Yeah, adding more detail terms about the "bonus cancellation" will be good for both players and duckdice. Terms like what will happen if a player decide to cancel the bonus when....(may happen in some scenarios)
One more thing that I missed from this deposit bonus terms, if a player take the bonus so which balance will be used first? The initial deposit first or the bonus first?

Just adding a 'last-warning' or one more confirmatory pop-up would do it.

Regarding you question about the bonus, if you deposit 1 btc and activated bonus(120% bonus for example), your total starting balance will be 2.2btc. So both original depo and bonus are used at the same time

There is an extra popup with a notification how much you lose after cancelling. If people just don't read and click OK, then it's not duckdice who scams.

What I mean is an extra confirmatory pop-up on top of the existing one.

Something that would put duckdice in a better position because with this feature that I am suggesting, a player cannot just say it is just mis-clicked or so.

I guess they will be adding more confirmatory pop up. I heard they will either cancel entire bonus also. Heard lot of rumours, hopefully Stan will make an announcement soon.
1522  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Trading vs Gambling on: July 17, 2017, 05:41:00 PM
It is easy. Gambling is for entertainment and mostly depends on luck, while trading is like a profession or something that you do in order to gain profits.
Gambling is surely not any form of entertainment it is surely one of the fastest way of doubling your money but both gambling and trading have their own risks involved. In gambling of course you don't need much experience but trading requires lot of experience , time which is why i would gamble and not trade
Why gambling is not providing entertainment but a way to double ? You got any proof in your real life. You must be completely invertedly talking about gambling but they are the basic characteristics of trading.

Compared to gambling, trading has less risks. But we need to be prepared to eliminate risks in trading but there will be no such chances in gambling, the risk is always high with gambling and we never can eliminate them. Compared to gambling, trading has many better things like giving us chances to make profits. So I will choose only trading.

The chances of losing money with trading is the same with gambling. The value of your investment moves 24/7 so if you are trading manually, 1 whole day would mean a lot.

Hello, JackN4Beats and everyone else who has an issue with ETH withdrawals

Hope you are doing well today.

My name is Natalie and I am the current community manager for FortuneJack casino here at Btalk.
I am very sorry to hear about your recent experience with a withdrawal, but I want to inform you, that there is a small technical issue which we are currently working on.
We do understand the reason of your confusion, because transactions, including withdrawals, are indeed confirmed from our end, but does not show up when contacting Etherscan.
They have recently restarted their server, as we have requested which almost fixed the mentioned issue, but up to 15 withdrawals are still not confirmed from both ends.
We do take responsibility along with Etherscan, but what I want to clarify is, that this is not a scam nor this is a try to scam our valued players, technical issue is coming from in-between and we are working hard to resolve it for you.
What will happen next is - We will allow few more hours to see if the transactions will go through after resetting the server (to avoid double payouts). If it won't work, the winnings will be credited to the mentioned amount of accounts manually from our end.
Rest assured, I will personally make sure to keep an eye on this case and get it resolved as soon as possible. Will keep you updated.

Technical issues really come no matter how much you try to avoid them. In this case, there is not much that Fortunejack could have done to prevent it though I find it very professional that Natalie's owning responsibility for this issue. More power and hope this gets fixed soon.
1525  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC getting too expensive to gamble with on: July 16, 2017, 05:44:16 PM
I convert my btc to dogecoin whenever I feel that deposit fee is way to much.

Regarding bitcoin being too expensive to play with, I agree that gambling with 1whole bitcoin is expensive. But you can always look at playing with lower denominations. You can even bet 1satoShi on most(if not all) of the dice sites.

12 more slots available.

win an iphone or ipad for just less then 6$ incl shipping

....or just gift your 6$ to a random dude on the internet, who posted his topic in a wrong section
and yeah, escrow is a must or this is just a joke, 85$ from users for a "hope" to win something
oh,I see 3 tickets have already been "purchased" ,most likely by the OP himself  Grin

I agree. And OP seems to be in a rush bumping the thread consistently.

I like this and this is gambling means you add money to be able to win. If cant put few bucks in it then better not go to gambling sites. is my opinion.

OP please number 4-11 and 14

Made me smile to see the effort to make it 'convincing'.

P.S.

Escrow is a must in every transaction.
And avoid bumping re-bumping your thread constantly as it is against the posting/bumping rules.
1527  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What keeps you coming back??? on: July 16, 2017, 04:37:12 PM
I have been gambling for 3 years and every time i decide to quit it there is something what bring me back. Not only me but with a lot of people is the same.
Is it addiction or just those casinos have something that pushes us to keep gambling?
It is not about money because even if i have enough money i keep gambling for no reason.

The temptation is given. What keeps you and others could be that you don't have other stuff to use your time with. If you have a regular job and other activities, it may result to you keeping your word that you 'quit!,

1529  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: From faucet to thousands on: July 16, 2017, 04:22:19 PM
Do you know a good strategy to increase faucet satoshis (300-500) to couple thousand?
Well I tried it before I don't know if the martingale is still working in it,
I have tried it from bitsler when their faucet gives about 1,200 sats I made it till 200k sats.

Its easy to reach that. What is hard is to keep yourself away from being silly by betting less chances, higher bets.

And bitsler faucet is still the same.

announcing game 51st

bet is done with 0.05 for 1.526 on the home team to win

announcing game 52nd

bet is done with 0.05 for 1.636 on the home team to win

wish me good luck

I will wish you to get back your money but I don't suggest to try to get back this lost money from betting. You should have realised by now that these betting is not working anymore for you because you already lost 70+% of your bankroll. Just do it vocationally to watch and enjoy your team playing and find some other ways to grow your money.

