I guess i know what's causing this, will fix it in next ver. You guys get a job timeout before this, am i right? Are you setting it manually in pools config? If not, can you try to put "job_timeout" : 900 , that is 15 minutes, and test to see if you still get timeouts and invalid job rejects? If no timeouts i will know this was the problem thanks example: pools.config{ "pools" : [ {"pool" : "xmr-eu1.nanopool.org:14444", "wallet" : "4A5hJyu2FvuM2azexYssHW2odrNCNWVqLLmzCowrA57xGJLNufXfzVgcMpAy3YWpzZSAPALhVH4Ed7x o6RZYyw2bUtbm12g.donation", "password" : "x" , "job_timeout" : 900} ] } I was getting rejected shares with the new miner with normalv7 (I was mining heavy with the previous miner so can't comment if this is specific to the new miner). Never noticed the job timeout option. Tried it with 900 and I see no rejected shares in the last 6+ hours.

Hey doktor83,
I see that I need to run the miner with 60 intensity and then 56 with Vega. This miner seems faster than Cast XMR for Vega and even other cards to an extent. To make things easy, I have automated the 60 and 56 intensity config loading at startup using Startup delayer as follows:
1. At startup after a few seconds run Devcon to disable Vega. 2. Enable Vega after a few seconds. 3. Run the miner with the 60-intensity config file. 4. After 35-40 seconds, close the miner with pre-recorded actions with Tinytask by sending Ctrl+c and Y keys to the miner. I tried the taskkill command to close the miner but the miner expects you to send Ctrl+c first and then Y. 5. Wait till the miner closes and then run another batch file which calls another config file with 56 intensity.
My question is, is it possible for you to provide an option within the miner to load a config with 60 intensity and after X seconds load another config with 56 intensity?

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: The most profitable altcoin to mine on CPU

You might wanna try Verium. It's CPU only and GPUs can't be used to mine this coin. The only problem is the minimum withdrawal on pools. You may have to wait for months before you receive your first payment unless you have a CPU farm. You can also Solo mine Verium but it seems the difficulty is a little too much.
As others said, Cryptonight is one of the best algos for CPU mining as GPUs do not have too much advantage over decent CPUs, especially the AMD ones. Look for Cryptonote coins with less network hashrate and mine them.

btc-alpha is no better. My 71 BBR that I sent from my local wallet is stuck for three days. Raised a support ticket and awaiting fingers crossed.
BTC-Alpha's operator is working to resolve the issue. As long as your BBR is showing as a confirmed tx on the explorer then its on your Alpha wallet, it's just not showing up on their system. Stocks had a similar problem and they ended up crediting accounts for the correct amount of BBR. As far as trading engine goes, Alpha's engine is much more advanced than stocks. Sometimes it takes 2 minutes to execute an order on Stocks whereas Alpha it's near instant. You can't really compare the two when it comes to execution speed, charts or order depth functionality and this is why I funded the listing fee there. As a rule of thumb when sending any crypto to any service, try sending a small amount before sending a full amount to make sure it clears on the other end. I sent 1 BBR first and it got credited. I then sent the rest and I'm still waiting for it. And yes, btc-alpha is better, especially when it comes to trading.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Why GTX 1060?

With Ethash, the GTX gives 24.x MHs compared to 27 of the RX (without the BIOS mod).
You'll only get 24.x MH/s from 1060s if they come with Samsung memory. And these days it's becoming a rare sight, more and more of them come with Hynix or Micron. If you get Hynix, then they're basically useless for ETH mining, because at ~ 20 MH/s max you're better off just mining other coins with them. I have Zotac cards that come with Samsung memory. And Zotac is cheaper than most other brands.

One of the main reasons most people get GTX 1060 is because of its availability and price compared the RX and other cards. With Ethash, the GTX gives 24.x MHs compared to 27 of the RX (without the BIOS mod). But the GTX consumes much less power than an RX. It does not perform well with the Cryptonight algo (550 H/s vs 750+ H/s) as well. Apart from these two algos, the GTX card performs similar to or better than the RX. AMD cards vanished from the market four months ago when Eth was the most profitable to mine. Now, the profitability of all alt coins is evened out and GTX 1060 strikes a best balance between hashrate and price. I have 2x GTX 1060 and 3X RX480 on the same rig with two 750W PSUs. I can see that the two GTX cards are much more energy efficient.
