881  Other / Off-topic / Re: NASA Tests ‘Impossible’ no-fuel Quantum Space Engine – and it Actually Works on: August 20, 2014, 10:31:58 PM
From the article at: http://globalwarming-arclein.blogspot.ca/2014/08/nasa-tests-impossible-no-fuel-quantum.html ...

"That nicely ruined NASA's classical models.  I no longer think that we are dealing with a Vacuum in space at all.  We have dark matter instead that will decay into more complex particles from time to time.  I am just beginning to query this core discovery so i do not yet wish to say more about this thruster except that producing a high powered thruster using dark matter now appears feasible."

Smiley

Interesting, so they claim to be harnessing energy from the quantum vacuum. It has been known (theorised) for a while now that vacuum isn't actually empty, and consists of sub-atomic particles/phenomena constantly popping in and out of existence. This definitely should be researched further.

The question is exactly how this is happening, and whether it could work on a large scale. The comment about photon torpedoes seems a bit silly though  Cheesy

EDIT: Also I don't quite know where the author is getting "dark matter" from. Although I'm no expert in quantum/astrophysics, dark matter is not the same as vacuum energy, also not to be confused with dark energy:

Yeah man, you're probably right. I still think it's weird that they edited out the actual execution, and that the IS guy is British. I've seen so much fake shit on the internets, I'm pretty skeptical with everything I see these days.

Don't get me wrong though, these IS guys are fucking full on nut-jobs.

At least 400 "British" jihadist have been identified by the secret service until now. Most of them are second generation Britons. So the IS guy can be British.

Yes, I know there are many British radical Muslims/members of IS that are doing shit like this, the reason I thought it was weird was that the victim was American, and the video was intended as "a message to America". So it seemed odd to me that a Briton was in it. But I guess the perpetrator's original nationality is irrelevant really.

Muslim is down right evil killing innocent civilians and reporters.

And using their own people in Gaza as human shield.

We have to remember that it's only a tiny majority of Muslims that have these ideologies, most Muslims would condemn such horrific actions. In the same way (although less extreme), we shouldn't look at groups like the Westboro Baptist Church and then say "Christians are all evil bigots".

Yeah that's pretty fucked up, if real (probably real, but couldn't see the actual beheading, was edited out)

Few points: Why was the journalist condemning America? Maybe to avoid torture? Also I thought the executioner had a distinctly British accent? Weird.

why is he saying that shit? because he's scared and they have guns pointed at him. he probably had a .1% chance of hope on living, and condemning america was worth it.

885  Other / Off-topic / Re: Can You See the sun from outerspace on: August 19, 2014, 11:53:58 PM
The sun acts like a black hole in outer space, but for us it's a sun

The sun is not dense enough to be a black hole, if it was then we would see no light and there would be no life on Earth, because the gravitational pull of black holes is strong enough for light to never escape.
886  Other / Off-topic / Re: Can You See the sun from outerspace on: August 19, 2014, 11:39:10 PM
Why is this forum full of so many crazies...

Yes of course you could see the sun from outer space, it produces photons spanning the whole electromagnetic spectrum, from high frequency gamma rays, to low frequency radio waves. Our eyes can only detect a small portion of this spectrum, the visible light that we perceive. We do not need any medium for photons to diffract through to detect them.

Mobile phone cameras pick up IR light because they tend to use cheap CCD chips that have a higher sensitivity range than better cameras, and they use cheaper filters. It's a cool effect actually, but unrelated to the topic.

And the sun is not hollow, it would collapse in on itself for one thing, and if it was hollow it could not sustain the huge forces and heat that allow it to achieve nuclear fusion and produce heat and light. So you should be glad it's not hollow, or you wouldn't be here.

I don't get it. Looks like some one's sticking their finger into a nautilus shell.

I've always liked the spinning hollow face effect - The human brain is hard wired to recognise 3d faces.

889  Other / Off-topic / Re: Scientific proof that God exists? on: August 19, 2014, 12:11:25 AM
My final point here..

There are those who know and those who dont. Those who do have died however briefly.

