1381  Economy / Economics / Re: Make money from money on: January 29, 2017, 10:04:36 PM
when the investors invest they do a lot of research, just not like the movie THE WOLF OF WALL STREETS .and they think they the companies have a lot of potential then only they invest.
The movie wolf of wall streets really showed what was happening in wall street at that particular time .

Its easier to make money with money, that is long time known truth. Its miracle to make something from nothing or almost nothing.
I think main characteristic for all this people is big circle of friends, and you always have some exclusive information's, and with money you are always ready to risk, cause even if you lose on one place you have on many others.
It is not always that easy to make money .You have to study the market before investing the money you have because you have to study the fundamentals before investing your hard earned money into something. People with huge amount to invest might hire a financial advisor to help them with their investment .
1382  Economy / Economics / Re: You should never trust banks on: January 29, 2017, 09:44:33 PM
We had a deep discussion with some dude here about this issue, he claimed that you preserve the full property rights over the money in your bank account while I claimed that you necessarily concede some rights to the bank, for example the right to use the money (since the bank obviously can lend this money out or use it as it sees appropriate), but in any case the money still remains yours. Otherwise you wouldn't be able to take it back, which in practice would pretty much amount to losing the money
It all depends upon the rules and regulations set forward by the government, when demonetization hit the Indian economy people were not even allowed to withdraw their money deposited in banks,so your rights over the money in your bank can change according to the situations and during that phase people were finding it difficult to make ends meet even with money in their account.
1383  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me your predictions about Bitcoin on: January 29, 2017, 09:30:43 PM
yes i think still not a single country accept bitcoin, but many government are seriously thinking about it. therefore we can expect that in future bitcoin will become more and more popular and hope that more and more will invest their assets here in bitcoin.
You can deal with bitcoin in many countries and there are bitcoin ATMs in America and in Canada, why would the government intervene if you are happy to accept the transactions in bitcoin.I have heard about a news recently that an individual is purchasing a house with the profits he made through bitcoin trading and he is going to purchase the house with bitcoin if i am not wrong.
1384  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: actual number of people using Bitcoin? on: January 29, 2017, 09:21:51 PM
Its really hard to determine the exact number of people using bitcoins as majority of them have multiple wallets with multiple bitcoin addresses so it would be really impossible to know how many exact number of people are using bitcoin and we cannot trust the data over the web as it will be surely an inaccurate one.
You can have an idea if you can understand the number of users in a particular exchange and the trading volume but you can never find the exact number of people and who really cares about figuring out the exact number of people using bitcoin. Tongue
1385  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin in India? Not for a LOOOOONG time. on: January 29, 2017, 09:16:56 PM
It seems to me that we should not be skeptical to the development of Bitcoin in India. This is a very promising country. In addition, the government is forcing people to find alternative ways to store and make money. It provides a basis for the development of cryptocurrency in India
It is true that the government is forcing people to store money in alternative ways and people are finding bitcoin as the new source of investment as evident with the price of bitcoin in India. Demonetisation has changed the concept of people and it will be hard for people to trust in saving their funds in banks with the events that happened a couple of months ago.
1386  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts for Bitcoin in 2017? on: January 29, 2017, 09:12:03 PM
I think bitcoin will more expand in 2017 in compare to previous year because day by day technology as well as human  thought increases.so many people want to earn digital mony .
Huh It is the technology that people are attracted to and this is a new technology to judge the market penetration ,it will reach the masses with time .

i think it will proceed further in the future and it will be more popular in the whole world as in 2016 i am the one in my whole class or campus who know about it.......
but now my all class know about it and most of the people are using it but i think in next  2 to 4 years it will be known to the whole world....
Good to hear that word of bitcoin is heard by the future generations ,but never consider spending time in the forum is the future  Tongue hope that the price and popularity of bitcoin will reach 50 % of the population in 4 years time.
1387  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What does a President Trump mean for Bitcoin? on: January 29, 2017, 09:05:44 PM
John Kennedy was allegedly assassinated by the CIA under the order of Lyndon Johnson, the vice-president of the US then

