Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you value Bitcoin ?
|
on: October 10, 2017, 09:49:46 AM
|
I value it based on supply and demand. Right now It's really hard to get bitcoins, so the price is higher. Of all the places I try to search for bitcoins, people are wanting to buy. Very few wants to sell. So value goes up.

There are no fees on cash that's for sure. The 0% variation in exchange rate is not really an argument. Sure if you have 100 bolivar today you also have 100 bolivar tomorrow, but your problem is that those 100 bolivar can no longer buy you anything because inflation screwed you.

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia banning BTC?
|

It doesn't matter if russia bans it, but it wouldn't surprise me. Russia is a communism just like china, so it makes great sense that they want to control their people. It wont matter really, because bitcoin is designed to be unstoppable. It would take all putins wealth to stop it, and I doubt he would use that much money on it. He'd rather buy 10000 more rockets.

Instead of thinking how bitcoin can make you rich, think how you can avoid getting poor with fiat. It's a more realistic mindset. Fiat is going down down down, which is why bitcoin is going up up up

It's the only real way. The alternative is gold which is just........... difficult to hold.
WHen fiat crashes, you wish you had put your money in something safe (bitcoin).

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin money?
|
on: October 04, 2017, 12:18:40 PM

Dont think of bitcoin as money. Think of it as "store of value". In other words, you work day after day after day. All this work results in fiat which you use to buy food/housing/electricity/car/fuel etc. The fiat that you dont use, should be "stored" somewhere. Now come the breaking point, because you want to store it somewhere where it doesn't loose its value. If you put 100 USD in the bank, sure you will have 100 USD the next day, but for each day that goes buy you can buy less and less goods for those 100 USD, and in 10 years or so, you can't even buy a happy meal (over exagerated).
So what do you do? Store the fiat somewhere where it doesn't loose its value, and that is bitcoin.

I dont see the point in this topic. Why would you write such a weird topic? Of course you can buy drugs with bitcoin, you can also buy drugs with fiat. It makes no sense really... step up your game please.!

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why some people prefer Bitcoin over fiat ?

Isn't it obvious? Why would anyone want to hide their financial transactions/income? To be taxed! And in this world where taxes are so super high, it makes sense to go under the radar. Just know that the NSA has been monitoring all bitcoin transactions since 2013, so you will want to use anonimity coins like monero, dash or deeponion.

Im not even going to extract these coins. They can go to hell..... I have my btc in cold storage, and getting the BCH out of them was a pain in the ass, and required creating new addresses etc. So i'm just gonna let the btg rot!
