441  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is CHINA CONTROLLING Bitcoin? on: January 08, 2017, 11:53:30 PM
... So no one should be whining about someone else's success when they are in a fair contest with them.

... You can do something to get something.

Thank you for derailing this bitch-fest by injecting some sanity to the discussion.
That is the fact as no one is holding anyone from doing anything and anyone is free to enter or invest in bitcoin or bitcoin mining and now everyone is whining over china trying to control the entire market is just bullshit. They are the biggest investors and so they can influence the price .
442  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: January 08, 2017, 11:35:35 PM
I also agreed that both teams to score would be a good bet. Didn't thought Barcelona would have such a hard time scoring a goal.
I know Villarreal has the best defense in Spanish League, but even having some bad results, Barcelona still has the second best offense in the league, almost like Real Madrid.

But Villarreal in the home ground is very strong and their defense is also very good , that is the result that they kept pressure from starting and scored a goal but last min goal from messi saved Barcelona if not they would have seen second defeat against villarreal 2nd time
Messi was the stand out player from saving Barcelona on having a back to back defeat in away games.Villarreal played really well and they really had some chances to score goals and they really dont like accepting goals which made things difficult for Barcelona .
443  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bear Market Ahead? on: January 08, 2017, 11:25:35 PM
Seriously, is there ANY reason to cash out your BTC to invest in fiat? LOL
There is no enough reason to cash out your bitcoin to invest in fiat since there are no real world good investments which would give the same amount of profit like the bitcoin market and with the regulations all over the world people tend to find bitcoin as a source of investment and i do not think a bear market is not a possibility at this juncture.
444  Economy / Speculation / Re: Manipulation finished. Bubble popping. on: January 08, 2017, 11:18:54 PM
I am sure the price will recover and would cross the $1000 in due time. There are being a massive sell off without any doubt and since the market is really fluctuating and the price range is now between $850 and $950 and i do not think that i will go down further.
445  Economy / Speculation / Re: Periodic shakeouts, parabolic rise forming on: January 08, 2017, 11:02:36 PM
I really could not understand what these periodic shakeouts and parabolic rise are and i am finding it difficult to understand these terms as i am not well versed in commerce i guess Wink but the prediction of $10000 in this year is an optical illusion but really good to see this hypothesis.
446  Economy / Speculation / Re: What has affected the price of Bitcoin? on: January 08, 2017, 10:50:32 PM
When demand increases price also increases.

And do you think that the demand has now decreased with the decrease in price . Huh Grin

