341  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you store your bitcoins? on: October 02, 2017, 06:03:13 AM
its pretty obvious. There is only ONE real method to store bitcoins, and that is cold storage with backup.
Dont think you can outsmart the hackers. They have massive computing power available to hack and decrypt you... so just follow my advice, and go cold
342  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Fork 2 ? on: October 02, 2017, 06:02:08 AM
yeah it's true, but dont think so much about it. The forks are not real bitcoins, they are simply altcoins with a headstart. It doesn't matter how many times bitcoin is forked. If no one wants to own those new altcoins, they just wasted their energy.
look at bch, it's one major epic fail.

stick to the real chain!!
343  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Being Unemployed Drives People to go to Bitcoin on: September 28, 2017, 12:35:16 PM
Makes no sense really? Would be easier if they just found a job and earned some normal money and used those to buy bitcoins.

Not sure what your agenda is, but I find it hard to believe the truth in this.
344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡ [ANN] ⚡ DeepOnion TOR Integrated ⚡ No ICO 🚀 FREE Airdrops 🚀 11 of 40 Rounds on: September 28, 2017, 08:54:30 AM
Hi all. Just preparing myself for tomorrows drops. Anything new that I should be aware of. I've tried to read up on the past 30+ pages, but just want to make sure everything is as it should be.

I have a user on the official forum, so that part should be good.

Thanks
345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Another hard fork coming in October. New Bitcoin name is "Bitcoin Gold" on: September 28, 2017, 08:20:53 AM
Why fork again? Come on. Who believes in this forking crap. I think we should all fork the chain and call it something. It gives no value to the coin at all.
Stop the forking, because nobody will accept you.
If you dont have consensus, too bad! The majority has the power.

If you are not satisfied with that, make your own altcoin.
346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Privacy coin that does not get much attention on: September 28, 2017, 07:05:10 AM
The broad adoption of anonymous coins will belong to DeepOnion. The distribution is much wider, thus more adoption will occur!
347  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin really secure? on: September 28, 2017, 07:02:26 AM
It is very secure. With the current technology it cannot be hacked. People are scared of quantum computers in the future, that they can hack the blockchain. This is not going to happen. Once quantum becomes possible, the bitcoin devs will enhance the security to  protect the blockchain.

So just go for it!
348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do Altcoins really have a future? on: September 28, 2017, 06:52:25 AM
yeah of course altcoin has a future. There will be so many blockchains that you can't count them all. Each will have its own niche purpose.
349  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: with bitcoin can I get an island? on: September 28, 2017, 06:44:15 AM
in 5 years you can buy an island for 1 BTC. So just HODL; and stop speculating-. There is no point trying to buy dips and highs. Sooner or later you will be run over, and wish you hodled.
350  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to start trading alt coins? Beginner Tips! on: September 27, 2017, 11:36:06 AM
Bittrex is one of the best exchanges, the best is kraken though. And of course they need to verify your identity, it goes like that for all exchanges. If you wanna be hidden, trade privately.
351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Pump groups ? on: September 27, 2017, 11:26:44 AM
i have been watching several pump and dump groups. Never have a trade been giving me profit. I strongly advice against it unless you are the owner of the group.
352  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: How to design a perfect cold storage? on: September 27, 2017, 07:53:39 AM
It's all really great. But a better solution is to simply just use a warpwallet. With a password of only 5-6 characters it will be impossible to crack. Check out https://keybase.io/warp/warp_1.0.9_SHA256_a2067491ab582bde779f4505055807c2479354633a2216b22cf1e92d1a6e4a87.html
353  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lost around 5BTC in 2013... Time to start again on: September 26, 2017, 10:17:10 AM
Its pretty normal. They estimate that around 1 million bitcoins has been lost forever. This makes the total supply much lower than the 21 million. Thus the value of the coin should be higher.
354  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin just an asset ? on: September 26, 2017, 08:34:25 AM
Bitcoin is the perfect store of value compared to Gold. Gold is just so difficult to transfer, where bitcoins can be transfered in your head! I'm 100% exposed to crypto, and 0% to gold/diamonds
355  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could the Federal Reserve kill Bitcoin? on: September 25, 2017, 09:58:53 AM
Yes they could indeed. Any country could kill bitcoin. It would just be too expensive to justify the result. It's very easy to buy 51% of the network mining power, if you have trillions, and the FED does that. But they still think bitcoin is a gimmick, so they wont spend money on it (yet)
356  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hands up.. robbery. on: September 25, 2017, 08:04:10 AM
With crypto they can't take your coins. They would need access to your wallet which is (hopefully) behind 3 factor authentication. With cash they will just take it.

You can always be threatened to give the coins, as well as with cash as well as with money in the bank. There is no difference.
357  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Amazon gonna accept BTC?? on: September 25, 2017, 07:37:14 AM
Rumors and fake news will always exist. Dont believe anything unless amazon says so. Also imagine the impact it would have on the bitcoin price if it was really the case? Amazon would not be able to sell anything for less than 0.000001 bitcoin
358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡ [ANN] ⚡ DeepOnion TOR Integrated ⚡ No ICO 🚀 FREE Airdrops 🚀 11 of 40 Rounds on: September 25, 2017, 07:28:19 AM
Wow that is well worked out. Can't wait to try out the first transaction. Also great to see the community making such great efforts!
359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DeepOnion Developer Blatantly Ignores Scam Accusations on: September 21, 2017, 12:23:28 PM
Pretty sure we need the scam accusations addressed as it looks 'pretty damn bad' at least PR wise right now to say the least. What is the input from devs?

transactions like this happen on the network every few seconds because ONLY the premine addresses are staking (99.99%). Anyone can inspect this on the blockchain.

On top of that this is advertised as a PoS coin but ONLY crypto-rainbow can stake. What a fucking joke!

SCAM

You are just a sad little man because you got banned for breaking the rules. Why dont you just admit that you tried to sign up for the airdrop with several accounts, and got caught stealing onions??

Stick to the rules, and you will prosper.
Break the rules, and you will get banned.
360  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do some government ban bitcoin? on: September 21, 2017, 12:18:37 PM
Because governments live by controlling the money flow in the country. They do this by getting taxes from transactions. When using bitcoin, they dont get any tax, and they loose control. That's why they hate bitcoin. Untill now they have thought that bitcoin was just a gimmick, but they are starting to wake up, and the fear is showing in their eyes,
