$111 - great price to buy. Looking quite oversold in the short-term.

Do I have to explain the relevance of that that barrier being broken at the first time of asking? There's more to the price than the last sale

good analist sir
Haha whoever called me an analist was lying

Over the 1.8% daily growth one that held for 10 weeks - which is still a mighty fine trend!
But straight up would be boring We know about the resistance past the 7-day high now!
we have broken down passed two large support lines $126 & 122 if it breaks $117 it might be grim
Done, 113 lol Haha - hat off!

Also: when the market's like this you can afford to sit out a small gain.
I did yesterday when the lag spiked and then shifted to bringing the MtGox website down.
I passed on about $10 of the rise but felt good to not be exposed in new territory.
Risk management I suppose.

Ist amazing to see how much confidece there if these prices so shortly after the last dumps. Is that a good sign ?
Hell yes. We will slow down once we approach the all-time high again and probably have a bit of a battle to go over $250 again but short-term bullish indicators abound.

It's crazy. It's almost as if this word "people" refers to...
More than one person :p

I think we now see genuine trading overload lag, the DDoS seems to have shifted to denying access to the trading page.

Thanks for that fun rocket blast up to 135.
Definitely not bearish, but this is going up a little too fast. We're in for an intra-day correction I think, at which time I'll buy back in - hopefully soon!
Smart move BUT I don't think sub-$130 will be anything other than a blip, there's a very narrow window to get back in without passing up on profits. A little consolidation at $130 would be a good thing, build some Bid walls up again.

That would be incredible if all this was simply catching up with that trendline, hahaha Quite hilarious actually
Except: we have very recent prices to go by, beyond $266 yes you would be right to be very cautious, up to then we have history.
And towards $150, the next milestone. It *might* (caveat - speculation!) just join the last pre-crash trendline of about 6% daily growth Trendline: "Hey, where you been?" Price: "Ah nowhere, just crashed, nothing major. How's things?"

Thanks for your many, many, well-considered, erudite and illuminating posts on this forum.
Thanks also for that chart, it's been at least 3 days since I've last seen it. I live in fear of forgetting every bump and valley of that chart. With your help that need never happen.

It will not matter since this forum will not be around when Bitcoin crashes to zero tomorrow.
They can crash my Bitcoin but they ain't crashing my bitcointalk. Over my dead (decentralised crypto) body!

The tone of every new thread started in Speculation would make a nice chart in itself.
It's actually what I use to buy and sell.
You can even do trend analysis on it :p

Nope. Not my handiwork. Have nothing to do with it. I don't think it's true. But if you think of countries like Zimbabwe, even the currently volatile bitcoin is more stable than their ZimDollas. (ok, the real US dollar might even be more stable...)
Maybe they should do it: move from permanent inflation to permanent deflation :p

I like irrational exuberance - people tip generously when they're irrational or exuberant. Both is even better.
Seriously though, we've learnt a lot these last 10 days. There is money flooding back in from panic sellers and new money too.
