61  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Paldo.io — Farm Airdrops, the Easier and Safer Way on: April 14, 2024, 04:25:36 AM

62  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What could be the reason.. on: April 14, 2024, 04:10:56 AM
As someone who isn't knowledgeable with law, I think it's simply because more developed countries like the United States are far less impulsive with announcing bans and stuff. Instead, countries like the US go through agonizingly long processes(mostly for good reason) to get stuff like bans to be implemented. You know, submitting bills and stuff. In fact, a lot of gov officials in the US are for banning bitcoin/crypto.
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I don't get the whole USDT thing on: April 14, 2024, 03:57:51 AM
If you're from the US, I would recommend using DEXs instead because centralized exchange + VPN isn't really a good mix as your funds can get locked up.

This is going to be a bit complicated at the start for you if you have no experience trading on-chain, but yea.

- HyperLiquid
- dYdX
- WOO X

Best of luck. Make sure you know what you're doing.
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is LTC dead? on: April 13, 2024, 06:35:12 PM
Litecoin is still live and will still have market pumps but the concept is pretty much dead. People soon realized that "silver to bitcoin's gold" is such a dumb selling point that even I can't believe that I fell for that narrative back in 2016.

Still a good protocol for developers to test things out though.
65  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Currency/cryptocurrency exchange Obmify on: April 13, 2024, 06:12:30 PM
Cons:

- it's new, hence barely anyone uses it
- social media accounts are pretty much dead\
- showing a trustpilot link as if trustpilot matters
- being promoted by a new account as if he/she doesn't own the website and is instead trying to act as if he/she is creating a "review"
66  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Paldo.io — Farm Airdrops, the Easier and Safer Way on: April 13, 2024, 04:29:16 PM

Done are the days na panay KYC and social media share lang ang airdrops. Nowadays, puros LP-ing and activity-based na ang airdrops — which is FAR better!

Wag ung all in ng all in sa plataporma.

Kahit ako man o sino ung may ari ng site, always verify!

I have been doing crypto for a living since 2016. Tongue So yes sobrang pili ung nilalagay ko para iwas rug pulls. As always, anjan ang exploit risk so manage your money well!

If you can really distinguish or at least sort yung medjo hindi sketchy na project airdrops oks yan.

But always, doublecheck!

Hahaha not me!

67  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Paldo.io — Farm Airdrops, the Easier and Safer Way on: April 13, 2024, 01:43:05 PM
@OP mayroon ka bang portfolio or background introduction sa sarili mo para malaman namin ang reputation mo outside the forum since bago ka palang dito. Paano namin maguguarantee na papaldo talaga kami.  Grin

Welcome sa forum kabayan.

so ayoko sana iconnect tong account kong ito sa Paldo.io pero since ongapala may kinalaman ang reputation dito, aamin na ako saakin yang project na yan.

Will respond to other questions later. Out pa ako for dinner. Cheesy
68  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to be more visible in the forum as a beginner on: April 13, 2024, 10:49:03 AM
Why even focus on being more 'visible'? Focus solely on post quality, and then visibility will follow. A post can literally be pinned at the top of every single section but if the post quality is crap, I'll just skip it altogether. Even if you post it on off-topic, a post with great quality will ALWAYS stand out.
69  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin = Proof of Scam ? on: April 13, 2024, 08:58:28 AM
Well shit dude the white paper doesn't mention things like store of value and inflation hedge as well. What now? Bitcoin is a scam? Lmao. The halving terminology wasn't coined by Satoshi but the point is that the concept of it has already been baked into the code since forever.
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solana might be next leading, after Ether & bnb. on: April 13, 2024, 05:35:40 AM
Man, what do you mean by "might be next leading" and "going to lead"? Solana has been leading for a good while now! Also, take note that SOL is up like what? 500% in a single year? I know there's still room to grow but why are we talking about the Solana ecosystem as if it's underperforming lol.
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SEC sues UniSwap: an opportunity for DeFi? on: April 13, 2024, 02:47:50 AM
In a worst-case scenario, it would be crucial for Uniswap to receive financial backing from the Ethereum Foundation, major crypto players, and the community.
Whatever the result is will definitely heavily influence the broader crypto/defi markets; I'm pretty sure everyone will be banding together and collect funds when needed. Even Coinbase will likely be chucking in.