Notice everytime I get to certain comments, in particular anything that comes close to certain initiations.. in come the masonic mass's with comments designed to distract from the facts? Most people would forget what their main point was after even the simplest of comments from these fuckers.. The thing is, if God did not exist, then it would not be so 'marvelous in their eye's.

Or would it..?

THAT man, the dweller, or the all seeing eye, DOES have a ring on his finger with the wheels upon wheels on it.. black, yet not black, flame is his body (hence light) ..

But there's a problem for this very specific cult of the all seeing eye, and it is indeed history.

This problematic history proves that freemasonry is no older than the bible, since most if not all passwords are taken from the bible, denoting false claims to start with.

Initiation.

In the darkest recess's of the world he will come for you if you are ready prepared.. (dont tempt me mason, or ALL your passwords will be posted.. including their TRUE import) This 'figure' that comes for you will actually appear behind left of you, that place you realise those in the crowd are looking at causing you to start running at the start of the flying dream.. This in an easily recognised form would be ANUBIS, protector of tombs, or OPENER of THE WAY. Do not think he wears the aforementioned ring. He will take you to him. From your dark place he will lead you.. there is no 'scientific' proof, for none noticed in the flying dream, twas only when you thought you needed a plane to fly did ye fall.. when you return to this life, speak of the apple from the grove of apple tree's of avalon..

Yes God exists.

There is no scientific proof..

Do I believe in him? NO. But admit the possibility.

Edit:

37 = Esoteric truth, that which we know, but cannot prove..
27 = Truth revealed. That which we can scientifically prove.

666 devided by 37 = 18 = LIFE
666 devided by 27 = 24.6666667 = TIME

Co-incidence I think not..

Lets try it like this, for the numerologists..

Another mathematical pattern: In 7 steps?

If = 4 x 746 = 3024, in 7 steps:

3 x 3024 = 09.072 check this: 9+7+2             = 18 = Life.
4 x 3024 = 12.096               : 1+2+9+6         = 18 = Life.
5 x 3024 = 15.120               : 1+5+1+2         =  9 = (yet to figure what goes here)
6 x 3024 = 18.144               : 1+8+1+4+4     = 18 = Life.
7 x 3024 = 21.168               : 2+1+1+6+8     = 18 = Life.
8 x 3024 = 24.192               : 2+4+1+9+2     = 18 = Life.
9 x 3024 = 27.216               : 2+7+2+1+6     = 18 = Life.

Most folks wont see I started with the base of the pyramid. Being 746 units in length. I then used the key of the seven inner planets to multiply the sum total of each side.

1. In hebrew there are only 9 digits in 10, since they drop the zero.
2. 72 cards in TAROT.
3. 96 degree's of initiation in freemasonry, for those that think they know..
4. 15 is the key required for your start in understanding the key of the 7, it starts like this:

1 2 3
4 5 6
7 8 9

Rearrange the square above so the three lines contain numbers that equal the same no matter how you read it. First we go: 1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8+9 = 45 devided by 3 = 15

You now know the PRIME number of SATURN, and it's HIDDEN number 45.

Now that you (know if you did'nt already) how to start this scientific search for god, start the next square which will be 4x4. Then a 5x5, 6x6, 7x7, 8x8, and 9x9.

When complete, join the dots 1 to 2 to 3, then 4 to 5 to 6, then 7 to 8 to 9, but in each square, do not carry 3 to four, 6 to 7 etc.. so many people know this, but never joined the dot's, it's like.. wow..

And at last, never before written online is this remix of the emerald tablets of thoth: by.. ME..

I know you don't believe in God. But from the seeing the actions of the tiniest micro-organism (a single cell is quite a busy place!) to the complexities of the mightiest galaxy to the mystery that is love, how can you not? If all the universe is an accident, well it is one heck of an accident. I don't see science and God as being at odds. I believe science helps us to understand, as well as our limited human brains can, the wonders of God's creation.

You're right in saying that the universe is "one heck of an accident", but that's what I believe. Was it Carl Sagan that said "We should be thankful for winning the cosmic lottery!"

Don't forget that although it seems like an incredibly unlikely thing to happen, we are only pondering these questions because we happen to be conscious. Think of all the other life on Earth that can never ask these questions, not to mention the possible other stars/galaxies/other universes where the conditions were not quite right for life to exist. There's nothing there to ask "Where did it come from?"

