I used CB for some time, and made a loss on some withdraws, that did not complete. Had too much time consumption to contact them for completing my withdraws, and it appeared to me they had more trouble than they admitted.
After introducing KYC they have sent me a message, if I wanted to have my last withdraw, I had to acknoledge the KYC agreement. This was the final sign to me, that they need help, and my missing withdraws can be regarded as a donation to them.
It's a warning to all users of CB, nevertheless I wish them all the best.

Which wallet do I have to use for PoS minting? I prefer Linux.
Staking (PoS) is not active yet, it'll probably be available by the end of this year (once the Shelley mainnet is perfectly ready). Once the staking goes live, you can use Daedalus (for Linux) for staking. If unchecking the box "Subtract fee from amount" in the Sigma Spend window, the assets seem to vanish until now. If I let the box checked, funds are sent nearly instantly.
It seems I have them back, but it takes much longer. |

Bleutrade exchange has been added. Surprisingly, it's a very old exchange based in Malta. It has been operating since 2014 and I don't find many scammy reports of it
They have been very reliable to me, I can recommend them. Anonymous withdraws are coins worth 500 USD every day. |

The forced me to do full KYC, including showing source of fiat-funds and declaring my personal income before.
In the end I am happy with that outcome.
In Future I will avoid Bitfinex and Tether.
There are a lot of people without a personal income, me too, and especially the poor all over the world. Will take Bitfinex the wealth of the poor? They are criminals! Bitstamp asked me in their KYC, on which platforms I trade or use cryptos. Of course I answered nowhere, and left them. The trading platforms will misuse the questions to get ahead. |

On bittrex I lost some coins, and on hitbtc I lost a lot of them. I trusted hitbtc, it worked many years very smoothly, and suddenly they have sent me a KYC mail.
I'm paranoid, the worst case for me is the exchange ops are criminals, visiting me whenever they want. There are many signs in history this is probably the case. This said, the "loss" on some exchanges like bittrex and hitbtc in my view is a sort of donation to them, they will need it. The signs they give to me is worth all the money.

Any hint how to transfer anonymous zerocoins from the old wallet (v0.13.7.10) to the new one (v0.13.8.2)?

xspec has a fixed price in maker orders on bisq, not acceptable on high price fluctuation and low volume on bisq. I do not understand why they do not make the price adjusted to main exchanges, similar to the other coins.

Ist schon komisch, dass das so schwer zu verstehen ist. Es fließt IMMER genau so viel Kapital in den Markt wie aus dem Markt. Bei jedem spezifischen Tausch wechseln die beteiligten Wertgegenstände nur den Besitzer. Langfristig hängt der Marktpreis also nur vom Vertrauen (kurzfristig von der Gier oder Panik) der Marktteilnehmer ab.

Herzlichen Glückwunsch an alle Investierten! Aber irgendwie geht mir das schon wieder zu schnell. Bald muss ich Teile der Coins wohl wieder in Edelmetalle umschichten.

Wenn ich einem Bedürftigen etwas schenke erwarte ich keine Gegenleistung...  Da kann die einzige Gegenleistung das eigene gute Gefühl, oder ein zugesandtes Bild mit leuchtenden Kinderaugen sein. Ich rede hier nicht von Giveaways an eh schon übersättigte Kellerkinder... Du gehts nach Indien und gibst den Bedürftigen Kinder Geld. Für dich ist das nichts aber ein Indisches Kind Sammelt am Ende des Tages durch betteln 20 € ein. Sein Vater geht jeden Tag in die Arbeit und verdient 10€ pro Tag. Was denkst du wird sein Vater in Zukunft tun? Mit solch einem verhalten kannst du das Leben eines kleinen Kindes zerstören da es eventuell nicht in die Schule geht da es so einfach ist Geld zu generieren oder ein anderer Punkt wäre, dass du damit die Indische Wirtschaft zerstörst da die Leute lieder betteln als zu Arbeiten. Absolut offtopic. Sorry Mezzo zerstört nichts, so lange er sich nicht zum spenden entscheiden kann, dieser Angriff ist unangemessen. Ich selbst gehe dazu über, Spenden an SOS-Kinderdorf, plan-verde und diverse andere zu verteilen. Ob die Spenden wirklich sachgerecht angewendet werden, und nicht verjubelt, das kann ich nicht beurteilen. Ich weiß recht gut, was mezzo meint, nicht selten kommt nach der Spende sogar Aggression zurück. Das Problem ist, dass sich Spenden ohne Gegenleistung wie Almosen anfühlen, das heißt der Spendenempfänger fühlt sich schlecht. Es gibt genug Situationen, da kann man spenden so viel man will, man könnte die Situation sogar verschlimmern. Wenn man gedankenlos z.B. für einen Brunnen in Afrika spendet, könnte das sinnloser sein, als die Spende in ein Projekt zur Hebung des Grundwasserspiegels zu stecken. Der Brunnen ist ein kurzfristig wirkendes Projekt (langfristig schädlich), die Hebung des Grundwasserspiegels aber ein langfristig angelegtes Projekt (das der Vegetation und somit indirekt auch den Menschen dient). Das ist ein Beispiel, dessen Betrachtung sich verallgemeinern lässt, man muss also für sinnvolles Spenden schon ein bisschen Grips rein stecken. |

Tried to buy XMG on two separate exchanges. I bought on YoBit (should've read the thread more) and obviously can't withdraw. I also bought on TradeSatoshi though since it was allegedly working based on what I read, but I can't withdraw from there either. I can't use nova as I'm in Canada, so am I SOL for buying Magi for a while? I just want to get a hold of more coins to increase my staking yield and now have 400 XMG in limbo and I know it's not really in the devs direct control, but if anyone has any suggestions they'd be more than appreciated!  btcpop.co works for me for half a year now. From time to time withdraw is hanging, but the supports is solving it. Are things going so badly that you have to make this bad advertisement here  Critisism, but no recommendation for TritonDreyja how to make it better? The worst thing in this forum is, that I cannot block people like you reading my comments. |