But the value is now decreasing right. This is also happening due to now holidays and Christmas was end. This is simply we are having in every year. Simply supply and demand making this stock costlier and cut off the value.
Normally during December price do spike like this and the rally it had from $800 was astonishing as it was the first time i am witnessing it and it went over $1200 and with the recent rumor and news from china a massive sell off is expected and that is what is happening now.
447  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Can Hit $2K ? on: January 08, 2017, 10:39:54 PM
Bitcoin USD exchange is increasing speedy and What you guys think? End of 2017...It'll Hit 2K ?
2,000 USD dollars is a big joke it can't be hit on the speculation of $1,500 Dollars it might be fall from the bottom investors bee ready for the big down comming it always happen when bitcoin hit big price every December it always down to next month or next next month. It can't continue increasing.
It is not a big deal to touch the price of bitcoin to 2000 dollars and even in this recent rally the coins reached 1200 dollar within no time and so the possibility of reaching 2000 by the end of this year is a real possibility as there are more regulations coming when it comes to regular investments which would really aid bitcoin.
448  Economy / Economics / Re: How many BTC will make you a fiat millionaire in 5 years? on: January 08, 2017, 09:28:50 PM
I think we must have at least 100 Bitcoin if we ever want to be a millionaire in the next 5 years. Bitcoin prices slowly increase every year so I think the highest prices it can reach per 1 bitcoin is 10000$. Anyhow, investing money in bitcoin is still the best option right now. In the future, I think the situation will change and we need to buy other cryptos if we want to be rich again
getting your first bitcoin is the hurdle if you are planning to accumulate the coin from different sources and if you are planning to invest in bitcoin and a good initial invest is what is needed to multiply the coins you have in your arsenal since bitcoin being a high volatile market it is without any regulation at the moment you can really maximize the profit within a year and the target of 100 can be achieved pretty soon. But the question is will bitcoin be worth 5 years from now.
449  Economy / Economics / Re: Holdings of gold vs Holdings of btc on: January 08, 2017, 09:24:47 PM
i think the people interested is changing from time to time. in previous time people were taking interest in gold. but now the interest of people is changing and they are now showing interest in bitcoin because they want to make some extra money.
Interest in physical gold is really a different thing, people interested in gold will still purchase gold no matter what and bitcoin is a new platform where you can make a good amount of money with the possibility of multiplying your assets in a very short time and bitcoin was the best mode of investment for 2016 without any doubt .
450  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling should be considered as a Sickness!! on: January 08, 2017, 09:03:23 PM
Gambling will be considered as sickness only when the losing aspect of an individual  has turn him to something else and he is still not willing to stop then that is a big time sickness but that will not be said if an individual is making some money in gambling, will that also be said to be sickness? Anyone who can handle the pressure whether loss or win in gambling should go into it and just know the right time to stop.
As long as he is having the bank roll people will come back to make up for the loss and these things continue until you lose everything and this is basically what gambling is,the house edge will swallow you if you keep on wagging more thinking to reclaim the loss,as long as you are having a level head it cannot be considered as sickness.
451  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: January 08, 2017, 08:44:52 PM
If there is some strategy that actually works then there will be no one that wants to open up a gambling sites as most people could potentially break the house
I'm not sure about this, still I'm having a doubt that gambling houses keep updating their codes based on behaviours and activities of gamblers. Because, not all the time and all the gamblers will be unlucky to face only losses. But, unfortunately in long run every gamblers turn losers, I guess it will be possible only with dynamic or versatile coding system.
I am not an expert on how they code gambling websites but i felt that some of the gambling sites are really shady to be frank may be because i have lost some coins even with 2x dice because when you deposit a couple of million doge and start rolling with 1 doge base bet and multiplier by 2 on loss and if you still bust i really do not think that its a fair game ,online gambling is not profitable in the long run without any doubt, unless its sports betting its fine.
452  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: actual number of people using Bitcoin? on: January 08, 2017, 07:38:59 AM
You're right, if we can convince more people to use Bitcoin everyday like currency then the speculators will get what they want - a continuously rising price that's stable. If Bitcoin had any kind of large daily user economy that was constantly growing it would be almost impossible for the exchange rate to not continuously rise and these $2-3-4 hundred dollar "corrections" to the exchange rate would disappear. It would be devastating to the world economy if the value of the dollar could lose or gain 40-70% overnight. No business in the world would be willing to sell anything for dollars.
I am not too certain that bitcoin was meant to be a everyday currency like dollar i would like to see bitcoin more like an asset ,if people starts accepting bitcoin in stores at the end of the day people will be looking for fiat and that in turn means a massive sell off  Grin ,joke aside you could not really define the amount of people using the coins but you can determine the amount of transactions made  Wink

That is a consequence of free market. Each one can do what he wants with his money. There is the possibility to hold BTCs, to convert to fiat anytime... I want to see BTC like a currency, being used to buy things on the internet, and it will be very useful when online shops start accepting this. If Bitcoin is used only as an asset I think it's not so interesting, the Bitcoin purpose is another. I estimate the currently number of Bitcoin users in 2-3 millions, considering an average of 3 addresses or something like this per user.
I am sure 3 addresses per user is just ridiculous to estimate and with the amount of bitcoin exchanges and gambling sites around most of the traders and high rollers have atleast a couple of hundred addresses and atleast a dozen wallet address for offline storage and that being the case in reality you can never estimate the real number of users and bitcoin as a currency for online transactions is the safest way to do business than with a credit card.
453  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins Investment: risk or benefit? on: January 07, 2017, 11:45:44 PM
bitcoin is more of a benefit than risk Tongue
Yes i can understand the risk factor with a simple line of msg  Tongue

Bitcoin investment is always we have 50 50 chances don't know when the price will increase and when it falls. The only thing you need to be very accurate when you invest in bitcoin, you need to keep an eye on when it increases at that you can sell them at higher price in this way you will make profit.
Every investment has its risk and bitcoin is the market where traders thrive because the market is conducive to day trading with the massive changes you could make a really huge amount of money ,i am not sure about the possibilities of a long term investment but the market is ripe for trading regularly and with the volatility it has it is the best form of investment in terms of returns .

