281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is your expectation still high on the halving on: April 20, 2020, 09:34:10 PM
I am sure there will be more surprises after halving this period. We are indeed in a very difficult time, the world economy is also running slowly. So that the big pump is formed slowly, maybe by the end of next year it will be seen. Whatever the situation, still take advantage of the opportunities that exist. Do not force to enter the market if there are other needs that must be prioritized.
282  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: **TAKE YOUR COINS OFF EXCHANGES** on: April 20, 2020, 08:51:21 PM
One motto that crypto holders must uphold is "if you don't control your key then you don't control your coins"
If we deposit in the wallet exchange, it means that we entrust full security to the exchange. While wallet exchange is a target for hackers, look at how many cases of hacking exchange.
https://t.me/ico_analytic/1385
It's not that you shouldn't use wallet exchanges, but be wise in using them, for example when trading, while for storing in large quantities and for a long period, make sure you use a personal wallet.

Maximize the recommended security services exchange, make sure you keep your email and other verification safe. Use a trusted exchange, usually, the trusted exchange will compensate if there is a hacking case.
283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LATOKEN, Probit, What else? on: April 20, 2020, 12:03:32 AM
The easier the more doubtful. That is my view regarding IEO. Look at IEO held by top global exchanges such as Huobi, Binance, Okex, etc. which have fairly strict terms and conditions. That's comparable to the increasing market interest when holding IEO at the best exchange. Whereas IEO which is arranged by the usual exchange conditions is very easy to even provide massive discounts. From this fact we can see the comparison Smiley

284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto is not in healthy state yet on: April 19, 2020, 11:54:23 PM
most of the people trying to invest in crypto. market is down it is the right time to buy crypto
Not that easy. Even if the price goes down, don't FOMO, it must be analyzed first. Of all investment products, cryptocurrency is the most volatile. In fact, when the decline in March, the crypto market fell quite deep and recovered faster than other assets. So this is not a simple thing, especially during a crisis like this, the market movement is very extreme.
285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO statistics on: April 19, 2020, 10:49:42 PM
Is there a website where I can find all the information on all the IEO so far like, how many IEO was on Binance exchange, how much fund was collected, their current ROI etc? I am aware of the ICO/IEO reveiw sites but they are not dedicated to IEO info only, that's why there are not all the information I am looking.
Do you want data like this?

If you want it like that, please visit https://t.me/ico_analytic
I really like the presentation of data and analysis from there, very easy to read and understand with specific data.
If you want updated data, you can visit https://www.cointelligence.com/content/ieo-list/ or visit the official website of the exchange for IEO, for example Binance launchpad
286  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the dream of crazy on: April 19, 2020, 10:38:50 PM
Dreams are one of the biggest motivations for life. Even though many people think that your dream is excessive and think you are crazy, don't mind it, keep focusing on what you are doing. Prove that hard work will give the right results. Mute their mouths who underestimate your dreams with your success one day.

You get valuable experience from loss. It's a valuable experience so that we don't easily trust anyone, doing the independent analysis is the best choice.

“you never lose. you either win or learn.”

Very touching quote. Hopefully, we can get valuable experience from the bad things that happened.
287  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is your Satoshi theory? Deceased or alive & well on: April 18, 2020, 11:36:59 PM
what is clear is that this innovation stems from anxiety on an outdated system. Intelligent people will certainly think about what can change this, until the idea that now comes in the form of bitcoin, which we can enjoy all the good opportunities. Well, no one really knows whether Satoshi is an individual or a group, after all, it will not harm us even if we don't know it. Ignore insignificant thoughts, let's focus on the opportunities that already exist as best we can.
288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Doom of the Stablecoin Industry? on: April 18, 2020, 11:27:44 PM
~

What are your thoughts? Huh
For conventional financial systems, this is like a threat indeed. Moreover, stable coins offer the stability that is similar to fiat or the price that is the benchmark, with a combination of transparency, privacy, low cost, fast processing, which is in cryptocurrency. So that people who are afraid of cryptocurrency volatility can still enjoy crypto with very little volatility using stable coins. That is why stable coins are very effective as an alternative payment.
289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your opinion on stable coins? on: April 18, 2020, 11:22:31 PM

In my opinion stable coins are bad to invest.

