Can somebody explain me how to top up a cellphone with bitcoins in Xapo World? I choose my country, enter the phone number, choose an amount to pay, but when I click on "Top Up", the "Pay" button does not appear (I just see my Xapo wallet balance and the recharge amount).
882  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: January 01, 2016, 01:19:06 PM
It's easy to see why gambling is wrong. A win is a thrill that whets the appetite for more. A loss is often followed by more playing in hopes of recouping the loss. With the boom in betting comes the corrupting consequences: deep indebtedness, depression, despair, broken homes, criminal behavior, suicides and many other tragic repercussions that affect individuals, their families and society.

While it is possible to make money gambling at a casino, you certainly shouldn't count on it. Luckily for the casinos, some gamblers do count on it – and some even think they have the winning method down, when all that method will get them is broke.

I lost a couple of my own by a couple of points, about 10 minutes into the game, i received a call from luxbet telling me that my bet was voided as the bookies made a mistake. I wish i could call up the luxbet when my bet was gonna lose and tell them to cancel it!
885  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Site for eSports Betting? on: December 31, 2015, 08:39:16 PM
To find the one that fits your needs the best you should do some research yourself on the sites that you are considering. A good start might be to read the reviews here: http://www.esportsbets.com/reviews/ .
886  Economy / Gambling / Re: How to get celebrities gambling? on: December 31, 2015, 08:09:39 PM
Guys like Dan Bilzerian and Mayweather are huge gamblers. How to get them to start playing on the Bitcoin gambling game? this would bring lots of media attention which at the end of the day is all that counts. Those guys talking about Bitcoin means lots of new people starting in the gambling Bitcoin ecosystem since they have millions of followers.

Good idea, especially when there are a growing number of celebrities who share an addiction to gamble away what they earn at casinos, poker games and tournaments. To get them playing on "bitcoin gambling game" we need to have really luxury site that will accept only btc as a payment method. The main of old-school casinos should start accept cryptocurrencies, also it would be a good idea to find somebody who is close to celebrities and can promote bitcoin.
887  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcointalk Escrows - Trade Safely! on: December 29, 2015, 10:56:53 AM
Instead of opening another thread, how do we ensure the trade is safe? Trusted escrows trusted with too much btc can still fall to greed, so if there anyway to stop that? Maybe there should be a system where the btc for escrow is stored somewhere, and two users are required to retrieve it back, something like a lockbox that needs two keys to open.

Could escrow be 100% safe all the time? Or would letting the computer safe keep be safer? (if an escrow program were to exist)

This is called multisignature trancactions: buyer commits money into a 2-of-3 transaction with the seller and a third-party arbitrator. If transaction goes smoothly, then both buyer and seller sign the transaction to forward the money to the seller. If something goes wrong, they can sign a transaction to refund the buyer. If they cannot agree, they both appeal to the third-party who will arbitrate and provide a second signature to the party that it deems deserves it. This is very safe and I prefer to use such transactions instead of third party escrow when the seller doesn't mind.
888  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Master-P POSSIBLE SCAM. I lost complete faith in this forum now. on: December 28, 2015, 12:30:46 PM
Getting back to this subject, I also think that master-p has been very irresponsible selling his account.

It is also a very big chance that his account was never sold (the "buyer" is Master-p by himself)... To avoid such scam, I think every escrow provider must receive enough money for their job or we all should start to use multisig escrow.
889  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: December 26, 2015, 09:17:05 PM
If you want to win big and constantly, you need to start a gambling business. No other way around. You cannot take a bigger cut of the gambling pie unless you are one of these companies. Even the most successful poker players and sports bettors cannot compete them in profitability.
890  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Official Xapo Service Discussion on: December 26, 2015, 05:06:51 AM
Just want to check on there fee. I know they will charge some fee for cash withdrawal and that part is OK but if we buy something online or we use card directly buying something in shops like other credit cards. Do they still charge some fee for these purchases also? In otherwords do they charge some fee for all kind of transactions?

