With this link https://deeponion.org/conf_file/DeepOnion.conf it's working :-) thanks

holy shizzles; 6 posts in 3 years and two of your posts today! Is that due to the magic of this coin, or a coincidence?

Welcome back, I guess.

well spotted thang. But he looks very legit. I dont think you can spoof the bitcointalk registration date

Great! The list at that link always fresh if you need again fresh nodes you can visit there again.

why is this needed? i mean, other wallets are able to sync fine. Why do we need to put in nodes manually in the onion client?
Is it because of the TOR network behind it?
583  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with the people who don't like Bitcoin? on: July 29, 2017, 05:56:51 PM
Tell him that you can talk about it again in 10 years. By then the price for 1 bitcoin is $100.000
who is now laughing?
584  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you believe that forking will give you 2 coins worth more than 1 coin on: July 29, 2017, 05:55:57 PM
Let them fork all they want. Who cares. It's good that all their hashing power dissapears from the BTC network, making it more attractive for us humans to mine bitcoins again.
585  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investing before August 1st. on: July 29, 2017, 05:55:02 PM
I am waiting till september. Why?? just to be sure I buy at a steady price. Volatility will increase on august 1st, so no need to gamble more than you want to.
586  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is NOT mathematically limited to twenty one million bitcoins on: July 29, 2017, 05:54:14 PM
The day someone raises the 21 mio limit, is the day that bitcoin will crash in price. SO many will get out at that point because it's the whole idea behind btc.
587  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are holding Bitcoin? on: July 29, 2017, 05:53:02 PM
Why people are holding Gold?

Exactly. And this is the true essense of bitcoin, it's a limited supply that makes it rise in value. Look at 42coin for instance, only 42 coins exists. the price is well above 10.000 USD...
588  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to find lost bitcoins? on: July 29, 2017, 05:51:53 PM
what is a lost bitcoin? no bitcoins can be lost, the only thing you can lose is the private key that gains access to btc at a specific address..... if you change the topic to "Is it possible to find lost private keys", the answer is no.
589  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin is the new era of currency? on: July 29, 2017, 05:50:36 PM
bitcoin is currently the best alternative to fiat currency. Fiat is slowly dying because people can see through it's scammines
590  Local / Skandinavisk / Re: tax on bitcoin profits in scandinavia? on: July 29, 2017, 05:46:55 PM
I was told from a danish speaking person, that in denmark it is like this (example with USD instead of BTC, to make it more clear):
If you buy USD for a trip to USA and when you come back you have some USD left and sell it for EUR again, you do not have to pay taxes if you made a profit with this exchange (buying USD and selling USD). Because you had no intention to make any profit with this.
But if you intend to make profit, you have to pay taxes.

And that is true. If you buy BTC because to intend to make profit, you will have to pay taxes. Practically that means that all businesses that invest in BTC pays tax, but all private persons dont.
It will be impossible to prove in court that you bought the bitcoin to make a profit (unless you just pleads guilty).  No private persons have been sued by the state/tax gov etc. to pay profits of their btc earnings.
591  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: R.I.P Ethereum - The Pre-Mined ScamCoin is dead on: July 29, 2017, 05:42:38 PM
hahaha... all those haters trying to get ETH down. Sorry guys, but ETH demand is rising, and so is the price. Look at all the projects being run on the ETH chain, do you think they will just vanish?
592  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Doge Coin !? on: July 29, 2017, 05:40:59 PM
What do You thinking about DOGE COIN ? Is it worth it to invest ? ? ? Thank You !

dogecoin was started as a joke. For some odd reason the joke never died out. Kind of like nyancat coin... There is no future in dogecoin
593  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New Proof of Space, Proof of Capacity coin? on: July 29, 2017, 05:40:19 PM
Is there any upcoming POS or POC coins? I know Burstcoin exists, and we got Storj and SIA that kind of fall into the POS category, but are there any true POC/S coins on the horizon? I'm mining Burst right now, and it's just frustrating with all the exploits coming up, like pajeet and the blockchain randomly award blocks to people with longer deadlines etc... I was reading about a coin called SpaceMint, but it looks like there hasn't been any news on it in a couple years.

Just focus on Sia and forget the rest. Not sure why you bothered with Burst when you could simply use Sia. Seems now you will pay the price for it.

sia sucks. I had 9TB allocated to SIA, and earned nada because only 100GB was being rented. That makes me earn nada. I changed to BURST, and have allready made more in 1 week with burst, than my entire lifetime with SIA.

SIA HOSTS are not going to win, but the once holding coin will when the demand rises.
594  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dumping Bitcoin Cash after it hits exchanges? on: July 29, 2017, 05:38:36 PM
I'll HODL. There will probably be more supporters of the coin once it settles in. But the price wont be high ever.
595  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any new airdrop coins? on: July 29, 2017, 05:37:37 PM
I think with this week pronouncement by SEC on tokens being a security we will likely see more developers going for Airdrops instead of ICOs, because one thing I notice is that there is no way an ICO will not fall fouls of one of these rules and also exchanges will be more keen to add Airdrop tokens than ICO tokens

do you have some more info on this coin? Know that airdrop and ICO coins are two different things.

BTW check my sig for a nice airdrop coin Smiley
596  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DeepOnion A Scam? on: July 29, 2017, 05:30:28 PM
There are many red flags concerning DeepOnion - in this thread we are going to collect it all.

Please feel free to post posts that were deleted in the DeepOnion thread here.

Thank you and enjoy your stay

whoa.. deeponion is by the far the most legit coin we have seen in the last 4 years. Of course the dev should get some credit for this coin, are you envious?
597  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO is the best way to invest? on: July 29, 2017, 05:29:15 PM
ICO is the worst way to invest. It's basically like putting money into a startup, 99% of them are scams, the rest takes decades to become profitable
598  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In what situation would Bitcoin die? on: July 29, 2017, 05:28:27 PM
How and why would the end of bitcoin (and any other cryptocurrency) occur? Value decrease? Legality issues? Different technology/ideas to supersede it?

There is only two things that can kill bitcoin,
1. someone gets majority of hashing power
2. someone can revert the sha256 algorithm, and find private keys for any public key.