Basically the main function of stable coin is not for investment, I think. The price tends to be constant, low volatility, the need for changes and extreme events that can move the price as in March, when BTC and altcoin dropped so deep, stable coin prices rose. That is caused by most investors securing their assets from extreme markets.
Stable coins are more effective as an alternative payment. Stable coins offer transparency, security, fast transactions, low fees, and privacy with guaranteed trust and price stability that is used as a reference, like dollar (USDT).
290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which one is the best to earn more? airdrop or bounty? on: April 18, 2020, 11:11:52 PM
If you do not have absolutely anything else you can make money from that means you could potentially make money from airdrops or bounties as a side income.

However what you should remember that airdrops and bounties are basically free giveaway money, sure you do some stuff for them but they are basically free, you do not spend money on them, how richer do you think you will get just because you shared a tweet from some project and retweet them? That is literally the simplest thing anyone can do, a child under age of 5 can literally do that, which means it is justified that they do not pay all that well at all. That is why if you want to work and make money digitally, you should try to find remote jobs that you would enjoy doing and work to be great at it, if you really do your job with love that will show in the results as well.
Small risk, small profit. This does not apply when luck comes. That is why I always say that the crypto world is full of surprises. Volatility provides many opportunities for us to benefit many times over, even with something that we did not imagine before. Don't underestimate simple work when luck comes. I get capital for trading from the bounty, my friend can build a house and buy land from his hard work at the bounty.

Well, we can only try our best. Legitimate airdrops are usually held by top global exchange and high-quality projects. Analyze it well, don't expect too much. Maximize your ability to join bounties, always do the analysis first.

292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will be the next movement in the market on: April 18, 2020, 09:09:47 PM
Looks like the corona virus will affect cryptocurrency too, I think that price will fall a lot, because people will need money and will sell Crypto, what are your thoughts about that?
We have felt the decline in investment products since last month, BTC also declined quite deeply and record the deepest decline in single day for the last five years. This is not only happening in the crypto market, but also in the stock market, and various other assets, here is the comparison
source
BTC shows the deepest decline, but a few days after the crypto market recovered earlier than others. This shows that BTC is more attractive, it requires not only strategy but also a strong mentality.
In this crisis, people need fresh money more than assets, which is why there is a deep decline. The opportunity is always there, the market is improving, especially soon there is a moment halving, although difficult but I am still optimistic there will be a big pump after a few months.
293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why is Telegram associated with fraudsters on: April 17, 2020, 09:57:03 PM
Telegram is very close to cryptocurrency because every project establishes communication with the community through telegram. This is where the scammers appear to take advantage of the opportunity to deceive many people. I think we can avoid scammers by setting the privacy of our telegram account or you can block the scammer directly.
Right, the fraudsters took advantage of the opportunity by creating fake accounts that were similar to the development team, the exchange team, etc. We must be vigilant, make sure that you understand the rules that the admin and dev team will not make PM first. So if an admin or dev team or exchange sends you a PM, you can be sure that it is a scammer. Don't forget to be blocked and reported.
294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hacken ai IEO failed on: April 17, 2020, 09:46:52 PM
What will happen to hacken ai now? The project planned for IEO on oceanX exchange, damn I did warned them about such exchanges, they only sold 18% of 100% tokens for the IEO in 24hrs, that's a big failure, any solution to this?
You can read the complete information here, regarding the results of IEO Hacken.ai
https://medium.com/@hackenAI/an-update-to-the-hackenai-community-1e1627578d9c
Next time, it's a good idea to ask the dev team directly, they will definitely be happy to explain the next strategic step. I think this is a pretty good project and the team is very transparent about this. The article also explained that they would continue the project with funds that had been prepared and assistance from partners.
295  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin for blind people on: April 17, 2020, 08:24:51 PM
~~
Any thoughts? Huh
Let alone for new innovations like this, facilities and other general services are still not optimal in providing services to people with disabilities. Of course, if there are developers who care about this it will surely give equal opportunities to disabled people to enjoy Crypto world. Although difficult, it does not mean impossible.
296  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google has removed 49 cryptocurrency wallet browser extensions! Good move? on: April 17, 2020, 08:18:02 PM
I have not seen the article to know in detail how things happened. But it is a good decision to remove malicious extensions. When I first read OP. I was alarmed thinking that the MetaMask extension might be included. But happily not so.
I love MetaMask!
I think TS should include a news link related to the topic to be discussed, so that the discussion is more directed. Well, I found this article, which seemed to be referred to in the topic
https://cointelegraph.com/news/google-removes-49-phishing-extensions-that-steal-cryptocurrency-data

