261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is it true Baikal releasing a massive GHs miner on: August 01, 2017, 10:50:32 AM
No. I don't think so.

It would be a little pointless as the DASH x11 hash rate will be not worth mining after October. Wink
262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Launching the Antminer L3+, World's Most Powerful and Efficient Litecoin Miner on: August 01, 2017, 06:52:11 AM
I'm having a serious doubt on the profitability of the September batch (L3+). the LTC price is at 40USD not mooving, the difficulty is increasing like crazy. As of today the roi for an L3+ shifted from 33 Days to 3Months.....
What do you think?

Yes thats how difficulty works. Thousands of these units are shipping out, and thousands more will ship out by September.

New people here really need to do some research...FYI a normal ROI for ASICs is in the 6-10 month range. If you get anywhere near that range before the next 1TH miner kills your machines you should be thrilled.

Most of the ASICs that they are selling are switched on now...for 'testing' purposes probably. Grin

They will be switched off to deliver to you shortly.

Mary NIU.                                                                                Today at 08:10

At 23:59 hours of 31st of July2017, we are going to be deploying 100 new Antminer S9 and 100 Antminer L3+ to cushion any unforeseen market instability that comes with the impending Bitcoin fork. This measure is being put in place to protect our miners investment and also preserve the trust you all have placed on us.

The deployed 100 Antminer S9 and 100 Antminer L3+ miners will be removed from the network, decommissioned and auctioned off at a discount from 00:01 hours of the 4th of august 2017.

Cost:
Antminer S9 (including its PSU): 22 LTC
Antminer L3+ (including its PSU): 25 LTC

To take advantage of this opportunity; make payments to any of the following LTC addresses and post ur transaction ID here afterwards.

For a speedy audit of auction winners, each address will only accept payments for 25 Miners.
Note: Auction starts immediately. This is a first pay, first served auction, your payment will be refunded if your funds come after the first 200 payments.

Shipping:
1. For an auction of 1 to 3 miners add 7 LTC to your payment.
2. For an auction of 4 to 10 miners add 14 LTC to your payment.
3. For an auction of 10 miners and above add 40 LTC to your payment.
(To host the miners on the cloud, please don't include the shipping cost in your payment)

Sounds legit. Grin
265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Antminer D3 sell out in 5 minutes on: July 31, 2017, 07:12:18 AM
wow damn! :O They need to produce more if the demand is this high, it is a bit silly they are not better prepared.

lol you cannot be that naive.

They build money printers, why is it in their interest to sell them all at once to the public? They mine them for a set period of time, then release to public.

They operate warehouses full of hundreds to thousands of miners, across multiple coins.

They can sell batches of 3 or batches of 3000 if they wanted.

They have a release schedule based on a business model projection.

Being prepared is not an issue on their end.

They don't mine with these before selling, they're brand new. The problem is they can't produce enough, it's not that easy to produce thousands of ASIC miners.

No. Of course not. Because you know the difference between a new one and old one. I am sure they were just testing it for three months.  Grin
266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] MonetaryUnit [MUE] - X11. MasterNodes. Funding. Governance. Services. Devs on: July 30, 2017, 08:27:43 AM
Just to let you all know we are still working hard (to be fair mainly @bbobb ) on addressing the attacks and forks.
To put things in perspective, yesterday we were attacked by a 10 TH sustained attack.
If you were to rent 10 TH, that would cost about $8k per hour!!
So, someone is quite obsessed with us for some reason.
As you can see, the block speed has improved the past couple of days ( https://chainz.cryptoid.info/mue/#!overview )thanks to the work of @bbobb @pjcltd & @c4 , so progress is being made,
but as you can expect, this is delaying lots of other things like bringing budget proposals online and other things
The work continues and things should continue to improve over the coming days.
Thank you for your continued support & patience.

Who is actually doing this? Are there any clues? Is it because MUE uses the latest version of DASH code?

Are the developers up to date with their child support? Grin

It seems that getting access to any product is difficult and risky.

They are all second hand too. I would be 'testing' them while waiting to sell to risk adverse buyers as well. Cool

Buy it. Or don't.

There are always risks. By the time you have confirmed all your doubts it will be too late anyway.

