1  Economy / Economics / Re: each state will create its own token? on: October 24, 2017, 03:56:28 PM
Hello people! As you consider whether each state to create their own tokens? under its currency?
I cannot stop laughing to think of a time when each and every state starts their own token, who will be using those coins ,even now we have more than thousand tokens and it is really hard to keep track with all the coins and i really do think we have to have some regulation on who can start these tokens and start earning money from thin air.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin goes past $5000, what will the Chinese government do? on: October 10, 2017, 05:16:50 PM
after their regulation news i think china already have bought tons of bitcoin when btc price fall to almost 3000$ mark and they are still holding it till now! so the more bitcoin grow the more they will profit! after they sold they are gonna spread another fud to enter again haha
The Chinese government has banned the exchanges and it has nothing to do with the amount of coins purchased with each speculation and fud news, people who does have inside information must be behind all these fake news so that they could make use of the news and manipulate the price,o am sure there will be another news coming out soon since the price has picked momentum.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tipping homeless people with Bitcoin paper wallets on: June 28, 2017, 10:46:46 PM
we need people in the usa, where there are the most homeless people on the planet, who are whales and want to help the cause handing out some paper wallets on a daily basis
I thought US is the land of dreams  Cheesy i am not sure why there are more homeless people in US but i am not sure whether the so called homeless could understand what a paper wallet is,let alone will they understand what bitcoin is,you can hand out fiat rather than giving out bitcoin paper wallets, never complicate things with the poor people, make sure that they can understand what you are handing out rather than doing a publicity stunt. 4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Stellar Lumen airdrop in Polo/Kraken on: June 28, 2017, 10:26:31 PM
I am hearing about these type of air drops for a very long time, actually why are they doing it and what incentives does the team gets for giving out free coins for all the bitcoin holders,i have no clue why is that and basically all the miners will be having a good share when these sort of air drop happens because they are the ones holding more coins.Either way thanks for this thread,i will try to claim my share on August 27.
5  Economy / Economics / Re: You should never trust banks on: June 28, 2017, 10:10:35 PM
The author told which bank had frozen his account and provided some details. Further, banks have been known to lock, block, or otherwise limit access to accounts of even most law-abiding citizens. It doesn't really matter whether you are in a civilized or uncivilized world. You are just very unfamiliar with this matter (a typical case of Dunning–Kruger syndrome). And as a cherry on the cake or jewel in the crown, you may want to read about the Cyprus haircut where money of ordinary depositors has just been taken (read stolen) by the Cypriot government
Just in case, Cyprus is part of the European Union
I am not a very rich man like the OP,but how can a bank hold his funds without any reason,he could approach the legal system to find out the reason behind that and i am pretty sure that he could get those funds back if it is from a legal source, assuming that Cyprus has a good legal system and not corrupted government.
6  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin trading strategy on: June 28, 2017, 10:02:12 PM
Some of my friends that is pro in trading is buying base on the news. Or base on the updates in twitter of the coin you want to trade. And try to join in the community of that coin who dump and pump, some of them say's that when or what price is the best to buy.
Let me tell you one thing, these so called pump and dump groups are just full of shit, they could manipulate some scum coins but they really cannot do anything when it comes to solid coins which have a good volume, the easiest way to go about trading is to look for a entry point when the market is on a bear run and try to grab the coins and i think that is the best option to make a good profit and make sure that you are trading the coins with the highest volumes.
7  Economy / Economics / Re: The legalization of bitcoin. on: June 28, 2017, 09:53:49 PM
In my opinion, the idea is not bad, but it is doomed to failure. All parts of the planet have long been distributed among states and are controlled, and this will already be a violation of rights.
If they collected enough fund they can just buy these pieces of lands and own the rights on that property.  I do not think that this kind of thing will bring a violation of rights as long as all is processed in legal ways.  We do not need to barge in and say we own this land, we can just all act as a responsible law abiding adult and buy land that is owned by other people if they agree.
Every property comes under some form of government ,so it is an impossible task,OP is planning to build an entire township and have his rules imposed other than that what is the real use,if he is the sole habitat in that island, that does not make any sense either. Cheesy There is no restrictions to use bitcoin so what is the problem now,he could accept bitcoin for his business can trade and you can have all the freedom in the world with bitcoin even now.
8  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: PAXFUL.COM ADMIN WILL SCAM YOU OF YOUR BITCOIN ONE DAY, STAY AWAY on: June 28, 2017, 09:44:04 PM
The owner were caught with drug weeks ago in Miami, USA.
I can understand your frustration because they block your account leaving your coins in the site, you can start a scam accusation against them in the proper thread with all the details and hopefully someone from their site could respond to your calls and return back your coins,i am not using that site and so i am not aware of their TOS,but i think these things that i quoted about them are irrelevant for the case we have here. 9  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is Coinbase a safe exchange to work with? on: June 28, 2017, 09:31:32 PM
Good luck trying to track down monero transactions.
I just want to say one thing, good luck converting your Monero to fiat,if you are not converting your digital assets then it is not a big issue, always play by the rules if not you will get into trouble at a later time, you can learn the easy way or the hard way.No government will be able to track any users asset in digital currencies but they will know about your asset once you convert them to fiat and hope RodeoX is telling that.
10  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoins and Bankers on: June 28, 2017, 09:22:54 PM
Right now we haven't got more of the direct bitcoin acceptance. As stated soon we'll have the increased acceptance in stores as well on our needs. This will surely decrease the usage of banks, because now most of the bitcoin users convert the bitcoin to fiat just because they don't get the chance of using it around their locality.
