181  Economy / Economics / Re: Can bitcoin improve the economy of a country? on: May 06, 2017, 09:51:28 PM
I do not understand the purpose of this topic. Why should bitcoin have such a mission or function? Interestingly, as the time passes, you guys are coming up with interesting questions and curiosities...
These doubts do creep up every now and then and that can be said to most of the threads that are coming up these days  Grin ,there is no specific answer for these sort of question because of the obvious reason that there is no specific answer.
@OP if the government accepts and legalize bitcoin then people would start a business relating to bitcoin which would in turn good for the economy as well as offer jobs and in turn improve the economy of a country . Tongue
182  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: May 06, 2017, 09:23:36 PM
This IPL looks like the worst of all seasons. First 49 runs and now 66 runs and almost 30% matches have scores below 140. Cheesy

Winning by 146 runs in T20 will give MI a huge boost in the run rate and they won't leave the first rank from now on. This entire season seems fixed and planned. None of them seem to be taking trouble to win matches except for a few of them. 212 was a huge score but DD was not in the mood to chase them from the beginning. With this, DD's chance of qualifying is ruled out. Kings XI now have to compete with SRH for the 4th position.
It is really difficult to predict the shorter format of the game ,some times a team chase a score of over 200 and on another day they fail to chase below 150,RCB and Mumbai has being consistent and gave good return to the gamblers as RCB was consistent in losing all the matches while Mumbai was winning the matches. 183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ethereum a threat to BTC??? on: May 05, 2017, 08:50:52 PM
Ethereum is not a threat to bitcoin ,as bitcoin is more secure and decentralized ,but Ethereum is a pre mined coin and the scalability is still a big question as well as the security. If you are talking about the price then you still cannot compare with the giant price of bitcoin. So no coin is in existence to threat bitcoin.
184  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 211: Miocic vs Dos Santos info and Prediction Thread on: May 05, 2017, 07:01:11 PM
Im not comparing Ronda to Klitschko , im just pointing out at how stupid the UFC is when they give people that are obviously overrated and living from former fights, straight title shots. After being beaten by Holm in such spectacular fashion, Ronda didn't have the right to demand a title fight straight away. But since Ronda is a cash cow, they gave her a title fight, and now her career is over.
If shes back, there's no way she can ever come back and fight for a fight title without beating some people up first.
Ronda was winning fights when she had the momentum and the confidence and once she started taking everyone's praise on her head she thought she was invincible and she lost her focus in improving her talents when the rest of the women's division improved and she even forgot her core strength which is Judo and she never had a plan B when she found it is difficult to take Holm down in the first fight, she got the rematch only because she is Ronda Rousey and UFC messed up her career.
185  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WARNING:network under Massive spam attack. on: May 05, 2017, 06:48:59 PM
Spam attacks have always been around... even if we HF to 2M, 4M or 8M, OR Segwit gets activated, these attacks will still come. Nothing to worry about.
There are more investors and transactions per day and it has increased a lot after 2017 and with Japan recently legalizing bitcoin the amount of transactions has increased rapidly and on top of that we have these spam attacks to frustrate everyone as it is really taking a long time to get a confirmation ,if they activate segwit then there will be a temporary solution but not certain what the long term implication will be as you cannot roll  back once you activate segwit.

It's the matter of team's honor now, RCB lost badly in this tournament and they don't wanna take loses to next one too. They'll definitely try and kill KXIP's dreams..
The dismal performance continues for RCB,one of the worst teams in this tournament,i really thought they could easily win this match at least and made a $1k bet on very low odds after seeing a modest score to chase and it looks like i made the worst decision possible as they are struggling at 73 for the loss of 6 wickets and there is no way they could win this match .

EDIT: That was fast - yes I also have the 'complete error'
I assume everyone has this same error, when withdrawing from Polo.
Can someone confirm when he gets his coins from Polo?
I was able to withdraw my coins from Polo but i had to wait for a couple of days to get the coin in my new wallet. But i did requested the withdrawal before polo disabling the withdrawal process but still it took a couple of days to get through. Now i am holding the coins for the long term because of the price disparity from what i acquired.
188  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 211: Miocic vs Dos Santos info and Prediction Thread on: May 04, 2017, 07:41:54 PM
Just look at what happened at the Ronda Rousey fight, she came back after her defeat with Holm, then got destroye again for the title fight. It was ridiculous and a shitshow. Indeed those fights make the UFC feel like WWE. But at least they give us the fights that people want to see. The HW boxing division has been a mess for the past few years, we didn't got the fights we wanted, and Klitschko brothers were too dominant anyway. It was not until we got other skilled fighters with a good reach that we started seeing better fights. They just had too much advantage due their height + skill.
Let us not compare Ronda Rousey against the Klitschko brothers, look at the age of Wladimir Klitschko he is 41 years of age and a lot of boxing under his belt and if this fight was five years back i am sure the result would be different.Getting punched in the face for this long is not a good thing and reflex will deter with age,Klitschko brothers dominated world boxing and they defeated everyone in their prime and let us see how Anthony Joshua will perform after 40 plus fights.
189  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: May 04, 2017, 07:08:54 PM
Even a score of 200 plus is not safe in this IPL,bowlers were smacked all over the ground and Delhi Daredevils won the match with 15 balls to spare which is really a difficult thing to attain and they might have earned some net run rate with the kind of batting display they showcased and what was interesting is that the Indian players from Delhi played the outstanding match winning innings.
190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: May 02, 2017, 11:41:15 PM
Ethereum came out as most powerful player and is being mentioned an discussed with Bitcoin. Etehreum looks very promising and ready to touch $100 once this storm will slow down little. You have much still to win much from Ethereum in coming months. Just imagine where cryptocurrencies market will be in 6 months time from now.
ETC is the real ethereum ETH is like ethereumhoax ~ sell all ETH buy the real ETC and join the revolution! ;-D thx
Good job trolling, the price of ETC has moved for the first time and you are claiming what others wont dare to say because that is not the fact ,one thing i can accept is that since ETC is pretty cheap compared to ETH, the transaction charges are minimal compared to the other and any projects using ETC must shell out only less fees while transferring. Wink