Hi MinerHq,

He is not only wanting to get his money back.
If you check the page prior to this, same advise was done by marlboroza and just respect his decision. Besides, the purpose of this thread is him proving that he can accomplish his goal.

both games were a loss

stats are updated

Sad but I believe you. Looking forward to a win on games 53 54 and 55.

May the Lady of Luck shine in you!

I trust Dean because of this:(takes responsibility for the btc gambling industry)

Hi worthyou,

As a casino owner who has always made it top priority to provide a trusted and safe place for players to play I am tired of seeing players get screwed over time and time again by other Bitcoin casinos.

In future I would recommend you play only on provably fair sites that have a solid reputation, proven to be trustworthy and no history of withdrawal issues.

There are a few you have been suggested in this thread already and obviously I suggest https://betking.io where we have the highest betting limits, instant withdrawals and proof of funds so you know you will be paid if you win.

I would like to offer you some consolation by sending you 3.45 Bitcoin that you had taken from you unfairly by Bitstarz.

You can either pm me a Bitcoin address or a https://betking.io user id and I can tip it to you on the site. No obligation to play, instant withdrawal if you like.

All the best

Sorry for reposting but investors should know why investing in Betking is gonna be a great decision.
1533  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: July 16, 2017, 02:34:09 PM

..snip.,

That is some serious discipline. Although sites I play at have higher minimum withdrawal restriction. And I would feel like I am just contributing to the already congested blockchain.

Also most likely those winnings that you claim looks like faucet winnings.

Cheesy
Do you really think that you get a good profit from gambling compared to other opportunities?

Where the f*ck did you see in my post that I think that way?
Quoting a post means you have something that is being discussed.
1534  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is betting a good choice for a newbie? on: July 16, 2017, 02:27:16 PM
No, I've been here for a little while and I can see the newbies are losing too, if you aren't a great sportcapper or specialized in poker and even then the odds are not in your favor as a newbie. Even older and more professional gamblers lose as well.

Before telling newbies to bet, ask them if they are aware that not all the time there's a beginners luck. And everyone is prone in losing so make sure that your friend that is newbie knows his possible fate in gambling. If he will only gamble for fun, it's fine but if he is amazed of the possible profit better to stop him while it's early.

It is a very wrong thing to influence non-gamblers to gambling. It is like you directing them to a darker path instead of helping/guiding them to avoid it.

If you're a newbie and your so-called-friend invites you betting, think first then think again.

I am the biggest winner in duckdice.io  Their shady feature made me cancel my 9 BITCOIN balance and the admin didn't help.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2022797.0

Best solution for this would be to reset your account to what it is before you clicked the magic button that clears your balance.

But I would guess you will need to cool down a bit and since its the weekend, you may need to wait until Monday as they are not very active during weekends.

Good Luck.
1537  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit.com -- The Social Gambling Game on: July 15, 2017, 09:45:14 PM
Right now there's still a bunch of known issues (66, uggh) for the new release. So I don't want to waste anyones time with testing until they're fixed =)

But yeah, after that I'll be asking for testing and giving out bounties for bugs according to their severity  Grin

You can count me in to test and would be very happy to try this new version of bustabit.

Wish you all the best!
1538  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 FAST play/invest, WAGERING COMPETITION, 15 prizes has started on: July 15, 2017, 09:38:47 PM
Today's Yolodice experience.

Logged in and was surprised to see 0.00015ish btc in my account and already level 4 but yesterday when I logged of I was only lvl 2. So I tried several martingale styles and was able to make my balance to 0.005+, and then I tried experimenting on the autobet tools. Did not realize the base bet doesn't go back to what you have placed initially. My fault. Though I enjoyed playing and will be playing and would recommend to friends to try playing at Yolodice too. Smiley

Best part is I have wagered 0.04+ without a deposit.
1539  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: lock time?? on: July 15, 2017, 09:26:46 PM
Your transaction is confirmed now. Its lock time was block 475903 and it was included in block 475912 (nine blocks after its lock time).

You presently need to pay 270 satoshis/byte to get fast confirmations, and your transaction pays 150.29 satoshis/byte, which is about half that fee.

You can find the best fee to pay for your requirements at this site.

https://bitcoinfees.21.co/

Yes 'twas confirmed moments after I posted my reply.(3rd message on this thread).

Also I know the fees and if only Primedice allow a much higher fee, I could have done that.

It really depends. If the nlocktime is in the future, then your transaction cannot be included in any point till after the Unix time or the block time has been reached. Eg. If I set my the nlocktime using time at 1500128161, the transaction cannot be included in blocks that has 1500128150 as the unix time. Similarly, if its set using the block height, I set mine at 475930, it cannot be included in any blocks before that.
Or normally how long does a block take before its blockheight exceeds?
Check the blockchain. You can find the block height there, assuming every block is 10 minutes, it would take 100 minutes for it to potentially get confirmed if the nlocktime is 10 blocks in the future.

I think I'm getting it, though more familiarity is what I need. Thanks for your trouble. Smiley
1540  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: lock time?? on: July 15, 2017, 01:50:43 PM
What wallet are you using? I've never seen this before and don't really understand what it would be about.

Oh here we go

Quote
Locktime means the transaction may only be accepted by miners until the blockheight indicated in that field has been exceeded.

Since the locktime field indicated 419382 and currently the latest blockheight as of 12th July 2016 1108 (AEST) is 420352 the transaction has now been accepted by the network and confirmation will follow very soon.

https://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/questions/46495/what-does-lock-time-means

I'm using coins.ph as my receiving address.
Btw this is the tx id:

https://blockchain.info/tx/ee2f08dc039fd7432f216c1011d4338225b5ecfc574044f974146b1ddb573dff

Does this mean my tx will be a bit delayed?
Or normally how long does a block take before its blockheight exceeds?
