Let's not get our hopes up:

Would be nice if it's better.

Migrations for BTCT shareholders are still in the works. Your shares are safe and all accounts are backed up and stored independently.

Part of the delay is due to Danny, myself, and his team having already scheduled travel and meetings for Neo in conflict with BTCT's closing. I am in Cyprus now. Meeting all of the partners and seeing the offices has been an impressive and surreal experience so far.

I have the video of Danny speaking at the conference, which I'll post when I have some downtime. Meeting with the software team now...

Good news as always! Be sure to share that video!

Over 2200 btc in the Asks and 220 btc in Bids.

If BTC-TC wouldn't be shutting down I'd buy a couple of them, they are practically free Cheesy.

That's it,  I'm all out.  Salvaged 70% of investment having been a shareholder for just over a day and am still pleased I bought in at 0.0004 and took the risk.

Unfortunately the silence surrounding this Q&A became deffening for me and has utterly convinced me that this is indeed a scam.

I called it a scam hundreds of pages ago because I really thought it MAY have been.  More recently I decided to take a risk on the fact that it MAY NOT have been.

This has been a very convincing and well played deception on the part of those who called themselves Labcoin.

My parting words are, 'Please do as I have done and salvage whatever coins you can.  Take the loss and move on otherwise you really will be left with zero.   I'd give it two days at best, nearer 24 hours.'

I wish you all the best of luck bringing these people to justice.

I'm off to NEOBEE and ActM as I see a real future there.  Wink

Haha, a couple of days back you were so mad at the obvious FUD's that people spread about this legitimate company.

No I wasn't bro.  Wink

Maybe I have you mistaken for someone else then, nevermind :p.

Any news on the TaT transfer to Havelock?

To think that I warned people in the beginning and nobody cared. Enjoy guys.

+1 for Bitfunder. Interface is great and everything works the way it should. Weexchange is definitely weird but it does work, I've never had problems moving bitcoins through them. Coins show up in about 20 minutes and it's free. Does anyone know why they use that service at all? Why can't they just accept and release bitcoins directly?

Because bitfunder is trash, why everyone isn't moving to Havelock is beyond me. If Labcoin really moves to bitfunder, I'm out.

I'm not a big fan of Bitfunder either, but let's not complicate this at the moment. The important thing is to maintain liquidity, so immediately moving to Bitfunder makes the most sense as no setup is required.

Let's merge everything into BitFunder for liquidity purposes.

    • And he can't sell the exchange as a going concern to anyone else - because if his lawyers told him BTC-TC was illegal then they'd also have told him that he couldn't sell it (as a going concern) to anyone else.  It's a bit like if you'd been dealing drugs : your lawyer would very strongly advise you NOT to sell your stock to some other dealer.
    • He MAY be able to sell the code-base - as that isn't illegal.  But obviously he's not going to even consider doing that until the exchanges are fully shut down.
He should make the code open source and just release it, that way someone with sufficient know-how can start a new exchange.

I really hope we don't have to rely on BitFunder in the future, let's hope Havelock wins something out of this![/list]

QFT! I had a look at BF, no way in hell I'll own any shares there... Go Havelock or Go Home.
474  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: September 23, 2013, 02:36:15 PM
Sure, that is a possibility also.

I think BF for the immediate future is the best idea. At least it would join both the markets finally.

IMHO Havelock is a much better choice.

If so, can we move all BF shares too? I want them joined as I have shares on both exchanges. Also 1 big liquid market is far better than 2 smaller ones.

We had two exchanges set up just in case something happened like this. Then as a backup plan, we developed our own.   So, I think it is better to have two exchanges trading the shares.

Please allow us to have to option to choose on which exchange we want the shares (Havelock, BF).

I will look in to Havelock; however, we will have to get approved and pay the fee if required.

Hi Ken, Have a look at the PM I sent you for Havelock contact details.

    BTC-TC SHUTDOWN INFORMATION

BTC-TC Investors will be able to transfer their shares to Bitfunder before the shutdown.

ActiveMining will post the information on the procedure to transfer shares to Bitfunder later today in this thread.

This would be a good time to think of what to do when BF also closes down, because its only a matter of time IMO.

I have already though about that.  AMC already has a Stock Exchange built and is in the testing phase.  If Bitfunder is shutdown also, shares would be transferred to Active Mining Corporation own Stock Exchange.  To avoid problems with the US, the Stock Exchange will block all US IP's and ask during signup if you are a US citizen.

What about Havelock? Not US Based...
478  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: September 23, 2013, 12:13:12 PM
Just a quick note on the BTC-TC shutdown.

We will be looking into this problem today, and will post a solution later today.  All investors on BTC-TC should have their bitcoin address set.  Also, I would have a bitfunder account set up if you don't already have one.

I seriously dislike bitfunder (Slow, WeExchange, ...) What's wrong with using havelock? Don't we get another option?