Although I don't believe in any god, I do feel a certain "spiritual-ish" connection with the universe, when I ponder where all the atoms in my body originated. The beer I'm drinking right now probably contains traces of rare elements that were born in a supernova somewhere billions of light years away...

Yeah, don't sell. I know it's scary when the price drops, but at the end of the day nothing's changed fundamentally - the technology is still sound.

Try and do something to take your mind off it - I just lost a bunch of (fiat) money with the crazy flash crash we just had on BTC-e, was really pissed off... But I just took a walk outside, enjoyed a cold beer, and now I feel a lot better.  Wink
893  Other / Off-topic / Re: Science and God? on: August 18, 2014, 02:14:19 PM
Science isn't interested in proving that God doesn't exist. Religion is not a factor in any of sciences many disciplines. Science has, quite by accident, shown that a God was not necessary for the creation of the universe and the creation of all life on the planet. If a God is not necessary than it follows it is not necessary to believe in one. Correct?
Except the below premise is not true - except in the minds of those who already take or wish to take that position.

Science has, quite by accident, shown that a God was not necessary for the creation of the universe and the creation of all life on the planet.

Actually it is true.

Back in ancient times, when people started believing in deities, they had no comprehension of how the world around them could possibly have come about without something creating it.

Now however, science has shown that there are many possible ways that the universe could have come about without involving a god or creator. Note the "not necessary" in the statement.

But I don't really believe much of the Illuminati stuff I hear.

The real problem is stuff like Reptilians, Pagan/Satanistic rituals, numerology coincidences, preserved bloodlines from ancient alien experiments, all that shit.

I'm rofling because of you Cheesy

lol, I just re-read my post and it doesn't read well haha. What I meant was, the real problem is the (perfectly human) elites, not the bullshit about reptiles/satan etc.

895  Other / Off-topic / Re: [Official] Illuminati discussion thread? Do they exist? on: August 18, 2014, 01:49:49 PM
I believe that there are probably a small number of elite leaders that have disproportionate control of large governments and corporations, including Presidents/CEOs/Banking families etc. But I don't really believe much of the Illuminati stuff I hear, and it annoys me because it's seems to be wild speculation that takes the focus of attention away from the real problem.

I'm talking stuff like Reptilians, Pagan/Satanistic rituals, numerology coincidences, preserved bloodlines from ancient alien experiments, all that shit.
896  Other / Off-topic / Re: Should it be legal to be high? on: August 18, 2014, 01:38:04 PM
Yes, of course it should be legal - it should be up to individuals to decide what they can/can't put into their own body. I also think people should be educated properly on the various risks of different drugs, and how to take them safely if they choose to do so. Plus, if drugs were legal and had quality control, less people would die from ODs/gang violence etc.

To all the people saying "It's OK as long as you're in a private place, not in public because you could hurt someone", well that's just stupid because other laws cover that stuff. It's already illegal to assault/rape/drink drive/drug drive etc. Obviously if someone was out of control while on drugs, and endangering others, then they should be arrested or whatever.
897  Other / Off-topic / Re: Science and God? on: August 18, 2014, 01:20:28 PM
It's certainly not necessary to believe in a god (if that was so, then all the atheists would vaporize in a cloud of fire and brimstone!). However sadly some people think that if you don't believe, then you are somehow pitiful and not as enlightened as they are. Of course some god-believers couldn't care less whether others believe or not. It's the ones on their high horse which get under my skin.
898  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 18, 2014, 12:13:31 PM
Huge manipulation going on. Bitcoin just touched down 309 on BTC-e

Selling =/= manipulation.

Well a normal seller wouldn't dump thousands of coins at market price, as they'd lose a shit load of money due to slippage. So in this case I'd say it was most likely manipulation.

Here's some maths magic:

1. pick any 3 digit number where all the digits are different. lets call it ABC.

2. Now reverse the number and take it away from the original number, so ABC-CBA

3. You are left with a new number, lets call it XYZ. If there is a minus sign in front, then get rid of it.

4. Now reverse this number and add it to the original, so XYZ+ZYX.

I will magically predict the answer in a MD5 hash.....
