I've never dodged a single penny of tax in my life and I suspect that is their main concern (tax, not me).
And I don't pay any taxes in principle (I'm libertarian, so f**k them all). But I'm not from UK Yeah. I hope you using this forum over Tor or an anonymised VPN if you're planning to admit you trade Bitcoin.

Sign up for 8 free articles. This is great news and I'm happy that my country is taking a measured response rather than an immediately hostile one (I'm looking at YOU Canada...) I've never dodged a single penny of tax in my life and I suspect that is their main concern (tax, not me). We need close scrutiny like this to progress.

Buy bitcoins while you still can!
I got 100,000 cheap on eBay this morning. I had to wipe the blood off them though.

I considered myself relatively mentally unstable until I stumbled upon certain people's posts on this forum.
It's a pity that ignore doesn't work with quotes...

The only reason MtGox dying would have a lasting negative impact on BTC is that the other exchanges couldn't handle the trade (I'm looking at YOU BTCe). They'd be keeping people waiting days for inter-exchange transactions which should take an hour.
We need a new, robust exchange funded perhaps by the Bitcoin elite. We need redundancy, NYSE-strength DDoS protection, staffed by professionals with important announcements made on a more serious platform than Facebook and with customer service staff who speak the major languages well.
Summer project anyone?

It will never be payed back, they'll just print some more of it.
There is no need to repay any debt as, with coming The Great Economic Collapse, the whole world will become single global corporation controlled by the US China.

Crude as hell, there's absolutely no reason why we should copy that line. I don't need to wait several months to tell you how flawed this is. You're a trader, you work by movements but ignore fundamentals - good luck to you but your TA leaves a lot to be desired

It can last weeks.
That's not very long in the grand scheme of things. I beg to differ. Confidence is about knowing we won't tank. Compare with 2011. We're doing pretty good.

As of close, yesterday: Drop the blue trendline down a bit and we are still on it. Subconsciously or otherwise, that line is in people's heads and is affecting their long-term plans.

I love how sentiment changes so quickly, everyone was bullish on the way up to $122. Now, after drifting back down to equilibrium, everyone is bearish. This is going to happen a lot for the next two months...
Well there's now an important but overlooked psychological factor in play: You can't see the crash on the 30 day chart - makes it look quite good. Would you get in if we could only see 30 days data? :p

Bit out of date now but: If something has a massive underlying trend it eventually reverts to it. World population over the last 12,000 years (log scale):

*shrugs* I dunno might be stretching it a bit much to call this anything. A more reliable indicator is this: I feel lucky It's more likely to resume where the exponential growth left off, before going nova. Therefore not going down much. Look at the curves, not the lines. Oh indeed, on the log chart the supporting trend for 2013 is largely straight and one we are slowly settling in on.

Nothing there about a BTC transfer to a wallet taking a day to show no confirmations!
That monkey should lay off the vodka long enough to hit some keys and fashion me an email response.

16 hours later and still nothing. I can see your support is active on the site but WTF are they actually doing?

No, nothing at all yet.
Have tweeted that this bad customer service will be reported on all my charts for the next few weeks, thousands of views to Bitcoin holders telling them that in case they didn't realise it: BTCe are crap.
Can't be good for business.
It's obvious that despite BTCe's benefits, it is after all second to MtGox, the closest thing we have to a 'real' exchange.
We need to get a professional exchange started and now. This is all just so amateur.

Seems like their "support" department is a monkey and a bottle of vodka.