Your withdraw issue makes sense. I've had this problem with AMP when people were withdrawing it to swap to RHOC.
The way exchanges work is they don't have all the coins in hot wallets. Only like 20% or less. So when people all withdraw to bittrex today the wallet gets emptied and they have to refill it.
You should be able to withdraw again soon.
This is a good sign that the wallet got emptied. It means holders would rather keep their XMG and moved it off poloniex instead of selling it.
Never thought like this, but it makes real sense and may be so is the reason they are holding the withdrawal process even though they are telling to withdraw the coins ,may be they thought that people would sell the coin rather than withdrawing when they see that the coin will be delisting ,but it is a blow as Polo is one of the major exchanges which has more volumes than the rest of the exchanges.
192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you see alts have chances against Bitcoins? on: May 02, 2017, 10:38:52 PM
What is good with alt is they can correct what bitcoin lacks in their implementation. I think, if there is an altcoin that can avoid the problems that bitcoin is facing right now, that coin can become the next bitcoin.
It would take a lot of years for any altcoin to gain what Bitcoin has now (reputation, adoption, price, etc.). I admit that there are quite a lot of great altcoins, but for me, if Bitcoin were gone for good, I would lose any interest in the digital crypto currency world.
If bitcoin were to disappear that will be an event that will be very traumatic the the world of crypto, since I’m sure many people will just keep investing and trading but there will be other people like you that will get out of crypto forever and that will not be good for the prices of all the altcoins.
How would a decentralized block chain based ledger system disappears just like that.It is just speculation after speculation without really understanding what bitcoin is and how it is functioning ,you have to wipe out the entire internet to make bitcoin disappear .So lets not talk about that.Does alt have a chance against bitcoin,i am not sure these alts are competing against bitcoin and if they do they wont win the race.
193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TOKENCARD on: May 02, 2017, 10:17:23 PM
It looks like it is a successful campaign and it has reached 166.7k ETH in a pretty short time.Just want to know what all exchanges will be trading this.

How can someone send ETH before the time of the opening? Some one sent ETH 5-8 mins before 16.00 GMT and took all the bonuses....
if this information is correct they will have serious problems...
Even i am confused about how this could happen, but one thing is sure i could see ETH coming in even before the opening time ,so we need to hear from the developers what really happened before speculating anything,it is not fair to get any unfair advantage when there is bonus involved.
194  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: May 02, 2017, 09:48:54 PM
Pakistan are in a pretty strong position at 200/3. Azhar Ali is still unbeaten and looks set to score a century here.
West Indies are only a pale shadow of their former selves.
Pakistan just lost their wickets in quick succession ,Misbah-ul-Haq just lost his century by one run, Azhar Ali scored his century but despite these two performance they did not have any major contribution which restricted them scoring a big score and West Indies just trail by just 41 runs ,since West Indies does not have a big batting line up it is a matter of time Pakistan just wind them up.

Well I mean that you should mention it somewhere. The rule is OK.
They should have announced before implementing new rules but it is a good one and every gambling site should follow this to get rid of faucet hunters Grin I do open new account when ever i roll in Prime dice because i hate going back to an account even if i win big or loss ,so i really do not bother about faucets in the first place.
198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Any legitimate coins in the $.001-.2 range that haven't been already pumped? on: April 26, 2017, 12:12:49 PM
I second the motion. I also believe that there are strong team behind Exscudo and in fact am promoting it now on Twitter and Facebook to get some share of the announced bounty. I am expecting that after the ICO stage, the price would climb steadily and that devs would be careful not to make that infamous pump/dump/run kind of thing. There are so many coins being introduced but only a handful of them will survive by next year...we have to be careful.
It is really hard to predict whether every ICO's are legit even if they have a established team,if you look at ICONOMI they had a pretty decent team behind them and they had a good promotional run and they collected a lot of money and on hitting the exchanges everyone got their returns but till now they did not deliver the project as planned ,so if you are looking for a mere profit then getting into a good ICO is more than enough but you have to be careful about a long term investment in these .
199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price soaring. Are you going to move some BTC into ETH? on: April 26, 2017, 12:06:29 PM
Lol, there is no way you'll have a chance to scoop up ETH around $20-25, let alone $4-5  Cheesy. That would mean the market cap will half. so 2 billion $$ would've been taken out.
There is no way that is going to happen, it's only growing, slowly but surely. I'd recon $70-80 by summers end.
You'd be stupid if you take your money out of ETH now, it's the biggest crypto platform with by far the biggest support.
Let us assume that ETH as a contract is soaring and having a good time with all the new projects are using them as a platform but it is not a real currency to begin with and with the ETF talks reappearing again i will not let go of my coins for any contracts and that is the bottom line.

Bad luck RCB. Before starting this tournament, RCB had more rating and odds also favourable to RCB. But now they are in the criticle condition they must win all games to reach semis is this possible?
You must be a die hard fan of RCB, if you look at the performance of the team you really wont tell that they are just unlucky ,yes they could not play yesterday because of rain but the rest of the matches they lost pretty badly even with a strong batting line up,so it is not bad luck it is simply bad performance.
