221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How about the idea of decentralized stablecoin on: September 02, 2020, 04:02:47 PM
I have lost around $100 by the times of 2010/2011 when liberty reserve was seized by US federal.

I am sure this crypto community will suffer a lot if anything similar will happen to tether and other stablecoins. People are not aware of dangers of making use of centralized services for financial needs. Before anything negatively happens to centralized stablecoins industry, I guess we must need to switch over to a problem-free environment.

I welcome your idea of decentralized stablecoin.
222  Other / Politics & Society / Re: social distancing ? covid on: August 23, 2020, 01:37:21 PM
It’s not only in your country, it’s like this is the same everywhere. In my country people are acting like the Coronavirus doesn’t exist, and the most annoying part is that some think that it’s a joke or maybe the government is kind of trying to play games with people or something like that, some people are just so damn stupid and that’s it. I saw someone that one complaining that where he’s living no one cares about wearing mask, that his girlfriend once wore a face mask to a friend’s party and people there were laughing at her.

Just for you to see how dumb people can be. I’m praying that there wouldn’t be a second wave, even if there’s going to be a second wave, let the cure be released before then.

224  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: August 10, 2020, 07:48:07 PM
I think the disadvantage PSG has in that game is the lack of conditioning which we have seen as not a big problem for them. In Italy they played rest of the league while in France they cancelled the season, which is interesting when you think about the fact that France didn't had it as worse as Italy on the peak, but that was the case anyway. So, atalanta will be in peak form and will play with 100% but PSG is such a great team that even at 50% they are better team.

However, when they move further and if they beat atalanta and face another team they will have even harder and harder task to beat their opponents but also get better conditioning as well. The real risky game is Bayern vs Barcelona, I still don't know who to bet on that game, it looks like either could win the game.
225  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the cause of economy rise and fall. on: August 02, 2020, 02:43:28 PM
I believe that economy is built to be something to go up and down, it can't always go up because at that point if we go up long enough without ever dropping the whole world would become billionaires and the system would just not work when there is nobody to work and everyone is rich, so inflation will happen and being a billionaire wouldn't mean anything, it would be like having 50 thousand dollars but you would have 50 billion instead, hence it can't work.
While I agree that an economy cannot just rise while there are cases where economy just falls and keeps falling. There can be times when inflation becomes less than zero also called as deflation and while it is good if deflation occurs in a particular country because the value of the money increases but that also means the debts get even bigger. Suppose the value of 100 USD becomes worth 120 USD after deflation (as deflation increases the value of the currency) but that would cause serious problems to people under debt as they have to pay even higher now technically on their debts.

So, it is actually feasible that the economy rises and falls at certain points to maintain the economy and avoid any major issues. The US economy was so strong but now the pandemic have shaken them brutally, so no one can stay at the positive economic growth for lifetime.
226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fill your bag with caution on: August 02, 2020, 09:05:57 AM
indeed the benefits of investing in a project outweigh the investment of altcoin, but we must be clever in choosing projects that will increase in the next 1-2 years, because if we are wrong in choosing a project then we will experience huge losses when large investors sell all coins the project.
I haven't seen many coins that are able to sustain their value in long term and maintain the market cap. Of course big coins like ethereum and others are there but then we have like 10k coins made and if only 20-50 coins are being dominant then surely one should not look for long term benefits. I mean yes you want to invest for long term, but for doing there is always the option of "Bitcoins" so why do you even need altcoins for future hold?  I always invest in altcoins and expect to sell them once their price has raised enough and now it would start to go down suddenly.

Is there anyone who invested in altcoins for long term and is still in profit? I mean yes you might profit from coins like ETH in long term but you will find shit coins much often and loose way too much as compared to what you earn with a few good ones.
227  Economy / Gambling / Re: MintDice – Bitcoin Casino With Online Slots, Bitcoin Crash & Bitcoin Investment on: August 01, 2020, 05:11:56 PM
Right now in my nation you guys are at the top of the second page, not good but not bad neither considering you are slowly growing, what you just need to aim is to focus on growing more than the other places and your top 3 place is guaranteed and eventually top place as well.

Obviously primedice is at the top but let's be honest they are one of the (along with just-dice) the first places to make off-chain provably fair dice gaming possible, they are the OG dice website in crypto world and that is why I understand them ranking well. All the other ones are there only because they have been around for years, nothing new that ranks as well as you guys, all the casinos on the first page are 3+ year old places with some 5+ year old places in there so I am 100% sure you guys will rank better in near future.
228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How possible is it to make a living trading cryptocurrencies alone? on: July 28, 2020, 05:39:24 PM
Can someone make it trading only altcoins?
That's very much possible but you will have to be experienced and has a high capital for you to be able to start. Like you as a newbie, you need to gain experience first. It's not just you have heard that they can make money through trading altcoins and so you'll do as well.
It takes time to tango and you have to practice yourself doing it again and again until you become familiarize with the setting in trading. Many day traders are prone to losing than profiting.
One does not necessarily need high capital to start. I know people who started from 100$ and now trade cryptos worth more than a hundred thousand dollars. It’s all about making the right decisions at the right time and understanding the market inside out. I agree that many traders lose money instead of making profit out of the trade the reason being their impulsiveness to invest without any background check or technical analysis.
229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Governments cannot control Bitcoin on: July 27, 2020, 03:43:57 PM
Yes, I agree that the only thing a government can do is to regulate Bitcoin.Because crypto is designed as decentralized. Thus,  a government cannot take full control in it.Through regulations, the government can also benefit from crypto through taxes and regulating ICO would minimize scam incidents.
Even if bitcoin or cryptocurrencies in general are regulated, still scams, frauds, money laundering and other illegal activities will take place. There’s no way to stop that as the whole system is decentralized. Although, by regulating ICOs are by making them register under a specified law section many scams and frauds can be avoided.

