561  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: December 07, 2019, 05:48:11 PM
I think the only hope now for the Pakistani team is to forget the past and look forward towards the future. The PSL is the next big thing in the Pakistan T20 league and hopefully many players will find the form back in this tournament and we might also find some new good players.

P.S I will come up with a new PSL thread soon.
PSL was a good initiative and that is the reason Pakistan dominated the T20 format for a long time but now the batsman are lacking confidence and they are not performing and so is the reason they are getting defeated and i hope they next edition will instill confidence in the players and will help finding in form players for the next world cup.
562  Local / Off-Topic (India) / Re: Sundar Pichai becomes new CEO of alphabet! on: December 07, 2019, 04:57:01 PM
Recently Sundar Pichai appointed as CEO of alphabet which own Google along with many companies formerly CEO of google. Its kind of proud moment for Indians but the only sad part is we are exporting the talents to overseas countries why we can't make a Google in India! Roll Eyes
Why don't you take the initiative and start one rather than waiting for someone to start and create and promote world class talents to the world, these people went abroad and made their presence because they did not have any huge opportunities inside the country and so is the reason you see many people migrating to other countries looking for a better future. Sundar Pichai, Satya Nadella, Ajay Banga, Indra Nooyi all are successful individuals holding top positions and they climbed those position with their hard work and determination.
563  Local / Off-Topic (India) / Re: Harrasement and rapes! on: December 07, 2019, 03:50:08 PM
We no need treat someone as human when they raped a girl and burned her alive because its just inhumane. We have to treat them as criminal and immediate justice needed from laws not from the encounter style this only can make people afraid of doing such things.
You cannot consider these criminals as humans but they need to go through the legal process and the jail system rather than taking the law into their own hand by the police officers because if these practices continue you will find many back door encounters if they are having any anonymity and the big problem is that is there is a proof that the criminals caught and displayed by the police are the real person behind the inhuman act.
564  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Recent Icos facts on: December 07, 2019, 03:17:10 PM
There are a lot of Icos ongoing without specific products. I still believe many of them are going to give us a huge adoption in this space. But the problem is many Icos are planning to get investments by providing nothing with a solid scamming exit plan. You won't be able to trace them by reading their WP, Team, activities even company formation. Recently I saw an ICO, they were genuinely working to do something but later they ran away with a bit of raised money. They closed their website, TG group and everything.
This is the same way thousand other ICO scammed their investors, they just make the investors convince that they are working hard to come up with a product and then they will plan the exit when they are able to earn the maximum benefit with their planned scams, i cannot find many projects that survived for a very long time and i used to trust the market in the beginning but then when the momentum shifted when they were not able to deliver in time i knew all these project developers are in for the easy money and majority of them made and moved on with their life and the real looser is the investor.

Can anyone suggest to me how to choose the scam icos ?
Invest in any project that delivers big profit and you can find many in the market Tongue.
565  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Teach me how to fish on: December 07, 2019, 02:28:58 PM
Everyone keeps pointing to trading as the best alternative to earning in this bear market but my past experience about trading was bad and now i am willing to give a try again, can any one give me good guide? don't just tell me to find strategy without giving me any, teach me how to fish
If you are interested to learn about the options trading you can do so and you can even make a profit during the bear market, the risk are higher but you can start trading with a small amount and then there is the age old invest during bear market and sell when you feel that you have earned the profit or you can go for the safe option of long term hold too. If you are good at coding you can create a bot to trade and you can profit with small amounts and keep on fishing and every options has its own risk and spend some time learning before investing money.
566  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: December 06, 2019, 07:08:59 PM
He is already a legend. He will surely score more than others and his average is also good. But dont forget that there are some new younger generation players who have started scoring faster and we may see someone faster than him in near future.
He is playing really well and if he can perform like this for the rest of his cricketing career he will break many records, in this generation Kohli and Smith are the most prolific batsman and Root and Williamson are behind them in terms of consistency.

The match was predictable today as this West Indies team lacks team effort and Indian side was more concrete.
Before the series everyone thought it will be a one sided trashing but once West Indies scored 207 runs it was not an easy chase but then Kohli took the anchor role and stood till the end and won the match.
567  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: December 06, 2019, 05:42:50 PM
By the way, I like the way Kohli finished the match and also the celebration of the winning hit. This guy is a legend although  he still has a long way to go to get his name next to the other legands like Sachin.

