1  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Contribute back to the Bitcoin network by automatically deploying full nodes on: June 26, 2014, 06:29:30 PM
Q: $20? That's too much, you can find cheaper VPS providers!
A: I know, but servers with less than 2GB of RAM tend to crash the bitcoind daemon
Wrong I have a full node with 512MB RAM and 512MB Swap. Its never crashed.
Its not lots of RAM it needs, its swap.

Also $20 a month, is too much. I run mine for $15 a year at crissic.net

https://my.crissic.net/cart.php?a=add&pid=45
RAM: 512MB
Swap: 512MB
Disk: 100GB
Bandwidth: 2048GB
IPv4: 1
IPv6: 16
$15 a year

3  Bitcoin / Project Development / Mt. Gox YubiKey Config Access Code Lookup - Reuse your old Mt. Gox YubiKey! on: June 21, 2014, 04:16:36 PM
Got an old Mt. Gox YubiKey gathering dust somewhere? You can now reprogram it and use it on a variety of sites and applications such as blockchain.info and Lastpass.

https://green65.me/mtgoxyubikey/

As Mt. Gox has gone bankrupt the YubiKeys which Mt. Gox sold are now useless, unless they can be reprogrammed with standard YubiKey configuration.
Unfortunately Mt. Gox YubiKeys have a configuration access code which prevents the non-standard Mt. Gox configuration from being changed or removed.
This tool will provide you with the access codes to your Mt. Gox YubiKey.

To reprogram the YubiKey you need to follow the instructions, which involves wiping all the slots and WILL prevent the YubiKey from working with Mt. Gox or any other websites that use the current (Mt. Gox) YubiKey configuration!

If you have any questions or need help just PM me https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=pm;sa=send;u=88983

11  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: vdragon Erupter-Groupbuy-Scam : Task Force on: July 30, 2013, 03:14:22 PM
I have contacted action fraud today and got a crime ref. number.  Roll Eyes

Can everyone who was scammed in the UK report it to http://www.actionfraud.police.uk/ if you want to i can provide you with my crime ref number so everyones reports can be linked (PM or email me)

If your outside the uk report it to your countries police.
12  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: vdragon Erupter-Groupbuy-Scam : Task Force on: July 29, 2013, 08:19:28 PM
Can anyone explain me what the police wil do with the personal info (e.g. Addres, Real name) of the report green65 is going to submit?

It’s just going to be a list of victims with their contact details along with the amount bought, bitcoins lost and aprox. fiat amount.

If the police want to ask you any details then an email or phone number would be useful, also having victims addresses would be useful if he is found and compensation is to be paid, as people know the legal system still likes using lots of paper and snail mail. If you dont want to give me any info thats fine I will just put a note saying you did not want to provide me with this info which i would totally understand.

If you send me a screenshot of your PMs thats evidence of a transaction and contact between you and vdragon.
13  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: vdragon Erupter-Groupbuy-Scam : Task Force on: July 28, 2013, 02:00:48 PM
Maybe its a good idea to get every vitcim identified before green files a complaint. They want names and ID's , not just forum nicknames.

I assume it will be possible with the Bitcoin message averybody should have sent? right?

i sent that to green65 but i worry that some people might be working with vdragon notice how many people are on this list *CURRENT ORDERS

I have been googling and contacting some of the owners of the outputs in the blockchain and they confirm that the transactions relate to bitcoins they bought on bitstamp. Getting the info from bitstamp should not be too much of an issue as they are a UK registered company therefore they have to follow the proceeds of crime act and money laundering regulations.

Does anyone from the group buy live in London and would be happy to contact the Mets E-Crime unit?

Can someone contact bitstamp by every means they can ASAP and get them to freeze his account as he may not have withdrawn the funds yet.

This is the address we need to be looking at: https://blockchain.info/address/1CSPFR5CrkcxHmNG9yra3rL2BW6BHttJHL

This address is his bitstamp address https://blockchain.info/address/1meLbV7TMMSpWrW9Nw6QUAbf9XJRztXL8 all the outputs are our coins being sold (i contacted the outputs owners).

green, you should contact them direct yourself asap - https://online.met.police.uk/

Thats pointless I suspect they will just give me a crime reference number and that will be the last I hear about it. I will phone tomorow.
