341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] iBTC - Improving on BTC Decentralization - Satoshi's Missing Link on: March 28, 2020, 08:02:51 PM
listed on graviex . the dev is dumping the premine..... what a trick to dump the premine f*ck! . no value for real miners.

Already dumping his/their bags, LoLa Smiley)
The project just started and they already ruin it, bad move. This is why you need to stay away from the premined coins, unless the coins are locked for a certain period.
Deleting this from my watch list.

Cardano Releases Solution that Scales More Than Visa’s Payment Network

“With 1000 heads the network could theoretically scale to a million transactions per second - comfortably in excess of current global payment systems such as VISA.”

https://cointelegraph.com/news/cardano-releases-solution-that-scales-more-than-visas-payment-network

This is amazing!
Scaling is the problem with cryptocurrency/blockchain payments. If Hydra will work in the real word as in the tests we will see a revolution in the crypto space.
Cardano could become the leading crypto and the one who will bring mass adoption to the masses.
343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XCN] Cryptonite - NEW Thread | 1st mini-blockchain coin | Bounties! on: March 28, 2020, 07:24:24 AM

Thanks! Indeed, I wasn't very active recently.
Actually, I've been maintaining all the stuff (nodes, explorer, snapshots...) but have no time for new development.
And, bitfreak is nowhere to be found, I hope he's fine and just very busy, and can come back and help us a little. I also don't know how far he went with "XCN 2", maybe he can surprise us with something :-)
On the other hand, finding new devs or investors for an old (even if important and innovative) project is very hard: most people just want new stuff, that can be easily pumped. This is the hard truth we learnt.
But, I won't rule out a new spring for cryptonite: in the end it's still active and working, while most small altcoins are dying or already dead, and had nothing interesting to show anyways.

Good to hear from you man! I hope everything is OK on your end with this corona-v.
Indeed XCN is still active and working, but we need more than this to have some trades/liquidity. Also I hope that @bitfreak will surprise us nicely, would be awesome.
Stay safe!
344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Idena is the first Proof-of-Person Blockchain on: March 28, 2020, 07:19:38 AM
@krekovich It's nice that you try to help "green" in linux buddies but counting on donation in your literally second post on the forum is a bit too much for me ...
especially since there are so many toutorials on the web how to set up Idena Nod on VPS thanks to which doing this consists literally five times copy and paste like this one: https://myaltcoins.info/idena-review/#Running_Idena_Node_On_A_VPS

I here you, but the guy said there is a script. With this you will get rid of the manual setup of the tunnel settings for the VPS which I saw many users have some issues.
But I agree with you, asking for a donation from his 1st post isn't the best thing to do, maybe he inspired from this community member post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5194871.msg53888215#msg53888215 asking for a coffee tip.

As I've said earlier, I think is an old member with a new account, since is very savvy, crypto savvy.

345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Idena is the first Proof-of-Person Blockchain on: March 27, 2020, 09:30:12 AM
@krekovich
Looks like you know a lot of coding and blockchain, so you are not so newbie in here. Is that an alt, maybe from someone of the team?
Just asking out of curiosity.
Anyway good job!
Merited you as you have made some efforts in your scripts and posts. Cheers!

Hi, nope, this is all my work, from scratch. I was hoping that the team could review all of this and put into their FAQ on idena.io, but not sure if that's gonna happen.

As for the .bat file, it originated from someone on the team, but I just improved it so people don't have to know their usernames, etc, and it's way more easier to configure - so that's only an improvement.

Understood.
To make this happen (the team to review and put it into their Idena FAQ) I think you should try to contact reb0rn/rioda on Idena Discord.
You avoided the answer, but that's OK. Keep up the good work.
346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XCN] Cryptonite - NEW Thread | 1st mini-blockchain coin | Bounties! on: March 27, 2020, 09:26:38 AM
I want XCN to survive, but just I am trying to be realistic.
Again, in crypto, no development == no future. Simple as that.

Same here. But unfortunately shit happens and some things in life doesn't works as we wish.
I liked the project and the tech, but when you see no development and the devs absent, I think is time to move on.

@Pallas, don't get me wrong, I appreciate your work and the attempt to resurrect the project, but even you can keep this alive.
347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CashlessToken (CASS) | Referral Proof Of Stake (RPOS) | Mobile Staking | on: March 27, 2020, 09:11:52 AM
the red trust is just because of some line in whitepaper , it has nothing to do with project anyhow
Plagiarism is never tolerated, it has never been tolerated on this forum.

Your whitepaper is nothing else than blatant copypasta from cryptocurrency articles. Most pages of your main document have been copied word for word with no reference. Especially, it is unacceptable when you are expecting investments or whatever you expect. Do you consider this behavior trustworthy enough to invest even single penny in your project?

I agree with @witcher_sense regarding the whitepaper, is not "some lines" is pure copy/paste from the internet.
Maybe next time you'll launch a new coin you won't publish an whitepaper at all if is plagiarized or worst copied from other crypto project.

a little cockroach who sells masks on BTC for $1.50 and has nothing but posts about selling and scamming is not going to tell devs and real users what do to.

you've been outed as the Idena scam crew, its in the screenshot and your posting history of scams and fraud accurately describes you.

