121  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do people hate islam? on: December 02, 2017, 12:00:33 AM
Ignorance. They know nothing about it and that allows people to fill the gaps in their knowledge with whatever bias they have. It's also true that all people hear about are Islamic terrorists. Obviously the jihadists represent a very small number of Muslims.
I agree with you. People misperceive Islams to be bad peoples, because they are biased by what they see in the media, they only believe what the media says and don't listen to anyone else. I believe they need to do a thorough research before they can judge Islams for who they are.
122  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Does ages really matter in relationships? on: December 01, 2017, 11:56:44 PM
Age signifies so much more than just a number: it can reflect your maturity, your stage in life, and your experience.  At the same time, age can be deceptive.Does  it matter if men date younger women? If so, how much of an age gap is an acceptable one?
Age does matter. For instance, we can't let older men date a teenage woman that is almost gapped 10 years! It would be very immoral and a disgrace in our society. Age is the basis of a two couple if they are compatible or not, well, that is in my opinion. We should not let people take advantage of age gaps to do whatever they want in a relationship.
123  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What is a fair society? on: December 01, 2017, 11:51:41 PM
Fair can have two meanings, one being justice and the other equal. An equal society is exactly what is sounds like when everyone is equal in everything from rights to money to clothes. A just society is one where everyone gets what they deserve. If you work hard you get money. If you have good habits you will be healthy.

To me an equal society kinds of sounds like socialism but I think that I would prefer to live in a society where everyone is equal. I think however that we live in a more just society than a fair one. So many people are not equal but just as many do not get what they deserve.

What do you think? Do we live in a fair society? Is it more just, equal or something else entirely?

Thanks for the thoughts!
I believe that we live in an unequal society because, racism occurs, discrimination of social status occurs. Our society doesn't have equality. Our society can't also bd called "fair" because corruption exists in our world, people that corrupts countries make it unfair for the people, when the rich are enjoying laundering our hard earned money and we work ourselves off just to maintain a stable life, it is unfair. Our society is falling apart because of corrupted leaders doing what they want and not listening to the opinions of the people of the country.
124  Other / Politics & Society / Re: English on: December 01, 2017, 11:34:28 PM
Do we need to study English to be successful?
Truthfully we can be more successful if we study english, it is because we can communicate better with a lot of people around the world because most people from different countries know how to speak english. So learning how to speak is crucial for business and other transactions around the world. We can most likely to succeed if we can communicate effectively with other people.
125  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Can Music Actually Change Lives? on: December 01, 2017, 11:22:04 PM
Throughout society, many question if music actually has a strong affect on people or even if it can change peoples lives in general. In my opinion yes, music can change peoples live in a huge way. I seen in many cases where music helps a person stay out of trouble due to peer pressure or even helps them deal with mental, physical, or even emotional abuse they encounter on a daily basis.

My question for you guys is.... Do you believe music can change peoples lives and why? Also if you have been affected by music in any way please feel free to share your story on how it affected you and or change your life.

Thank you 😊
Music is like my daily dose of mood supplement. What I mean by this is that, for instance I am feeling very frustrated, I always listen to my favorite bands and all of the sudden I forget all my frustration. Music has really changed the way I look at life, in My early childhood, I was always bullied and depressed I am on the verge of committing suicide, when I watched a video on Youtube about suicide and what made me stop mostly is the backhround music, it literally made me cry and motivated me to be strong. From then on, I was always listening to music. Music changed my life Smiley
126  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How do you equate the value of women today? on: December 01, 2017, 11:11:46 PM
How do you equate the value of women today?

Many women degrades womanity, how about you? how do you value a woman/yourself?
Women today don't value their physical body, showing them off for free on Facebook and Instagram.
Though some gives value but majority are not. It's disgusting! Awareness of their value must be spread in this generation.

