on a top rating sites review of an investment opportunity like an IEO or STO always do your own independent research into a project's viability and chance of becoming a profitable investment in the current market climate including competing technologies and their performance

Is there any website aside from icobench? I guess it's not effective to get good results from them these days. However, investing to any of those promoted projects coming from them cannot be a reliable source of any legitimate one due to some factors like it was paid by most of project developers who've registered to it.
Hopefully there's a fair and honest results who really monitored the actual progress of each project, without any biased information, and I do expect any site who can handle smoothly.