Of course this is a very good thing, like the opinion of most of the members above. Google as one of the technology giants gives a very big influence, almost all social media accounts, chat, buying and selling, etc. are connected with Google accounts. This is an excellent strategic step to provide security for users. The crypto wallet extension can contain malware, which is why before installing an extension make sure it's official and do a simple analysis to find out its quality. In the article mentioned that there are fake five star ratings, we must be really vigilant. Moreover, wallet extension requires us to force mnemonics, private keys, etc. which can be used as a way for hackers to access our wallet.

This is good advice from Brett Callow, Emsisoft's threat analyst at cybersecurity firm
Quote
Security products may detect malicious extensions, but the first line of defence should always be common sense. The best advice is to only install extensions from official stores and to do a little research prior to installing them. If a website randomly prompts you to ‘Click ‘allow' to continue downloading an important browser update,’ just close the page.

297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Coinmarketcap or Coingecko? on: April 16, 2020, 11:31:41 PM
For example, I heard lot that P2PB2B is one of the bullshit exchanges because it has fake volume, but why on coinmarketcap can in the top 3?
Whereas on Coingecko P2PB2B is ranked 114, Does coingecko know if it's bullshit exchange? so it's not in the top 3 like in coin marketcap

So which one do you trust more?
Because the two are different, they must have different systems and ways to determine the ranking. Then, what do you expect? you better ask directly if you want a really detailed review through the contact provided.

and wait, you use this link in the thread, it is not an official page, http://https//coinmarketcap.com/rankings/exchanges/
this one should be, https://coinmarketcap.com/rankings/exchanges/
Are you really making a mistake or are you planning to do something bad? Shocked
298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: the first reason why fraud projects are increasingly rampant? on: April 16, 2020, 11:19:14 PM
Conducting an IEO on an exchange requires a lot of money. This is why many project teams decide to hold an ICO, to raise initial capital, and use the funds raised to conduct an IEO. This was recently done by the Cartesi team, who first held an ICO, and now on April 24 will hold an IEO on Binance.
A truly quality project with a solid team will certainly strategize. Cartesi from the beginning really attracted attention with its unique niche, really struggling to develop the community to successfully work with Binance.

There is nothing wrong with ICO, what is wrong is the person who is trying to cheat under the guise of ICO, that's what makes ICO doubtful, especially as the OP said, many fake projects that look very real.
299  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 26 days to the halving left, what are you expecting? on: April 16, 2020, 11:12:36 PM
I guess this upcoming Bitcoin halving will be the most hot topics this month or maybe even next month. Will some people do expect a quick recovery like a quick bull run but that isn't how halving works since after the halving there is still not that much of a change of price not unless someone manipulated the market. If you based the previous halving to the upcoming halving I'm sure you will understand how the market supposed to be working when there is a halving.
True, this has been seen from the increase in searches with the keyword "bitcoin halving" on google trends
We also have to understand this situation. In the previous halving period, the pump does not happen instantly, but it requires a process, up and down, until the expected moment. We must really understand this situation so as not to FOMO and get caught up in losses.

BTC prices tend to rise after halving
300  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Another Exchange got hacked on: April 14, 2020, 10:11:22 PM
Another crypto exchange got hacked and this time the victim is Bisq, a trading platform that has temporarily ceased all its trading services that unfortunately cost users at least $250,000 in digital funds, is there no year gone by withouth a crypto exchange getting hacked? This one weaks me, will this ever stop?
This will not stop, there will always be "unscrupulous" people who try to benefit by doing inappropriate ways. This kind of crime we often encounter in the real world too, right? just think of pickpockets. We also have to realize this is part of the risk when involved with the world of crypto, don't make this fear, make it the motivation to do the best strategy and security for your assets. Choose an exchange that is truly trusted, they will certainly provide compensation and take responsibility if there are things that are detrimental to their users.

During 2019, several exchanges were hacked, including the top global exchanges. Some of them have a significant influence on the market. This can be repeated, so be wise in protecting your assets.