But I wouldn't completely write off Donald yet. If he has Putin behind his back, the days of his opponents are likely numbered already. Putin was basically nobody when he had come to power in 1999. Russian oligarchs openly despised him. But it was a matter of few years when they all became totally loyal to him while those who didn't got in jail (see the history of Khodorkovsky). That's likely the reason of the hysterics we see and hear in Washington right now. They understand that Putin through Trump will squelch them right into dirt and they got not a single chance
Even if there's not any Putin behind Trump altogether, the very thought of that makes those "career politicians" tremble with fear and horror
The US media is complete bullshit and the US politics is a complete joke for that matter.People elected Trump as president and now they are protesting him, what for,you should have done that when you were in the polling booth.Putin is a strong leader and that does not mean he is a villan as portraited by the media .It all depends upon the policy Trump is going to take and if there is any uncertainty that might make some changes to the price of bitcoin .
1388  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you remember the very first time you sent a Bitcoin transaction? on: January 29, 2017, 08:48:53 PM
I certainly do. It was actually a PrimeDice deposit of a few bucks that later turned into dozens of bucks. It was my first "achievement" and at the same time the first time I ever gambled in my life. I remember the feeling I had when I sent my money, I felt like I just sent a thousand bucks.. Cheesy
That is some what a similar case with me,i started bitcoin because of the ease to send money to gamble once in a while and the first transaction was to direct bet as i was interested in sports gambling at that time and with time i have changed my goals and aims but i still do gamble but transaction delays is a major factor now while playing live games. Angry
1389  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Reason Bitcoin will always be #1 on: January 29, 2017, 08:40:09 PM
Its on top because it got the biggest market capitalisation.
Market capitalisation comes with market penetration and more people are using bitcoin simple because it is the first crypto currency and this enabled people to trade and opened a new market completely.

Bitcoin has given us so many facilities and advantages which are only produced by bitcoin. With bitcoin we can send money anytime, anywhere in the world. We don't need to be worried about holiday or limitation. Also bitcoin protect against identity theft.Transaction fees are very low and bitcoin is tax free.
You can send money anytime anywhere in the world even if you use any other cryto currency and there is no limitations and most alt coins are faster than bitcoin when it comes to transaction time. Tongue
1390  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Filthy scammers, cheats, hackers, thieves, conmen, fools and protestants. on: January 29, 2017, 08:19:43 PM
No protections, irreversible transactions,  gigantic sucker pool...what's not to love if you're a knave?  I try to think the bitcoin user base is more than what's on this forum, but that may be wishful thinking on my part.
The bitcoin user base is more than what is on this forum without a doubt and i know people who are very much active in trading and gambling but not interested or never had an account in this forum ,so it is quite obvious that people come here to scam and spam Cheesy and you can only be scammed if you let them,ICO scams are the worst as they run away with millions and no law would catch them,we need some changes regarding these and glad that some users here are spending time to find scammers.
1391  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Stolen Bitfinex Coins on the Move on: January 29, 2017, 08:00:28 PM
It seems they are testing levels of interest for now. Which are relatively low.

interest here does seem low at that.

i would of figured this would be bigger news. as it stands this thread just kind of dribbles along.

It blows my mind we can have a hack this big and nobody really cares.
It it is that easy to catch the culprit they would have done that already. These hacks cannot be traced that easily and none of the funds that were hacked are not traced till now and so this will be the case in Bitfinex too ,the FBI is investigating the case and i hope they could break open the case ,it all depends upon the hackers skills .
1392  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: January 29, 2017, 07:15:55 PM
It is addictive because it is based on human greed and that can blind judgement so people get ready and play till they have nothing and then they want to try again and again again. Then they are an addict and this about winning all the time and play and play with everything they have.
I call it foolishness and i have seen many people losing a lot of coins in gambling sites because they simply do not know when to stop gambling, greed is the main factor as they simply keep on trying their luck a bit longer than they should have and that is when you lose everything. You have to be a smart gambler rather than an addictive one.
1393  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: January 29, 2017, 06:49:23 PM
Betis ruined your parlay slip that is very shocking to get draw today. Very disappointing to see the game of Barcelona.
Really disappointed to see the match between Real Betis and Barcelona as the referee became the anti hero in this encounter as he did not allow the goal from Jordi Alba and now they are calling for Goal-line technology to be used in La Liga as we have to irradicate these sort of mistakes in the future.
1394  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how to explain bitcoin advantage ?? on: January 29, 2017, 06:20:30 PM
I think you are mixing two things together, Bitcoin related business (Faucet) and Bitcoin economics. I would advise you not to go into faucet business, the economics is not strong again and one bots can attack your business and take all your BTC. Another thing is that $50 is not enough to run a successful online Bitcoin news outlet
The main disadvantage of running a faucet site is that it is not profitable at the moment because you cannot monatize it with google ads and the rest of the ad network are not profitable but you can experiment things if you want to and if you want to succesfully run a bitcoin news website he can run it on his own or he can pay people up and that is when the expense starts as you have to start paying for contents to the writers.
1395  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: January 29, 2017, 05:55:50 PM
Great bowling by Bumrah in the last over. England needed only 8 runs of 6 balls. Anyone who watches T-20 cricket would have told you that it means 99% of the time England will win. They did get unlucky with Root's dismissal though. He was clearly not out but the umpire didnt see the deflection or the noise. I thought T20's have a review per team but I guess they dont. Bumrah bowled 18th and 20th over like a boss. Best bowling I've seen by an Indian bowler in death overs ever.