I gave up mining bitcoin because I was only getting 1.6 coins a day.

It wasn't worth it.  Shocked

Hello...

Is Kawaii pool fixed yet? Or are all the pools down?

What pools are the best to mine?
270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [POOL] YAAMP.COM multipool multialgo profit switch with exchange on: July 27, 2017, 01:29:54 PM
Hello.....

I was mining x11 DAS when the pool suddenly disappeared about two days ago.....(DP2Nc3FrMB88vSfnGbKw5djNBNt7SUDPYe)

But my miners continued to mine x11. Until 5 minutes ago.

Who has these coins now? Who decided to close the pool?

And to whose advantage was this? Shocked

Do I get an alternative payout?

Or what? Huh

Dash will definitely be dead, along with any other x11 shitcoin. The other algos will last a lot longer.

All this happens in real time.

If you adopt any of the logic above, you would not have bought any of the original Baikals either.

So you should sit on your money and miss the next opportunity. Grin

No, because when the original baikals came out there were no massive X11 miners from other companies, and no massive chunk of other algo miners from baikal.

Both of this is different this time around, but hey, it's your money...  Wink

Different is sometimes the same. I wish I knew the Chinese translation of that. Wink

It is a window for ROI. The longer people procrastinate, the less they make. What you say may be true at a point. But not right now.

Or...put the same investment into the market right now if you think the difficulty increase will be that bad. Grin

https://whattomine.com/coins

Before market crash to 60Billion from the original 100Billion

Mining ETH, ETC and some other coins estimation in Whattomine is ranging from $3-4 per 1060 with $0.15 kwh

Right now, we are back to 90Billion market, but the profitablility is ranging from $0.9-1 per 1060 with $0.15 kwh

What exactly happen?

Pre market Dump btc price peaked at $3000

Post market Dump btc price is back to $2700

Even ETH is ranging at around 3xx before Crash, 2xx after Crash. Technically it should be around $2-3 for each 1060 at the current state of price but $1+- is too low.

Any idea?

Really surprised that a "Hero Member" had no idea what difficulty was...

It has made me feel a lot better about being a newbie. Whatever that means. The 1st August thing has not completely past either.
274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Deep Onion Deep Opinion on: July 25, 2017, 06:58:56 AM
I would get in if I could sync the wallet. I cannot get any connections at all. Does TOR need to be open at the same time? Because that does not matter either for connections. Huh
275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins with Masternode? on: July 23, 2017, 01:24:07 PM
The masternodes do prevent price manipulation. By manipulating price. But what are they all going to be used for?

It gets a bit scammy.

I am getting the "únable to login" message when I use miningpoolhub...I have not had problems mining before, but now I cannot access my account.

Same problem but only with mobile connection

Can you tell me the mobile browser info?
What OS? What version?

I heard that chrome app works well.
I also tested on Samsung Galaxy default browser which works well.

My OS is Windows 10 ...Browser is MS edge...

So what does "Unable to login" mean? I have changed my password and sent you pms but no response...

279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ✔█✔█✔█✔█✔█✔█ Trollpayment [TPG] ✔█✔█✔█✔█✔█✔█ on: August 26, 2016, 08:13:47 AM
The battle is over. After a brave stand that others will talk about forever, we have lost.

But Yobit has changed forever. And we have not lost the war. Far from it.

People have seen Yobit for what it is. A shitty little exchange run by despots. Those cowards that sided with Yobit can hang their heads in shame as they turned one of the most lively chatboxes on the web into a ghost town with their heavy handed crackdown on anyone showing any sympathy to us. They took down a lot of investors by freezing their wallets and killing the market. They threatened and banned many others that had nothing to do with our stand and drove them away with their draconian manners.

They had to burn down their village to save it.

It has forced the trolls that have scattered after the battle to find other places to settle to regroup.

It is one battle. There will be more.

Has anything worth fighting for ever been won after a single battle?

We were only beaten by the filthy spammers and shallow pockets that joined our cause and weakened us. We had no discipline and we deserved to lose. We did not deserve wallets of 400 sat coins because we did not fight as a team.

Next time, we need to plan to win and fight as a disciplined troll squad.

In the end, we will prevail.