  • Is UNI token a security after the tokenomics update?
  • Can UniSwap Labs win this lawsuit?
  • Will the outcome of the lawsuit have a positive or negative impact on DeFi and the crypto market?

1. What update? The revenue-sharing thing isn't even live yet.
2. Highly likely, in my opinion.
3. If they win, it's a positive. And vice versa.

72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bull Run - Gambling - New Coins on: April 12, 2024, 05:58:52 PM
I don't get into presales at all because I don't need to lol. I just buy coins in the open markets; and if I want to be early on a project, I just try to farm the airdrop(if it looks like they will do an airdrop) using the Paldo.io database.

As for portfolio allocation, there's really no solid rule for this. If you're bullish on the project, go bigger. If not, then go smaller. Simple as that.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are the good days for meme coins gone forever ? on: April 12, 2024, 05:47:54 PM
Idk man, my entire Twitter feed is like 50% memecoins lmao, and there are still pumps here and there. Low-fee ecosystems like Solana and Base are definitely enabling this trend and I don't see it going away any time soon. Heck, Before this dump today, I've seen multiple memecoins pumping. I'm not sure what you're looking at lol.

75  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did Anyone here saw the Coingecko Narrative Tweet for Q1 of 2024? on: April 12, 2024, 05:13:14 PM
mk4, dzungmobile, Zaguru12

I am pissed because the narrative was always Bitcoin and these altcoins are only capitalizing on the power of Bitcoin. We all have been lenient towards these mischievous mainstream media outlets and these two (CoinMarketCap (CMC) & CoinGecko) popular platforms that track cryptocurrency prices live. They have been always against Bitcoin and they have always kept their agenda of hiding the facts and degrading Bitcoin. A line if it was added to the tweet would have made the reason clear why these narratives are showing so many positive outcomes to their investors.

If they had written," Bitcoin bull run caused, Top 8 crypto narratives in 2024 by ROI" then it would have been the right thing. Whereas they neglected it feeling that everyone on X.com is aware of why the cryptocurrency market is doing so better than the stock market. Whereas a lot of not much intelligent users will now think that it is better to invest in these narratives rather than Bitcoin. This is what negative marketing looks like if we do a broader market research and it has been going on for more than a decade now.

No one is neglecting your coin. I'm pretty sure anyone with half a brain knows that the entire industry pumps when bitcoin pumps.

And I don't even think we need to go as far as to say "They have been always against Bitcoin and they have always kept their agenda of hiding the facts and degrading Bitcoin." Because really, these are cryptocurrency listing sites. Their job is to literally report about the broader industry, not just Bitcoin.
76  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Listahan ng mga Crypto Platform, Trading Platform Blocked by SEC on: April 12, 2024, 04:55:50 PM

77  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does trading belongs to everyone? on: April 12, 2024, 12:05:59 PM
Scams aside, and yes trading can be 'learned' and all that, but to put it simply — trading is not for everyone, just like how dentistry, being a doctor, engineering, etc, is not for everyone. It will simply be for whoever is genuinely interested in it to actually continue learning it for long periods of time.
78  Economy / Speculation / Re: Satoshi forces the price of bitcoin to continue to rise over time on: April 12, 2024, 11:55:23 AM
It's to slow down the supply distribution/inflation; the price increase is only a byproduct due to the decreased new supply.

And I don't know if you actually think that (though I think it's likely just language barrier), but saying "forces" is not the right word to use in this case lol.
79  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the dark side of the currency circle that you must understand? on: April 12, 2024, 08:43:35 AM
The Bitcoin and cryptocurrency space is absolutely filled with scams up and down, left and right, and the only way for you to not get scammed/hacked is to educate yourself. There's no other way around it. Even a lot of the influencers are scammers.

80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your opinion about binance launchpad projects on: April 12, 2024, 03:48:19 AM
Binance frequently lists dogshit tokens but historically the tokens they list on their launchpad have done great price-wise.

I've held a decent amount back then until price discovery, but I definitely wouldn't hold most of them long-term. I definitely think ENA is going to do great this cycle though.
