I'm just join DeepOnion airdrop , may I ask some question ? I'm Full Member and just have 250 Onion , airdrop rules change at round 19 ( i forgot which round ) , I think I just can receive 15 onion per week ( new rules ) , but we can receive hundred of onion with old rules ...
Old Airdrop Rules: All participant member maybe receive same amount of onion , at least a few hundred onion each round
New Airdrop Rules: more onion your hold , you will get more onion each round , participant receive different amount of onion ( new participant just receive a few onion each round , old participant receive big amount of onion each round even just a jr member rank ) ...
I'm confused and suggestion , why airdrop not based on our bitcointalk member rank and I think old rules is better ...
Please correct me if I'm wrong ...
if you joined airdrop early on, the revised rule will favor you since you'll be having >10k coins balance. i also found myself on the short end with this revised rules. i think the devs team modified the airdrop computation is because there were lots of cheaters who claimed alot more onions from airdrop compared to other honest participants. also, the revised rules encourages members to buy and hold more onions to push the price of onions up. this rule change seems to have positive impact on onion price at it goes from 0.5usd to almost 3usd currently. we can't complain about the airdrop since it's the devs call. we can only embrace the new rules and play with it. how? - just buy more onions! |

Must the new guys buy 100 onions from exchanges to get the airdrop?
the quickest way to have 100 onions is to buy from exchanges. however, this is not obligatory. there's an slower way to have 100 onions - go to deeponion.org forum, there are alot of giveaways, bounties, contests for those newbies who have less than 100 onions. |

For the first time that missed the event of the onion airdrop is really missed, will never catch up, the current mining benefits high?
mining are not attractive unless you have baikal asic miners. it's never too late to join airdrop program. we are just halfway thru. and the recent changes in airdrop computation rules favor those big investors. you just have to buy and hold as much onions as you can to have as much airdrop as possible. current airdrop rewards holders with around 5% of their onion holders weekly. not bad, isn't it? |

I think after the release is when people are dumping garbage. But now I can not buy cheap onions.
the airdrop is just halfway through and i expect onion price to become higher. since you've seen onions at around 0.50usd, you may think onions is expensive now at 2usd+. but when it reaches 5usd or 10usd, you'll think it was cheap at 2usd+. fyi, onion price was once at 4-5usd, so it's not impossible to reach that figure soon. |

With same activity I have a higher payout. Looks like the dev got the cheaters weeded out. Now the people who deserve the onions (YOU!) are getting them!
yes, some cheaters and abusers were weeded out. but there were also alot of honest users who didn't fully comply with denomination tasks that caused them to have negative deeppoints. that leaves you and the remaining who have positive deeppoints to have higher payout this week. |

I want to be part of this community and I will read the rules and respect them. I still can't understand all the people doing this with their sexy girl avatars ... when I see such profile I almost immediately know that the person behind the account is not the one on the pic and he is up to no good. You'll say: "but some of them are really girls!!!", yep there're exceptions can't argue about that but still ...I'm pretty sure that if I make a list with all these accounts in it, there will be a certain pattern there for sure and no matter how hard you try to exploit the system with your alts, we'll be there to catch you you sneaky sneaky cute "girls". True But as a holder i like to see the price down, so i can buy more when i can afford. But thta is true, Bitcoin is complitely crazy ,and all the attention is there now I guess the big price is good then the low price is good also. Everything about DeepOnion is good. I wish I could buy more. what's more important is to spread deeponion to as much people as possible. if lots of people become interested in deeponion and have a strong belief in this project, they will invest in some ways. the price increase will follow naturally after more people do transactions using onions. |

I was observing how this would end up because many were for and against it. Lately, the devs announced an improvement in how coins are distributed. I see that they do listen and adjust their systems. hi, is the 'improvement' you mentioned that the devs announced lately - is it regarding the tightening of domination tasks? this is regarding deeppoints. are you referring to fridays' airdrop? did i missed something? edit - i got it. it's regarding bounty rewards. changed to every thursdays. and most importantly, rewards are not 25 onions as before. since onion price is rising, rewards is at 10 onions at the moment for every good quality article. edit #2 - i got it. thanks. he's referring to the airdrop factor for holders beyond 30k onions |

Hi crypto-raimbow, Can you check my ban from airdrop? Unfortunately I didn't have my signature in place for a few hours yesterday and got banned for that I didn't know the rule was so strict you need to have it on your profile at all times  I hope to be whitelisted again soon, I've been in this project since Round 4, I love DeepOnion been pretty active on the official forum, I was never banned before, please I wouldn't like to leave like this. I already put the DO address back in my profile again. Thank you. I think you will lose this Airdrop. You clearly break the rules with that action. It would be best to check if their is a new rules for the airdrop. It will be your lose if you got banned from Airdrop and getting back to track is really inconvenience since you need to do it check all the possibility that you get accepted again. dude, believe me... lots of people will do lots of things for money. there's plenty of those who will do things heartlessly like robbing, killing, kidnapping. now with the digital age, modern technology, and internet, bad people learns to cope up and learns to scam people of their hard earned money. |