One thing i have to defer here is that even if bitcoin is accepted world wide then there wont be any decrease in the usage of banks because you need both fiat currency and bank to invest in bitcoin or any alt coin,so they will co exist in the future and it will be like that in the future.I am not sure i am able to reply to what OP is trying to tell here. 11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: June 28, 2017, 08:50:47 PM
Yeah this year's champions trophy has been gone like gambling bet. There is positive for South Africa and Australia. They both were kicked out because of rain. If rain does not interrupted.
Australia vs India or Australia vs SF only might happened. Pakistan has got the wind on their side in year hope not for next year.
It is true that rain played a major role in the entire tournament but Pakistan played really well to claim the trophy as well as India always played some good cricket to reach the finals, having India and Pakistan in the finals is a big deal for the ICC because of the revenue they could get from it because of the fan base both the team has.
12  Economy / Economics / Re: If you have a lot of bitcoin, should you spend it or save it? on: June 28, 2017, 08:19:42 PM
If i have  5 to 10 bitcoin  i will convert it into fiat and spend them all. Buy all the needs of family ,start a new business and  live a happy life. Im not a holder  and i only losing  the opportunity if i hold my bitcoins for a long time.
You already said why you wont be holding a few bitcoins. Tongue If your plan is to sell the coins then you wont be able to accumulate for the future, the best plan would be to start investing in promising projects and make sure that you will wait till you attain a good profit and then think about selling and setting up a good business. 13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitCoin for Retirement on: June 28, 2017, 07:25:34 PM
I think Bitcoin is the quintessential investment for retirement.
Keep your job, save to invest and watch it grow. Obviously you need to have more than just a couple of Bitcoins in order to be able to live through your old age. My advice would be to never keep all eggs in one basket since no investment is ever 100% risk-free.
If you are able to collect some coins at a good price then it will be useful as the price might reach astronomical figures five years from now and if there are other opportunities to maximize your profit as there are new promising crowd funds that would double your money within a few months and so i am hopeful that i could make a good money before retirement.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One Address VS Multi Addresses on: June 28, 2017, 07:14:57 PM
it is not just privacy reasons, there are more to reusing the same bitcoin address more than once for receiving multiple deposits. for example the biggest problem most people will face these days is the higher fees.
Higher fees and address reuse has nothing to do with any of it,the major concern about reusing the same address is the privacy thing and even if you use multi wallet, you could still link all the other addresses in the wallet without much hurdle,so it is a big hurdle,i would rather use a mixer and usually save my coins in my hardware wallet and that the only thing i can do to secure my privacy.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: DCORP Crowdsale - Democratizing Venture Capitalism on: June 28, 2017, 07:00:53 PM
Many times I saw Dcorp advertised with Adsense this last days. They really make a good promotion strategy I think, combined with others medias plateforms. With over $3 millions raised I believe they did a good job, the numbers speak itself
They did a good advertisement for this ICO in many platforms and they will be touching the $4 million mark pretty soon as they have already raised $3.96 million and still we got 40 hours for the ICO to get over,so i am assuming they will be collecting around $5 million by the end of the crowd sale.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cyber attackers asking for $300 in bitcoin on: June 28, 2017, 06:49:25 PM
Ransom ware attacks keeps on coming with new names and i think it will keep on continuing like this ,you have to take security seriously ,if not you will have to pay a bigger fine if you plan to surf the internet without any security measures.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum VS Bitcoin - The FUD on: June 27, 2017, 08:09:18 PM
Counter argument: Should Ethereum collapse, more Fiat will stream into Bitcoin for lack of established alternatives in the Cryptocurrency space.
That is for sure,if Ethereum collapses then all the coins that started their business depending on ETH will suffer and they will be forced to change to alternative methods or will force them to create their own block chain or find out a good alternative.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the ticket to heaven ... on: June 27, 2017, 07:19:58 PM
The tools we choose, whether we use for good or evil. The star of evil only leads us into hell and vice versa.
Your choice is the path you choose, so please choose your own path!
What is the point you are trying to prove here,do you think money will make someone evil, what does bitcoin has to do here, everyone choices their own path and what makes that relevant to anyone, you are telling this is the new generation and you are talking about heaven and hell.  Tongue
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wanna Cry new ? please help (cryptolocker Petya) on: June 27, 2017, 07:02:58 PM
The server is a laptop without antivirus and firewall.
All important information is stored on the server.
The main issue is here,no antivirus and firewall, majority of people try to reduce their expense without using them and they really do not understand the risk they are taking and the expense they have to encounter when something goes wrong, you have to hire a specialist to recover the files and restore the server ,there is no other way for these sort of mess.
20  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto Bloodbath on: June 26, 2017, 11:56:16 PM
It's been a while since bitcoin had a major price correction. A 15-20% dip is normal, the people selling because of panic or FUD are those that bought at $3000.

This is a good time to buy, $2000 is a dream and elusive, this slump is temporary and the price will rise above the previous high in a week or two.
Even if there is a bigger slip up in the price of bitcoin,i would really hold till i get my moneys worth, one thing is certain when i am trading ,i will never sell my coins at a loss because i am pretty sure that it will come back to the old valuation at a later stage and only litecoin took a longer time for recovery from its old valuation, pretty much the rest of the coins have risen almost all of the time.