Edit: In case someone couldnt pick up what I meant, India won the match by 5 runs. Tongue
It was an unexpected win by India,i thought England could win the match quite easily and with 8 runs required off the last over i thought they could win the match without any fuss but the dismissal of Root changed the match and it is really a poor umpiring decision and Bumrah bowled really well to steal the match away from England.
1396  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Giving up gambling is not easy on: January 29, 2017, 04:38:32 PM
It is not so easy to give up on the gamble. People who start once in the game want to play continuously, some want to play for money, others want to gamble for fun. But most people can not quit this job at the end of the day, and when they get home, they go to the computer and check the newsletter and check the matches. The way to gambling is first of all to be reconciled to yourself, and you have to deal with something else, someone might love it, maybe keep it away.
Gambling is not a job in the first place and if anyone finds it hard to quit gambling then you can seek help from your family and friends and more over you need to have a psychology evaluation if you think that you need to have some help. Personally i am a casual gambler and i do set a limited amount of money to gamble per month and if i lose i wont plan to chase that loss instead i would start fresh.
1397  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: More than 50,000 unconfirmed transactions on: January 29, 2017, 04:08:13 PM
It is one of the most complicated arguments in the Bitcoin market right now. For the moment there is no long-term solution for this situation. Increasing the transaction fees will just make a short term solution as that will have some negative impact of the market.  Sad
The transaction delay we are facing is not a new problem and the issue is looming for some time now and you can add an extra fee to jump up the transaction queue and it will create issues at a later stage without any doubt as the transaction fees keep on increasing with time and is not a good news for normal bitcoin users and the core team has to come up with a solution for this issue.
1398  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could bitcoin prevent crime? on: January 29, 2017, 12:42:23 PM
Could bitcoin prevent crime?
I believe Bitcoin transactions via online wallets could prevent crime. People are going to use Bitcoin for legal and illegal transactions, however criminal transactions are susceptible to crime as cash is used for the transaction...which encourages theft. If bitcoin were used for these shady transactions, perhaps with escrow, there would be no opportunity to steal currency - couldn't this prevent crime?
I am certainly not sure about what you are really thinking when you are writing this up ,you mentioned online wallets does that mean online wallet providers ,if it is the other way round then hope you have heard about hacking of bitcoin wallets and exchanges and hope you know that it is a crime where ever you do Tongue, so the fact of the matter is if some one intends to do a crime he will do it irrespective of the currency he is using .
1399  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you know when to stop? on: January 28, 2017, 09:54:02 PM
Gambling is a distraction for me, fill the time when there is no activity. So, I can stop at any time. Sometimes if in the weekend, I spent my time on gambling. But it's time weekday then I quit. I think, the most important is the mind control. When we can control the mind, of course everything will be fine.
You feel like gambling is a distraction and you still go on and gamble which is really not good Tongue if everyone could control their minds then it would be awesome, every gambler thinks that he or she does have control over his gambling but the reality is different,if the case was true then we would see many gambling sites folding their business as everyone starts winning . Grin
1400  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: the easiest way to make a profit from gambling? on: January 28, 2017, 08:03:56 PM
everyone has a different game and strategy. If we look at the game that easily, it is a game of dice look easy to get profit. because I also like the dice game which I think is easy to profit. It's just that you don't get greedy, because ultimately will lose
Even with n number of strategy you wont be able to win in the long run,you can win some if you are really lucky ,other than that you cannot make any profit from dice or any sort of gambling, yes i agree the fact that greed could bust you if you keep on rolling as i have seen people busting badly after having a good run with the dice game.
