424  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your biggest bitcoin regrets? on: January 22, 2017, 11:28:04 PM
my biggest regret is that I did not join the Bitcoin world sooner. I had known Bitcoin for a year and a half before I started to use them. It is really sad you know. If I had joined the Bitcoin world sooner, I would have obtained more than 100 bitcoin right now Sad poor me
That would be everyone's regret in this forum. The people who adapted bitcoin earlier made a good fortune with the amount of coins they collected during the initial stages and that cannot be replicated ,so accept the fact and moving on is the only solution here.
425  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it possible to hack your bitcoin from your wallet? on: January 22, 2017, 11:22:03 PM
No it is not possible to take someone else bitcoin from their wallet without password
How about installing a back door and collect their key strokes and then hack the bitcoins from their wallet. It is possible to do so if you system is not secure. So always use a secure system if you are dealing with bitcoin.
426  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I looked for three days, $120? on: January 22, 2017, 10:57:09 PM
Congrats on your winnings. I am not familiar with the site you mentioned and i am not seeing good reviews from the members over here but to be frank gambling is all about luck at that particular time and always get out at the right time if not house edge would consume your money.
427  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do America and England follow bitcoin? on: January 22, 2017, 10:40:07 PM
It is said that strong states in cyberspace such as the USA and England are following the bitcoin. Is this true?

yep
as for user adoption.. UK and US are the power houses.
..developing countries are well behind and struggling due to things like tx fee's pricing them out of seeing utility in it (a tx fee can be a couple hours labour in some developing countries)

as for mining.. asia and europe are are power houses.
..western countries just cant afford the cheap manufacturing of asics or the cheap labour and cheap electric to beat the east

as for services, merchants.. US, canada and europe are the power houses.
.. again eastern/southern countries cant afford the utility of buying things with it due to fee's
what kind of transaction fees are you talking about. Is transaction fees such a big issue now a days.It might be an issue years down the lane but not right now as you can send your coins with minimal transaction fees but the amount of time it would take to get the transaction through is really huge as it is taking hours to confirm the transaction.
428  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Really The Future Of Money? on: January 22, 2017, 08:44:08 PM
i believe it with all my heart. bitcoin will be a non-alternative currency in the future. unfortunately, today it is not fully known. but has lost nothing of its popularity for 7-8 years. i do not think its value will fall after that.
For a currency to be accepted world wide 8 years is really a very short time and only time will tell how the world is going to take bitcoin as an alternative mode of transaction and the growth in which it gained in this short period is really remarkable .With government regulations and sanctions the world will adapt to the digital ere pretty soon.
429  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Money laundering via BTC on: January 22, 2017, 08:25:25 PM
ofcourse its possible, but thats not what btc is ment for like all the oldschool people think..
I am not sure what old school people think. How is it possible to launder a huge amount of money if it is done through an exchange.

Bitcoin being used to launder money is a media myth.

Like Trump being a nazi.

 Smiley
It is not entirely a myth, but you can send a receive small amount of money without raising a red flag but laundering huge amount of money is literally impossible.
430  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: January 22, 2017, 04:26:58 PM
India lost a close match against England and the match was stretched to the last over and it was a really interesting encounter and at last England winning the match as Woakes bowled the perfect last 4 balls to defeat India.
Srilanka won the T20 match against South Africa with Angelo Mathews played the anchor roll and it was also a very close match stretching back to the last over and South Africa dropped a catch of Angelo Mathews in the last over which would change the result of the match as he struck two sixes in the last over to win the match.
431  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me your predictions about Bitcoin on: January 21, 2017, 10:33:28 PM
First of all the answer to your question in the post.
I think by 2030 or maybe later the price of bitcoin will be 3000$+ or the trend of bitcoin will get over. Now i really don't understand why do people want bitcoin as a currency   i don't know if you are aware but there can be a total of 21 million bitcoin and 14 million is already mined so technically it can't be a currency as there won't be any bitcoins left to distribute and if that happens then calling butcoin next gold won't make any sense
Bitcoin can be broken down to smaller units if needed so do not worry about that part of the puzzle and if that is possible do you think that it can be technically used as a currency.Either way the fact is bitcoin can be broken down to smaller units and with time and price increase we would see much smaller units of the coin.
432  Economy / Economics / Re: What would happen if Bitcoin became a legal currency? on: January 21, 2017, 09:38:02 PM
From the information I have, there are few countries that consider Bitcoin an illegal currency. Moreover, it would not make much difference if a larger number of countries came to declare the currency as illegal, because Bitcoin was designed to function outside the realm of governments, banks or any other centralized institutions.
It is truth. There are few contries dislike Bitcoin and because of that, the governemt decide to forbid Bitcoin. Anyone who has Bitcoin is considered as criminal. Therefore, there are any people using Bitcoin in that country. In my opinion, banning Bitcoin only causes negative effects. If you know how to compromise Bitcoin and the nation economy, that country will be much better
I clearly did not understand everything what you said here but to tell you the fact the government can ban a bitcoin exchange in the country but that does not mean that they can bar you from using bitcoin and exchange it in a foreign exchange and then transfer the money to your local account.
433  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you store your bitcoins? on: January 21, 2017, 08:37:00 PM
I am using Electrum lightweight wallet right now, I don't know if it's the best option but I think its lot faster than Bitcoin core.
You don't need to download the entire file and store it in Bitcoin core if you are a casual bitcoin user ,Electrum wallet is more than enough for you to store your coins but make sure the system is not infected with virus or any other malware and the best practice is to store your coins offline .