There was a time when cricket meant India and Pakistan but now it's only India.
It is true that Kohli is a future legend and for him to be placed in high regard he needs to play consistantly for a longer period of time, the way in which he is playing in all the formats and the amount of runs he has scored indicates that he might surpass many records created by Sachin and his consistency in all the formats is impressive, hands down the best player in this era.
568  Local / Off-Topic (India) / Re: Harrasement and rapes! on: December 06, 2019, 03:38:16 PM
Anyone saw the recent Hyderabad case where a Doctor was raped and killed, it is really horrific and now the news is that the police killed all the four culprits, it looks like an encounter style and for the parents it looks like justice served so that no one will dare to do such horrific deeds if they take them down like that, the law will not do anything for these accused and we have seen that in the past and there is a lot of support for the police officers who carried out the shooting but that is against the legal system too.
So what do think is justice. I am confused on where to support for these horrific crimes, encounter without any trail in a democracy cannot be accepted too.
569  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: December 05, 2019, 05:49:25 PM
Tomorrow the first T20 between India and West Indies begins and i hope it will be a good tournament even without the best West Indies line up in this format as they are experimenting with some young players like Brandon King and Fabian Allen and they will look to impress the IPL auctions too which will help them to help their growth and i hope Sanju Samson gets a chance to play in this series and the return of Bhuvneshwar Kumar after injury and how he performs is a major factor in this tournament.
570  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: December 05, 2019, 05:24:29 PM
Normally the pace bowlers use their towel (or even their trousers) to scratch the ball on one side and then apply their sweat to make that side heavier. This is an open secret and till now no bowler was penalized for doing this. The question is if using the towel is perfectly legal, then how we can say that using sand-paper is illegal? As far as I know, there is no rule which specifically states so.
The bowlers usually use towel and even spit and other tricks to change the shape of the bowl and usually the fielders used to throw the ball on the ground for no reason to change the shape of the ball and that trick is no longer accepted as they will get a direct warning but you cannot use an outside object like a sand paper to change the ball and it is not accepted as these tricks can change the results and it cannot be accepted, the match should be between skills and not about who has the best tricks to win the match.
571  Economy / Economics / Re: From 2020, the sale and custody of Bitcoin will be allowed to all German banks on: December 05, 2019, 04:51:35 PM
This must be one of the positive consequence of adopting European union's recent money laundering directives. It seems as per those directives, German laws now may start supporting cryptos as an asset. Still, European countries are not ready to declare bitcoin as a legal tender like how Japan did some 3 years back itself. I believe Swiss government may do that first among Europe countries.
The German banks have the permission to sell and hold bitcoin but i cannot find any by law that says it will be considered as a legal tender, it might be considered as a commodity and if the government gives the permission to use bitcoin as a legal tender then it will be a huge news for the market and it will reflect in the market and i am still waiting for more news about the recent development.
572  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: December 05, 2019, 03:58:43 PM
Well.. I enjoy watching pacers such as Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins destroy the opposition with their raw pace. It is no less entertaining than watching an innings from Virat Kohli or Rohit Sharma, where these same bowlers are thrashed all over the park. During the old days, watching Shoaib Akhtar running up to bowl was more stimulating than the morning cup of coffee.
I really enjoyed good contest between batsman and bowlers rather than having a one sided affair, if a batsman scores a century when the opponent is bowling really well then it would be a joy to see a battle like that and in the past we used to see battles like these but now a days the format and the rules are batsman friendly even fielding and bowling restrictions and the size of the ground as we all mentioned are getting smaller.
573  Economy / Economics / Re: The Government-Backed Digital Dollar (USD) on: December 05, 2019, 03:02:26 PM
If they want to create digital fiat currency, probably hackers would be the biggest problem.
If the government are planning to release a central coin then they will make sure to test everything and security will be main thing they will take care before release them and hence i will not worry about the security of the coin as it will insured as well even if something happens in the worst case scenario. Do we really need a government backed digital dollar is the main question, to be frank we do not need that as we already have fiat currency that is digital but the real question is are they planning to create a crypto based digital dollar Kiss , i am not expecting that anytime soon.
574  Economy / Speculation / Re: Could Bitcoin increase as in 2017? on: December 04, 2019, 05:32:14 PM
We will see the same kind of % in price rise as seen in late 2017 but it won’t be until possibly 2021, the reduced supply of coins on the market due to the halving in May 2020 will take some time to take effect.
Majority of the investors are expecting this to happen after the halving but my doubt is that is it even possible to have a rally like that, reduction of coins that is available in the market is a fact but you need more investors in the market too, the last rally was made possible because there were many new investors in the market because of the introduction of options market and there was a huge hype and exposure and if we want to see the same rally we need to have that kind of hype and investment pouring in the market.
575  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can one have any expertise in Speculating? on: December 04, 2019, 02:33:30 PM
Some brief thoughts on this subject:
I noticed that speculators often do a lot of speculating. With that said, is it possible to focus on speculating only, reading nothing else but all the speculating topics and then somehow becoming better at speculating than others?
Anyone can form a theory and the meaning of speculation is to form a theory without any evidence and hence everyone can be a speculator and everyone can start their own theory and if millions of people speculate about a certain event, then someone will have a correct prediction.
There is no expertise in speculating as far as i know.
576  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Andy Ruiz vs Anthony Joshua II on: December 03, 2019, 05:43:06 PM
AJ was given a rematch because they have that clause in the first fight. That's why Ruiz have no choice but to follow what he had sign in the contract.
The promoters are smart enough to have all these clauses when putting up a fight they did the right decision to have a rematch because it is important for Anthony Joshua to win this fight and this is an important fight for his career and Anthony Joshua will be well prepared for this rematch and i expect to win this rematch.