455  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When did you begin using Bitcoin? on: January 07, 2017, 11:31:02 PM
Started using bitcoin late 2015 as members started requesting accepting bitcoin payment and it took a while to understand what really is and how to accept these as a mode of transaction and really late i found this forum .
456  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: About Collision on: January 07, 2017, 10:35:13 PM
quantum computing is not some outer space wormhole, time twisting theory.
its simply instead of using the old binary 2option switch.. its using more than 2 options.
eg not 0 volt=0 1volt=1.. its 0v=0  0.33v=1   0.66v=2   1v=3  its as simple as that.

its about if and maybe.. aswell as yes no / on off / true false
To be frank franky you are just awesome and i really do like the kind of explanation you give for each and every reply of yours,i really never understood what quantum computing is all about but knew it was really fast ,but this explanation was swift hope you are in the teaching profession .
And for the OP collision is a possibility because bitcoin addresses are generated randomly but the chances are really slim lets say about 1.6225928e+32 chance that to happen. Smiley
457  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "We got hacked" coming ! on: January 01, 2017, 07:40:35 PM
i am afraid if that mtgox inncident was  agai happen i dont wanna see many people suciding and all. in addition to that the price fell so fastly that it distturbed the whole network but at least it didnot reached lower than $200
The price is about to cross the thousand dollar mark and i hope there is no more incident like the Mtgox or the bitfinex hack this time around to start the bear run and if the bull run continues we could see another rally which could break new grounds with this run,i do not want to hear a hack news once again.
458  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 207: Rousey vs Nunes Prediction and Info Thread on: January 01, 2017, 05:23:54 PM
I was so shocked about how poor Rousey was, she really was destroyed. Is she finished as a true champion?
Ronda Rousey was really not focused on returning after her defeat as she is really hurt mentally and physically by the defeat she faced against Holly Holmes and if she really wanted to fight she would not take a long break like this and keep on hiding all this while and even during the fight week she was not willing to face the camera's which says it all, i think she will retire after this defeat.
459  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "We got hacked" coming ! on: January 01, 2017, 05:10:48 PM
the users of these exchanges must take some action against them, they should start asking for insurance, and other ways to make sure their money is in safe place. just the fact that an exchange has been around and has a high volume is no guarantee any more. and it seems like these users are forgetful of what has happened so far to exchanges!

I am sure someone registered a case with the FBI when Bitfinex was hacked and some individual lost $1.3m and the last time i checked the FBI was investigating the case and i do not know what the current situation is but it all depends upon individual users filing cases and majority of the time they could not do anything as most of them are untraceable .
460  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin had a stable price, would it still be as popular? on: December 31, 2016, 11:52:47 PM
maybe, but even bitcoin being popular as the way it is,,tbh Gold is more valuable. need a mores reason to make Bitcoin as stable currency.the point is,,Bitcoin just likes a Season,,
I think the view of most users who rely on bitcoin prices to make a profit, they are very dependent on fluctuations to get untun everyday, of course, if the price of bitcoin becomes stable. a lot of users will abandon bitcoin right?
Many speculators would stop trading in the market, but that does not mean they would stop using Bitcoin. They could simply choose to use Bitcoin to send a payment to someone, or to store value, since, until now, Bitcoin has not disappointed most of the people who held the currency for the long term.
Even with a stable price bitcoin would be this  popular and speculators would not stop trading as you think. The profits may decrease but the interest and the gains are much more greater than simply sitting idle and so it would be cool if the price was a bit stable but i wont happen with volume of trade we have.