Implementing fixed set of rules to the exchanges will surely help the government keep some kind of track on the moving money between fiat currencies and crypto assets and also help charge taxes and limit the people from trying to launder their money through these digital assets.
230  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency can not replace fiat currency. on: May 06, 2020, 02:10:45 PM
We are not sure whether cryptocurrencies will replace fiat or not. To me it doesn’t seem possible if you look at the world we are living in right now, there are still so many people who don’t understand cryptocurrency and not interested in making use of it, and it is not just only these people, this is just like the basic, cause when you move from this to the next you will come to see those that don’t know anything about technology or that they know about technology but not interested in it; these are the people who are simply interested in cash and doesn’t have anything to do with online banking and digital money.
231  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin mining a problem of wasting energy? No on: March 19, 2020, 04:27:35 PM
Bitcoin mining is not a waste of energy because of this bitcoin mining we will be able to mine bitcoin and make a supply of for all the world and this is a way of earning money so I can say that it is not a way of wasting energy, perhaps those people who are saying that it is just a way of wasting energy is just like nothing happens but in bitcoin mining people are earning by doing this.
You don't get the actual topic man, the thing is how POS is better than POW and since POS is already a good algorithm why do need need to waste energy to mine POW coins since POS is a simple solution and I do agree that POS has upper hand because no matter what but energy and resources are being wasted in POW indeed.

it could end up making Bitcoin centralized. Think about it. Imagine being a huge exchange with a lot of PoS coins in custody? Solely from being a whale, you automatically have a significant influence over the network. In contrast to PoW whereas you'd actually have to dedicate money to buy hardware.
But, to buy those hardware you need to invest money and like you said if someone grabs a big number of coins they can control the network similarly if someone has a lot of coins they can sell off buy miners and actually be a whale too.
232  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you gamble only with Bitcoin and do you have other favorite alt-coin? on: May 26, 2019, 01:22:40 PM
Definitely most of the time I usually use bitcoin to gamble, because every gambling sites accept bitcoin and there’s also some gambling sites that can convert your bitcoin into altcoins. If I aint got fun then i’m cinverting my bitcoin into ETH to play.
233  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is very likely going to break $9000 in the next few days. on: May 26, 2019, 01:02:25 PM
I don't think this is going to happen. Price is still in some kind of correction phase and fluctuations will continue for a while. Although it looks very close, having in mind current situation on the market 9000$ will not be so easy to reach. For that we would need continuous growth in the upcoming period but this is not going to happen.
In crypto everything is possible, and we can believe that it can happen. Looking with the market it’s quite stable because there’s retracement and correction thay is happening. $9,000 can’t hard to make, but it’s possible.
234  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can you save money while playing gambling games? on: May 26, 2019, 12:45:25 PM
Get rid and balance every money you have, that’s it setup always a limit in yourslef playing gambling and don’t too much play with a lot of money if you’re trying to save money.
235  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The "how to" of building a gambling site on: May 25, 2019, 02:42:36 PM
You need developers to build such a decent gambling site, this is the easiest way I can suggest.

Also you can take courses like Computer Programming (Web development) if you just willing to learn and happy to understand everything.
236  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you prefer? Sportsbet or casino on: May 25, 2019, 02:31:22 PM
Playing gambling by the purpose of earning money and spending time are the right thing of reasons, why there’s so many gamblers all over the world playing a lot.

By choosing what do I most played? Both of them, their just fun and exciting to bet and play casino everytime.
237  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Harmony - Bukas na Kasunduan para sa 10 Bilyon on: May 25, 2019, 02:18:16 PM
Not excited as an investor, I'm just excited to know if this project would be as profitable like other projects that has gone under Binance IEO.
Also, for bounty hunters, I want to know their success here as I might start bounty hunting again with projects in IEO.

Definitely agree to you.

Magiging active na din ako sa bounty if makita ko kung paano mag success ang prject nato and most of the time sa mga under na din ng BINANCE IEO ako sasali. Let’s see.
238  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you watch the matches you're gambling on on: May 25, 2019, 02:11:59 PM
I always watched the game where I bet my money.

I would be true, most of the time I’m just betting when NBA Finals or playoffs are coming because we all know that watching NBA Playoffs are definitely satisfying to watch. What more if we bet in the team we like? more excitement.
240  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin price & movements [Discussion] on: May 25, 2019, 01:52:39 PM