But I do agree that if AJ wins convincingly he should give Ruiz a chance for a trilogy. Andy already in Saudi he meet the Saudi Royal family and has media day.
Anthony Joshua should win the rematch and whether he will give Andy Ruiz a trilogy is yet to be seen as he is not an easy fight for anyone in the division.
577  Local / Off-Topic (India) / Re: Vikaram lander found! on: December 03, 2019, 05:08:34 PM
How someone from chennai did this when NASA and ISRO can't find it for months?
Its just possible from LRO orbiter from NASA since they make the pics available to public on their domain.
There you have the answer to the puzzle, since everything is publicly available the people who are enthusiastic about the space study will find time to monitor and investigate everything and that is what happened here, there are many talents sitting outside and this is a prime example, select people because of the merit and not because of recommendation and the system needs to change.
578  Economy / Economics / Re: HSBC Bank to shift $20 billion worth of assets to blockchain-based Digital Vault on: December 03, 2019, 04:04:00 PM
Most probably they will create their own blockchain provided with their own cryptocurrency on which they will have a full control. As a matter of fact these banks are really threatened with bitcoin that has already affected their operations and also taking advantage of the mass that is continuing the use of cryptocurrency. Banks are smart, so new people should too.
To implement blockchain for their banking system to monitor and safeguard everything they can use blockchain to have more transparency and they do not necessarily need to make a currency for those transaction and for a bank to come up with their version of digital currency is not easy as you need the government to implement these and a bank are just safe keepers. 579  Economy / Speculation / Re: Calling top at $16500 (Even Newer!: $2483 bottom 19 Feb 2021 MtGox said so!) on: December 03, 2019, 02:55:49 PM
~snip
Of course I also hope we never break below the 6.4k support, but if we simply look at the facts everything indicates (zigzag ABC correction) that in about 6 months from now, we will be around 5k (more or less, difficult to predict exact prices). Second half of 2020 shouldn't be good either, the correction will hit the market too hard.
Just my 2 cents, let's see in 6 months first, then 12 months.

To be frank i do not believe in charts in the crypto market as nothing will perform like we speculate and here is a market that would go down if you see ten thousand bitcoin being transferred to any exchange then you will see the market going down and in that kind of market what can we predict and expect in the short term but in the long term i am bullish.
580  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: December 03, 2019, 01:01:32 PM
This will be a good contest as India is having a good team and they are looking like world beaters at home and if they are able to perform well in New Zealand and Australia then i will consider their rankings as genuine
In Test matches India is the number one team in the world and if you look at the past trips and the results you will understand that India played and dominated outside the country and the upcoming New Zealand and Australan series will be another challenge but i am sure they will win the series if not draw the matches if the main players are fit to play. In T20 India is ranked number 5 and in ODI they are just a few points below England.