So for I didn't use any of these cards so appreciate you're feedback. Thanks

If you use your card for purchases in your card spending currency, no fees are charged. If the purchase is made in a currency that's different from your card's spending currency, a 3% Foreign Exchange fee is applied.
891  Economy / Gambling / Re: Has this ever happened to you in Gambling or it's just me? on: December 25, 2015, 09:48:18 PM
The bad part about the sport gambling is the absence of mathematical pattern of probability on a single event. The game is played by humans and anything can happen. Similar to the poker game where the human factor is very important. In sports betting the human factor is even more important in my opinion. This makes it extremely difficult to stop gambling because the gambler always has 'a feeling' about the outcome of the game.
892  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbetting tips: How to bet? on: December 24, 2015, 11:21:03 PM
Don't place all your eggs in a single basket, this means not to place all your bets in a single betting site because every sportsbook has different odds. The best thing to do is to shop around to evaluate where you can get the best returns. Check more betting sites to know where to place your bets.
893  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is gambling fix your life? or wreck your life? on: December 24, 2015, 10:40:01 PM
Just stop gambling , even its hard. Move all your online money to a fiat money. Keep it or would be better lock it by put the money to someone you trust.
I feel sorry when I see many people get broke / wrecked because an addiction to gamble and just few people found himself in good position and claimed gamble has fixed their life

I have noticed people gamble more when other aspects of their lives are falling apart. Be it love, work, relationships or finances there are plenty of reasons for times to be tough.
894  Economy / Gambling / Re: I am done! on: December 23, 2015, 10:56:29 PM
For compulsive gamblers, even if they could win it all back, they would still gamble. A compulsive gambler thinks this is all about the money. But underneath, it is not about money. I do think that gamblers love the rush of gambling. And since most gambling games are set up so that the House has the edge, you are bound and determined to lose.
895  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Joincoin (J) ToR Anonymous All Algorithm mining! *1.3 WALLET UPDATE!* on: December 23, 2015, 10:09:56 AM
well i got no problem putting my name to the coin and doing a new thread ?

I think, we should agree this with topic starter (Love_of_Algo, Last Active: December 16, 2015) in order to close this thread and make an announcement about new one, or maybe he will just depute his account to one of us (I propose DOGEbubble, since he is very active here, or pjcltd).
896  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin debit card on: December 22, 2015, 10:08:13 AM
Does this card work like a prepaid visa/mastercard? Or do I have to pay monthly fees in order to keep my card?

This card work like a regular mastercard/visa card and can be used anywhere - to shop online, to pay in stores and to withdraw cash at ATMs worldwide. You have to pay monthly SMS notification fee ($1,00/€1,00/£1,00) every month when you use the card, in the moths where no transactions are made, there is no fee.

The e-coin card isn't available in my country
can i send it to an friend address and the he will send it to my address in my country ?

Yes, you can:

As a temporary solution, can only suggest ordering the card to your relatives' or friends' address in a country from the list and nearby

But if you would like to pass verification process in order to increase your card limits, you will need to provide a proof of residence for the address tied to your card.
898  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Official Xapo Service Discussion on: December 21, 2015, 08:53:14 AM
Xapo have many drawbacks.
Sometime the verification / confirmation processes eat your head and it fails.
Everytime I login with same Device but always it tell me to verify myself whenever I login. And the code takes too long to receive. I am fed up of their service now .
Only one advantage is they pay fees for the transaction.
But the techinal things are very bad.
Xapo need improvement

You just need to change your 2fa method from sms to Google Authenticator or Authy in your account security settings, and no more waiting at all.
899  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin debit card on: December 20, 2015, 07:44:42 PM
how do i add btc to the card?

You should have a btc in your E-coin account. From the main paige in your cabinet select "LOAD CARD", select a card you want to load, than enter the amount of bitcoins you want to convert or amount of currency you want to receive and click on "SUBMIT". Your card will be loaded instantly.
900  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin debit card on: December 20, 2015, 07:09:36 PM
How is the limit calculated? Total fiat transaction amount? Or Bitcoin loading amount? Or is it card loading only?

This limit is for card loading only. More info about E-coin debit card limits and fees you will find here: https://www.e-coin.io/bitcoin-debit-card-fees-and-limits.
