I went ahead and made a VPS in UK. Well, I would say that the autobet is like a fat kid on steroids eating up my balance. LOL. Well I just set it to the highest chance with 0.00005 per bet. Thanks Ethan for the tip. Renting a server close to Ireland is a nice way to get ultra-fast bets. If anyone wants access to a Linux server in order to run a script for the competition, I can give you it for free for the next few days, until the competition ends. I was able to get 50 bets per second just an hour ago. Cheers, Ethan

wow, that 100btc x10 investment! my percentage of the bankroll is basically cut in half ( Someone just put another 100 BTC into yolodice? I have lost all my balance in yolo trying to get listed in low number roller Quite surprised to see few players who have managed to secure more than 1 position in top 10 list for bonus. They are probably taking advantage of the number hunt, which will attract millions of bets, resulting in increased profit the house. Hopefully though the 1BTC prize won't be taken out of the investor's bankroll. No, prizes for competitions are not taken from the bankroll, it's funded from our earnings. Cheers and good luck to everyone! Ethan

@Ethan_nx May you guys please allow us to set custom higher fee for withdrawals? Or make it higher by default (I am talking about immediate withdrawal option). All of my withdrawals from yolodice are usually stuck in mempool for hours. I guess it is because you put a lot of small inputs together for bigger withdrawals, which makes tx size bigger than usual, so you should take this into account when calculating acceptable withdrawal fees. Thank you.
Other than that, Yolodice is great!
Thanks, I will be looking at this. Bitcoin network's mempool gets full from time to time, this is what causes the transactions to stuck. We try to adjust the network fee to make the transaction get accepted pretty quickly, but it's getting pretty hard recently. This needs to be fixed, thanks. I definitely don't want you to pay for an instant withdrawal and wait for hours before it gets confirmed. Ethan

I am using a vps which is in the US and still got only about 4-5 bets a second. Though, I haven't tried using the on-site autobet on the vps.
How about that script you posted, is that for the dicebot?
Try using a VPS in Europe, preferably in UK or Ireland. The script I posted is stand-alone, you just need to have a working Ruby interpreter. Most Linux/Mac systems have it by default. For running in Windows you can search for "ruby windows". Cheers, Ethan

If you want to place your bets even faster, here is a script I wrote and added to our GitHub repo: https://github.com/ethan-nx/yolodice-examples/blob/master/play/number_hunt2.rbDepending on where you live, you could get up to 50 bets per second, but a more realistic value is 10-20 bets per second for Europe, slightly slower for other locations. You can also use DiceBot, it's really fast too, or a buit-in autobetter. Hit Load/Save and paste the following: {"roll_range":"lo","on_start":"a=0.00005;m=2"}
and start rolling :-) Good luck and cheers! Ethan Can you point me to a guide how to use this? My seuntjie bot is only doing 4 bet a second. It really depends on 1. where you connect from (speed of light is kind of a limit here) and 2. your connection quality. Does on-site autobetter give you better performance? Regarding DiceBot, the tip is (as I heard) to disable embedded chart because it slows things down after a while. Hope this helps, cheers! Ethan

I am really glad you guys like it! Now the only thing we need is more players to join us! With this kind of site you scare people do not come to play on your site? You must be joking . Btw you run a good promotion there and I hope that I can win more than 2 prize. I really like your autobot which is fast and never stop, I really like your site Thanks, I am really glad to hear this! Good luck in the competition! Cheers, Ethan

Daily top-10 update: We already have two "0"s, which are guaranteed prizes at this point. Everything else can still change. Good luck! There still 3 days left, the competition ends on Friday. Cheers, Ethan

One player can have more than one prize, there is no restriction on that. E.g. if you have 3 bets in top-10, you get 3 prizes.
Cheers, Ethan!
Really!? I would of thought otherwise. Only one qualifying bet are paid are usually the norm for contest rules. But if that is so then good one on your site! Congrats Yolodice on becoming a recognized dice site on bctalk forums! I really see no reson te set a limit one prize per player. If there was a limit like that, people would simply use alt accounts to work around it. My thinking is - if you can roll a winning bet, do it! :-) Cheers and good luck! Ethan

I've been exploring various ideas related to altcoins. I am not going to introduce betting in altcoins now for sure, but what do you think about accepting deposits (and maybe sending withdrawals) in other currencies? Shapeshift.io comes to my mind as a possible solution. Do you think it's worth implementing deposit/withdrawals in altcoins?

Can we win more than 1 prize on this competition? Lets say a player hit 0 5x, will ge get 0.5btc or he will only get 1 prize? Indeed it is very rare to hit 0 so many times but it is still possible. Nice question, same here. Ofc it's rare but in theory, can happen. I don't see any of the competition rules to be broken, so a player can win multiple prizes. Or is there a rule about this?It would be good to know, thanks. I think its not you can not get multiple prize you can only get 0.1 this is just what i understand about 10 winners who will get the 0.1 btc each.. I think a player can get multiple prizes on this competition, as there is a chance for a player to hit low number multiple times. There is also no rules "one player one prize" unless the rules of the competition is not complete yet. One player can have more than one prize, there is no restriction on that. E.g. if you have 3 bets in top-10, you get 3 prizes. Cheers, Ethan!

Are faucets, referral commissions and promo costs all deducted from the investor profit? or is it paid from the sites cut?
It's not deducted from investor's profits. Right now all the prizes, faucet and incentives are paid from our separate fund. Edit: I think we might at some point introduce incentives that are paid from the site bankroll, but not at this point. If this happens, we will be clear exactly what is paid from site bankroll, how it affects investors' profit and expected return on their investment. Cheers, Ethan

what will happen if a user have 2 or more bet ID in the top 10 lowest bets?
There are no restrictions on number of winning bets per player. One user can have more than one prize.

i will try, thank you admin
Please do. Right now you need to roll 115 or less to get into Top-10! A lot of people ask me what you have to do in order to participate. You just need to play. If your bet is egligible for the competition (has amount >= 0.00005) and it's roll result is sufficiently low it will register automatically and will be listed at https://yolodice.com/#bonusCheers, Ethan
