Stunna, Edward --

I have sent a few emails in the past week about a deposit I made (user: Ben34) that have gone unanswered.

My deposit address had changed, without this being made known. I had sent a 1 BTC deposit to the old address and only after discovered the change.

Can this missing 1 BTC please be credited to my account, or refunded?

Or refund to: 1LEFEMEUdF2CLNk2hUDJKjioXF3J71ypR

Thank you,

We just rolled out some tiny changes.

Changelog:

 * Autobet: Stop @ Loss/Win removed. Many users didn't understand it was per session and some people were losing much more than they anticipated as the system stops at that loss or greater, so let's say you made a few coins but were using a 100% multiplier it would potentially be possible to do a 20BTC bet with a 0.01 stoploss and end negative 15+ despite that stoploss. This isn't really an unintended error as the system is designed to stop at the defined loss or greater but many users were utilizing this with massive amounts and losing more than anticipated when not watching closely....

The "Stop @ Loss/Win" option could be enabled in our profile, so then people who want/need this feature will still have it.

...Many users didn't understand it was per session...

Some of us are able to figure that out, can we please have some version of Stop @ Loss/Win in the near future?  ...thanks.

Agreed.

So am I understanding it correctly that the removal of the stop-profit and stop-loss is temporary?

I think it's helpful to clarify what's being "stopped" -- it's the streak from the moment you press the button -- not the "session", and not the "bet" -- and also to set the stop loss *before* it exceeds the boundary, but still keep the win-stop *after* it has crossed the boundary.

Thoughts?

Yeah right  Roll Eyes

Yes, right. Ask Ch1cken something idk his exact username.

Perhaps the stop-loss should stop before it's about to make a bet crossing the limit. The way it worked is that the last bet before the limit still goes through, and then the betting stops only after it had "crossed the line" -- this is what happened to chicken. A massive bet just before the limit decimated his stash.

Can this be fixed and restored?

Stunna, gents,

Please put back the stop-loss and stop-profit functions, with an explanation on how it works.

And if it's "confusing" to lots of people who don't understand how it works, could you please make it a "special option" under the profile?

I was very annoyed to discover that these features disappeared when I reloaded the page today. Please restore them in some form, because I really can't do autobetting without them.

I agree that the feature should be brought back. The development of the function to work as intended is not that hard and it would be a more complete experience with that implemented as it should.

Thanks -- yes, I agree.

Make it an 'advanced option' for people who know what they're doing. Just because chicken was a retarded player doesn't mean that serious players should suffer. I'll simply stop if the feature isn't restored in some form.

The site still works when clicking on a referral link straight to https://www.primedice.com/play

I sent a deposit, however, and after 5 confirmations it's still not credited to the account. When will this happen?

In the past week I've gotten identical "Invoice Payment Confirmation" emails from "Cloudhashing" and "Cointerra".

No text in the email -- just an attachment with a file called "invoice_772.jar"

Seems a phishing attempt too.

10  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: 40.000 Dollar Investment on: July 28, 2014, 10:05:12 AM
I would hedge the investment:

Use 40% to buy BTC directly.

Use 25% for a mining plan (Cloudhashing is going for $2/GH for their next upgrade)

Use about 10% for other coins (Litecoin and/or Darkcoin and/or Doge)

Use 25% for a hardware order -- but be careful: BFL is useless, KNC has gone bad, and most other companies will never make ROI.

Hi all, hi Stunna -- good luck with the new development PD3.

I have fiddled around with the site a bit since the shutdown of JD -- and would like to play on a bigger scale as I used to -- but would like to see the following features:

* First and foremost: speed and responsiveness. I hope the engine speeds up so that manual betting can be quicker. This should be an overriding priority. No one cares about the pretty sunset background or animated dice while you wait for your bet. The functionality should be prioritised over graphics.

* Keyboard shortcuts for betting, doubling, halving etc. (disabled when chat is open)

* Bring back the 1/2 button!

* For the autobetting -- please add a "Reset to base after XX wins or losses" function. This way a player can leave the automating function on -- and also sleep the night !

Good luck,

Ben
Fortunately, all of which you mentioned have already been included in PD3, AFAIK. I agree that they can set a option to disable the animations to allow faster rolling of dices. When rolling a dice, server sends and recieve bet info by using a API. This can take sometime depending on the server load and your internet speed.

Good news -- thanks. I would like a confirmation of the last point from the horse's mouth -- it's an idea I mentioned in this thread before.

Stunna --

I heard in the chatroom that PD3 is currently under development. Good luck -- and I look for the site to be faster.

Quick question.

* Will you include a 'max bet' in the automated betting function ?

This would enable players to play for longer periods of time without keeping a nervous eye on the site.

- 'Ben35'

What do you mean by that? As in max bet it when your balance isn't enough to bet the next amount? Or do you mean maxing it each bet on, 1.02x for example?

If martingale or some other betting technique goes bigger than chosen max bet betting will automatically stop or start again with base bet.

Yes, this is what I meant -- that the escalation doesn't go beyond a certain point, but that auto-betting does continue after a reset.

Dean indicated on the chat that he's now copied the JD algorithm -- will be back to work soon.

I'll have my people talk to his people about licensing that algorithm. I've been looking for a new income stream of late. Wink

Why don't you sell JD then? Didn't you have offers for it in the past? Or relaunch it from a tropical island?

Hi Entry-level miner, would you like my Jupiter?

I put it on eBay for £50.

19  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: How many people have chosen not to refund there KnC Neptunes? on: May 14, 2014, 06:46:32 PM
I chose to swap for a Titan -- a much better deal, and I'm happy they gave good customers the option.

KNC have prioritised setting up their own massive mining rig in northern Sweden above getting the Neptunes to their customers in time.

Now 3 TH is worth a lot less than a Jupiter's 550 GH in October. Even less so when they finally come out.

They have significantly contributed to the expansion of the network in the past two months, and they're keeping it for themselves first -- they have completely diluted the value of the Neptune, and screwed over their customers.

My advice: if you still have a Neptune on order and have the option to switch to a Titan -- do it and mine Litecoin or any of the other scrypt twatcoins out there.

Justin -- are you here?

I'm still waiting for an order of an ounce of platinum that I made two months ago: order #3520.

I got no word from you since my first question about the status of my order.

Could you please clarify the status again, else refund me the BTC that I paid for it?

I just sent you an email.

Thank you for any clarification about the delay,

Benjamin B.

Update: I see that the website says that the order is completed by the tracking number with USPS shows an error on the USPS website. Could you please provide your customers with unambiguous information? Either on the status of the order or provide us with a refund.