435  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 0.05 btc to 0.52btc to 12 BTC to 15 BTC to 17.5 BTC [BUSTED] on: January 21, 2017, 12:01:36 AM
-snip-
Wow you're so lucky man Congrats to you, can you give me some tips or strategies to win thanks.
He was very lucky in 2 days ago, turned 0.05 btc into 17.5 btc just in 2 days. If you read some of people's and OP post on above you will know how he made it. but sadly, today he was so unlucky and lost all of his winnings
that was sad He should withdraw all his Bitcoins if I were him.
That was the main problem ,it was not you gambling and started this thread and so is the reason you did not lose the money  Tongue. What if he won 100 btc instead of losing it,people would congratulate the person, gambling is all about luck and he should have booked his profit and keep the rest for gambling rather than busting everything.Hope he will learn a good lesson from this loss.
436  Local / India / Re: Unocoin Delay on: January 20, 2017, 11:27:16 PM
Were you told the reason why did it took so long for them to transfer and also why they were not able to transfer to your old A/c and required a new A/c to transfer the amount. Better late than never but its a bit concern now if it takes above a week to get money

Nope, no reason communicated. Changing my service provider to Coinsecure now. Unocoin could have handled this scene more gracefully.
Unocoin had a toll free number where you can communicate if there is any issues with your account and by reading your thread i did not see you doing that ,why dont you try contacting them through their toll free number and settle the issue as you wont be able to see their response from the unocoin team till now in this forum.
437  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To Gamble or To Invest? on: January 20, 2017, 09:03:23 PM
I have experienced a great deal of loss gambling my funds in Yobit just yesterday and I think twice after that. What if I just invested it. Problem is we just tend to realize it when everything is lost. So, it would be better to start off with investment and if you are really the gambler type just use the profits that you have made from that investment. This could also be the start of minimizing the gambling addiction.
I do not even know whether yobit is a probably fair site to gamble in the first place they are neither an exchange nor a gambling site and you are really bold enough to wage your bets in their not so transparent dice game is simply gutsy. If you have a problem with gambling find a good gambling site in the first place  Cheesy what ever may be investment is the best way to go if you are not an addict .
438  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling loses and wins on: January 20, 2017, 04:13:46 PM
Last week, I won 87 EUR. I gambled on multiple sport betting, usually I prefer betting on soccer games and tennis, and I do put only 10 EUR. It's one of my best thing in the start of the this year 2017. Generally, I don't stake so much as the same time don't cross the barrier of 20 EUR.
Sports gambling is the best way to gamble to increase your coins when you are looking to increase your coins through gambling but you must have a specific target and goal and have a control over your amount money to be wagged at a particular time,if you have everything in control then you will win some you lose some and that is how gambling works as you really cannot predict every outcome of a match.cricket, football and tennis are the games that i follow and 70% of the time i will win.
439  Economy / Gambling / Re: DirectBet – LIVE Sportsbook & Racebook. Now Accepting Ether ! on: January 20, 2017, 05:18:22 AM
What happened to India Vs England match as i am not able to see the live betting option as i want to wage a bet for the match.

In-Play betting for this match was suspended earlier than usual, sorry. I apology for the inconvenience caused.
Even i was surprised when i could not see the in play betting during the match as this is my favorite sports book to gamble ,is it because directbet had more bets than usual for the match so that you suspended the in play bet or any other reason.