I love your post about wanting $2500 up front for a programming job that you can't even describe and need the money up front. You're a true scammer in every sense. It's a little hard to image a $100/ hr programmer is the same scab selling $1.50 masks.

@RaiLai is the forum FRAUD

Why do you have always to go off topic on the idena thread? If you have an issue with me go on PM's. You know nothing kiddo. You know nothing.

Hey @Railai, don't bother with trolls, just ignore them (skip their posts and just reply to those who you think is on-topic and is worth your time).
Don't feed the trolls and ofc don't call them "kiddo" as kiddo stands for a smart kid (as far as I know).

32 000 XCN month at current ( 11 sat)  price is: $12.91  costs is not included. It represent a lot losses at this moment for each miner.
It will be higher if you take in count others cards.etc. [It Depends of diffuclty]

nvestors and Traders:

Each market is always fierce and cruel, to this oppportunity of deep look i will choose the worst situation possible for users of  Cryptonite (XCN) who was bought on summuer of 2017.
about 2000 sat.
It is so simple. Current price is about 12 -11 sat... the tragedy is alteast clear.

I didn't bought at 2000 sats, but around 100. Anyway where did you came out that numbers?
Where can you sell XCN for 11-12 sats ?
You can't even sell for 1 sats, since there are no buy orders.
351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: InflationCoin - IFLT - 4% POS - SourceForge Project of the week 2018 on: March 26, 2020, 08:50:20 AM

I tried again today and wallet synced ,
thank u very much bro the wallet is online now .

You're welcome!
Good to hear that you managed to sync your wallet.

Note that if you use this config
Code:
daemon=1
listen=1
staking=1
server=1
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
maxconnections=500
rpcport=11371
rpcconnect=127.0.0.1
your wallet will become a node on the network, helping others if the wallet is online for stacking.
352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Idena is the first Proof-of-Person Blockchain on: March 25, 2020, 05:47:21 PM
Looks like the team failed to announce the 0.19.0 update on Discord, or here like it was stated on Medium.
I thought the 0.18.3 is the last update as I've read the Discord announcement & update threads and I saw nothing about 0.19.0, I only discovered that I need to update my node from the wallet, which I started by mistake earlier. Lost like 4h of mining.
Unprofessional.

hope the dev will share new addnodes if he still alive Smiley .

Yes, I saw that only 1 connection is on my wallet too, but it synced. I will try to keep the wallet open to add one more.
Best thing to do is to join the IFLT Discord and ask OGs for better addnodes, mine are old, gathered from 2017 until now.

Hello !
I am interested in your coin, looks good. I wonder how I can mine/get some? All I need is download the Android wallet?
Also I see you are running a bounty campaign for translation. If you need Romanian let me know, I make translations on bitcointalk.

Firstly , download cass wallet from google play store or ios store

In order to do staking ,

1. buy cass
2. Go to MABT
enter cass amount equal minimum 10usd , click stake

I see, well thanks, but no.
I was thinking I can mine the coin like old school or something. Buying is not my strongest point.
Also the translation thing is off, I saw you already got some red trust and I don't want to have anything to do with scams/shitcoins.
Good luck!

This is without a doubt a SCAM coin. should have known by the self moderated sketchy anonymous OP and the disgraceful posters here that call themselves a community. The reason you don't know the extent of the scam is same as all other cions like it, because the creeps are moderating it out.

As far as I can see, your post wasn't moderated (deleted). So your statement is pure FUD.
Anyway if you think this is a scam coin, why don't you leave and find another project, there are thousands out there.
Thanks for the heads up, we will take the risk.

358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] iBTC - Improving on BTC Decentralization - Satoshi's Missing Link on: March 21, 2020, 06:41:16 PM
Interesting coin, I would like to know what is the difference between SHA256 and SHA256d.
And if I can mine this coins with a CPU like a CPU only coin, or I need ASICs equipment, this is why I asked about the difference between algos in the first place.

I see no response from this thread with your question, you should try to visit the telegram group of this project to find out more clearly about being a question mark for you and some of the people in it.
SHA256 is an algorithm

160

iBTC uses same as BTC, sha256 with RIPEMD160

these are 2 alg

d means double for 2

256 followed by 160

make it harder to try and reverse a private key

impossible

256d -> 256 then 160

256 -> just 256

but people are sloppy and 256 tends to refer to 256d also

Thanks for the kind explanation!
I was thinking is just the SHA256 name is similar, but is more CPU/GPU friendly. Anyway, I will try to fire up some GPU and see what they get to me.

A note to chess players out there who would like to join the Bismuth Chess 960 tournament today. At 19:00 UTC time I am hosting a chess tournament with Bismuth prizes for the best 10 players. Time control is 5min and the total tournament time is 1 hour.

More information about the tournament: https://steemit.com/chess/@bitsignal/bismuth-chess-960-tournament-saturday-21st-of-march-19-00-utc
Tournament Location: https://lichess.org/tournament/W9pvvORe

Nice initiative @bit-signal, I will try to join the tournament.
Even the prizes are not great, I really like to play chess. I just hope I'll be home at the time it starts, on the highway right now (I am not the one who's driving) Smiley
