1741  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think are the biggest disadvantages of Bitcoin? on: June 22, 2017, 09:43:52 PM
In my opinion, the biggest disadvantage of bitcoin is its rightful value. A currency's value is what people believe for its rightful/acceptable value. So for bitcoin, people who are holding more coins, have greater effect of what will be the coins' value.

For example, if in a 14 day period you post 14 posts, you gain +14 activity.
If you post 2 posts in a 14 day period, you gain +2 activity.

mprep, is this process of earning activity outdated?
I was under the impression that if you post even once in a 14day period, you still gain +14 activity.

You only get 14 points by posting once *if* your post count is higher than activity by at least 13. See https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178608.msg19709435#msg19709435. It may not be the best explanation out there, but I think you can at least understand the process.

My bad. Got confused with the terms ''activity'' and accumulated activity points. Thank you once again, the link you posted that shows different scenarios summed it all. Smiley

I will take legal action for sure, will not cost me much, just because they have given you some shit title called CEO does not mean you earned half even a 10th of what they have, still some chump running support requests lol, what they done was illegal and I will follow up with this

Aagh you lost a few pennies. You went yourself to the website to bet, so it's your own responsibility, legal or not.

Or did they force you to bet???  Roll Eyes

Rule number 1, play only with the money you can afford to lose. US-based players that I know also have restrictions, but I never heard them complain or ask about a refund for the money they chose to gamble. For example, if you won, will you be willing to send them back your winnings?

1744  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: June 22, 2017, 07:13:06 PM
Tomorrow's draft will be an exciting one to watch. Basing it on what people say about how deep this draft class is we might see some franchise players even in the 2nd round that is why a lot of lottery picks are big assets for them. What I am expecting is that there would be a lot of trades especially a lot of big names involve with the trade. This draft will determine a lot of future of many teams because this can make or break them depending on what player they choose.

Hi.

This new NBA Draft is already off-topic sir. If you wanted to talk about something else aside from OP, you should create another thread.(see unofficial list of bitcointak.org rules)

To OP, since the season is already over it seem proper to lock this thread and start a new thread for the next season.

Just my thoughts. Cheers!

The column in the left that says ID, is that the user's id number or just the number of people who have won jackpot already?
1746  Economy / Gambling / Re: JUST IN!! Primedice New CEO. on: June 22, 2017, 06:44:08 PM
What is the reason of the fortifeiture? Haven't really seen any news about Stunna messing up something recently, and I would think it would be a large reason since people can make mistakes.

Just because you stop being the CEO doesn't mean you screwed up.

PD is the biggest dice site on the web. Just imagine how filthy rich those guys must be. There is no way that they continue like this. They'll either re invest and start new projects to become even more filthy rich or stop working and give the work to MICRO just to enjoy their hollidays Cheesy

If you read Edward's post (or even my post), you see that there was a forfeiture:

Quote
Micro has been moved to CEO of Primedice after the forfeiture of Stunna & myself as advisory.

This transition stage will take place over the course of a few weeks.

If you look at the definition, forefeiture is when you give up something (in this case, CEO of PD) as a penalty for messing up.

@valta
Yes and it was from Edward's announcement. Read it yourself @ forum.primedice.com if you don't believe the OP's word.

I am curious as well why Primedice executives are removed and changed all of a sudden. Generally, most executes don't leave something just like that even if they more projects happening. I hope this does not involve anything fishy. Gamblers should be on guard though.

To feed your curiosity, visit the link I have posted above. But let me answer one of your question. Stunna and Edward, or just Ed is not removed, rather, they gave way to someone they think is better in terms of decision making. And that somebody is Micro who have shown dedication to Primedice.
1747  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★FastBets.io - A New Way to Gamble ★ on: June 22, 2017, 06:32:40 PM
From June 15 up until a while ago, I still try to visit fastbets.io as it has been a daily thing for me since I signed up there. I was hoping that one day it will be up again. Until I stumbled to their top player, which is also a good friend of mine and she told me that fastbets.io is off. . . for good.

To Henry,

Thank you for creating this site.

To Burns,

Thank you for all the tips, the fun chat, the conversations that we had.

To my co-players there,

I am sad that I will no longer have somewhere to chill in to whenever I am in need of solidarity. We will see each other one day.

Farewell fastbets.io,

-jamyr

1749  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetKing.io Relaunch - GET REWARDS - Multi-currency, Create your own app on: June 22, 2017, 02:14:25 PM
Why is the new ICO funding superior to the old site bankroll where you could invest and
withdraw anytime? I see advantages for you as an owner, but as a user IŽd prefer the old
system of investment.

There's advantages to token holders too. First off the old site charged 50% commission. This time it's as if it's 30%.

The ICO raises funds to improve the site, create new games and attract more players than we could before, the more players wagering benefits token holders.

I'm testing the site atm.
It seems that the rolls have sped up.

What I found:

https://prnt.sc/fmv72e

look at the profit, it shows an excess on 1ltc. The right number should be -100 not -101 .

Smiley

Hey

Now I know what you meant. I thought you meant in the stats tab.

That profit is actually bankroll profit and since I bet and lost 1 eth that's why it shows -101.

I think I will remove that stat since there's no invest option and it might confuse players to think that's what they won.

Thanks

I see. I thought I was the only one who have made a bet on LTC. I am so sorry.

Nice calculation update btw. Getting this pop up when I enter some random multiplier. Exact payout multiplier cannot be found. The closest available multiplier will be selected if you stop typing for 3 seconds.

How to attract investors?

Your platform should be realistic and not just flowery promises.

If you have read enough in this forum, but haven't tried investing yet, you might want to try investing in bitvest.io to learn more. Smiley

Can someone from Bitsler explain me how I get these values for a wining bet?
I placed a bet with the value of 0.00000748 on red.
I don't understand what is this amount: 0.00000785?

The payout multiplier is 2.05x in bitsler roulette unlike most roulette sites that only pays 2x.

Since I am not very lucky in hunting roll numbers, I'll just bet that the 12 Billionth roll will be on the 7th of July. Cheesy
