I am looking at signing up today and I have a few questions,
1, What is the shipping time within the UK?
2, Does this card support contactless payments?
Kind regards Alex
I think, you should get the card within one week in the UK. This card doesn't support contactless payments.

I have a question about the Xapo debit card.
If a pending transaction on my debit card is cancelled, do I recieve the exact amount of BTC on hold back or is the BTC amount returned calculated with the current exchange rate when the transaction is cancelled?
All pending transactions on my account that got status "Canceled" was declined almost instantly (up to minute) and I received the exact amount of BTC on hold back.

Right now i trying to mining a lot of coins, i thinking its mabey its good to save the coins like 6-12 mdr before selling it.
Can orther explain about its a good point else about the risk its to high to lose to lot on it?
If we are speaking about the alts, the best decision - is to sell your coins during the first pump. When you are not sure regarding the exact sell price, you should always sell only the half of the coins and if price will go more up, sell again the half, etc.

People,i really don't know when to stop in gambling and to earn more and more i never stop and eventually lose it all...So i always decide that i will not gamble and only earn bitcoins but the thing is i can't stop myself from making bets and gamble daily so i want to ask here is there any way or wallet that doesn't allow me to send my bitcoins for some days? so that i can forcefully not gamble or is there any way where my bitcoins will be secured for say x days means i can't withdraw in that period Please help me guys?
The best decision would be to create a multisig address and send your bitcoins to this address, after that, give one of the key(s) to your family member(s) and ask to keep it save from you until a certain time.

I am looking to set up a form of gambling website and I need to know what is the best country to operate this business out of, since the gambling regulations in the USA are tight, strict and very costly. If there are any suggestions, please let me know. I am also looking for threads I overlooked that discuss this. Thank you in advance.
Though there are popular gaming jurisdictions like Curacao, Malta, Alderney, Isle of Man, and Gibraltar that offer licences (for a great number of countries), in the end the local legislation prevails and is imposed over any international law. As a provider of gambling activities, you need to apply for a licence in the country where you want to set your business.

I think, if you arrived the point where you were truly abstinent for a very long period, a family member would help you out get out of crushing debt. You are not that old and you can earn money to pay back your debts, if you commit to it. All of this stuff is hard, but it is doable.

bitcoinsforsale, if you're concerned about keeping your gambling under control, sticking to some simple rules such as setting a money or time limit can help make the hard decisions for you when the time comes to walk away...

I don't know why but I always get a feeling to gamble, after then losing my money, I quit for some time and then continue, but I know I will lose my btc Why is it so addictive? Actually, many factors can contribute to a gambling addiction, including desperation for money, the desire to experience thrills and highs, the social status associated with being a successful gambler, and of course the entertaining atmosphere of the gambling scene.

Anyone know which one from this list of provider the one that gives a virtual debit card I don't really need physical one, i just need the virtual to verify my paypal Thank you As far as I can see, Advcash, Bitstamp, E-Coin, okpay and WageCan are offering a Virtual bitcoin debit card. But I can't say exactly which one would be the best choice for PayPal. Which one would you recommend in terms of usabillity, reliance and fees? I think there are too many parties that are running scams (the polish banks f.e. who just block your card). As a Virtual Bitcoin Card provider I chose E-Coin because of their low fees, a good support and ability to control/lock the exact converting BTC to fiat money price.

Personally, I use Xapo, they use the same card issuer as E-coin. The main difference between them, that Xapo converts BTC to fiat money during purchase (on the fly) and with E-Coin you have to do it manually (that gives you opportunity to control/lock the exact converting price). What is your country and in which currency you would like to have a card?

So what does this have, that other bitcoin debit cards don't have?
Shift bitcoin debit card can be shiped to the USA, has no monthly/annual fee and 0% BTC to USD conversion fee for domestic transactions (for a limited time). It also ins't a prepaid card, which most Bitcoin debit cards are. Instead of funding the card by converting some BTC to USD at one point in time, the card withdraws BTC from your account balance and converts it to USD on the spot when you use it. This means that different amounts of BTC will be used for same amount USD transactions due to Bitcoin's price volatility. Yep. This is a big difference. Prepaid cards just suck. This card allows you to hold bitcoin - and at the moment you decide to buy something, a trade - only for the amount of the purchase - not a new prepaid event to buy another large block of fiat, but rather a trade is done to cover the purchase. Not a bad system. Those prepaid schemes are not so interesting. But shift and coinbase nailed it as it allows a very convenient exit from bitcoin holdings which was not previously available. Excellent system. This feature (converting BTC to USD on the fly) doesn't make Shift card unique. The same system is already used by Xapo for a long time.

What is the cheapest bitcoin debit card?
It depends of what you mean, costs of shipping or card usage fees... But anyway, you should try to find an answer or repeat your question in this thread: List of bitcoin debit cards.

Since this is regular VISA card, you can use it everywhere where the VISA accepted. This is E-Coin debit card thread. You can ask your questions about Shift card here: Shift - Bitcoin Visa Card - now available in the US.

SatoshiTango claims that we can get their virtual or plastic bitcoin debit card now from 0 USD (free). But looks like you have to create an account to find more information about the fees.

Probably eMunie is something for you. It will going public in some months time and the target there is always to get a stable price. At least they try it. In general I don't believe in a concept of fixed prices.
There are also Tether currencies, new assets that move on the bitcoin blockchain through the open source Omni Protocol and 100% backed by traditional currency held in reserves, therefore, 1 tether USD₮ will always equal 1 USD (1 EUR₮=1 EUR, 1 JPY₮=1 JPY).

I also vote for the BTC-e. It is one of the biggest and the oldest exchanges. It has never been accused of stealing people’s money or engaging in any sort of malicious behavior by several users of the exchange, moreover, when in 2012 hackers stole 4500 btc (~$40k), the exchange has not been closed and all balances have been returned to the users accounts.
Well, I wouldn't vote for it myself. Even if they're not scammers, their support is dire if you have any problems and I'm not sending any money into a totally unknown black hole regardless of its track record. And if you want to send fiat there you have to go through ID verification with the third party payment processor before sending anyway. Why bother? It's faster and cheaper to use all the other exchanges. If you're depositing and withdrawing coins only I'd go for Bitfinex as they don't require ID and volume is that much higher. Their support is dire because there are only a few people, russians (as in 2011) - this is a price for anonymity. And the ID verification is required by the bank, not the exchange.

Do you know any exchange similar to BTC-e which operates with GBP? I am sick and tired. I tried register on every single one of English exchange markets just to see info that I need to send them picture of myself with ID in my hand.
BTC-e is unique. There's no other major exchange with fiat markets that doesn't give a shit about ID. It did have a GBP market for a while but it would've taken so long to get money on there you might as well have done a foreign transfer anyway. There ain't many UK exchanges because none of them have UK banking. You'd be hard pressed to find anywhere British based that won't have ID demands up the jacksy anyway. Even localbitcoins sellers all seem to want ID these days. I also vote for the BTC-e. It is one of the biggest and the oldest exchanges.