I agree. Maybe this is due to the trends that they see on celebrities. They saw celebrities wearing such inappropriate clothes and think its alright to also wear them because its trendy. Our society today is messed up, we have underaged teens having pre-marital sex, and this is also due to women that are showing these teens that it is alright to do such things by dressing up inappropriately and doing things that are also inappropriate. People must change how women behave, because they become more like a material being rather than a respectable human being, we must change their perspective on how to behave.
127  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Are you happy with your current mayor/governor? Do you support him/her? on: December 01, 2017, 02:58:01 PM
Are you happy with your current Mayor/Governor? Do you support him/her?

Did you vote for him/her?  Why or Why not?

Yes, indeed I am satisfied by how Our government works today. There are lesser crimes happening in My country and this is because a lot of drug lords and drug addicts are being captured or killed. This might not be ideal to other people that we will kill  these people. I am really proud of how peaceful the streets in my country turned out to be as compared to the past streets. Yes I voted for the president. I voted Him because I knew He can change Our country, the streets that once filled with cold blooded murderers
128  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Social media on: December 01, 2017, 02:42:09 PM
Is Facebook good or bad for the new generation?

Facebook is not to be accused of being bad for anyone. It is being considered bad because there are too many people specifically millenials that are way too addicted to it and is likely to abuse themselves by using Facebook nonstop. This behavior can lead to laziness and to other negative attitude. Facebook has helped us reach other people that are far away by communicating with them and posting status online. This alone is very helpful to all people, the only bad effect of Facebook is how the new generation abuses themselves staring at their gadgets all day because of "entertainment", it is alright to use Facebook, just control yourself and don't abuse it.
129  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The positive impact of technology on society. on: December 01, 2017, 02:27:49 PM
We always discuss the negative impact of technology but now you tell me the positive impact of technology.
In my opinion, the prevalence of technology drastically affects many areas of society in positive ways, including education. Modern-day students not only have computers to help them with their schoolwork, they also use the Internet for research while teachers use technology to enhance their lessons.
In my opinion, there a lot more positive impact of technology rather than the negative, and I am going to cite them all down:

-Technology through the internet helps Us to research what we need, specially for students. One click and all their questions are answered.
-Technology helps us have a more convenient life, through online transactions, online shopping, and many more, we are able to be  more convenient in a sense of just typing in what we need and not having to get out of our house to buy it personally.
-Technology and its perks, such as cryptocurrency, Artificial Intelligence, machineries, etc.
-Technology and its ability to create endless possible inventions that can change our world, just look at the A.I. walking jumping and working by picking up heavy objects that humans can't nowmally carry.

Technology has endless possibilities of improvement, It is the future of all humankind.
130  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why people are unhappy? on: December 01, 2017, 01:57:39 PM
Did you ever thought why many people are not happy even they have many possessions in life?  Did you ever thought the reason behind those agonies even if they tried to be happy but it wont last that long?  Physically,  they showed to the whole world that they are strong,  they enjoy their lives to the fullest.  But at end of the day,  loneliness attacks.  Did you ever thought why people are unhappy?
I have an idea as to why this occurs. Maybe people are fed up having these kind of life, they want something more than what they have. They want to experience things they never felt before, human nature tends to be fed up at things they already knew and love so their tendency is to crave for more things. A person can only be happy if He/She is contented, and contentment can be found in the persons interest and new set of goals in life.
131  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Hypnosis on: December 01, 2017, 01:52:42 PM
What do you think about hypnosis, have you ever been in a state of hypnosis or trance. And do you believe in all this? Who do you think is the best specialist in the field of hypnosis from now on?
personally, I don't fully believe in the "state of hypnosis or trance", maybe I would get a little sleepy, but I don't think a person can command Me of what He/She wants me to do. I guess it is up to us human beings, whether we let oursleves be tricked by the words of the specialist. If we let ourselves be persuaded by the words of the specialist then We don't have our own will. For me it is mentally impossible to let other people control of Our actions. So for me, I think Hypnosis that can control the humans actions is fake.
132  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Language on: November 30, 2017, 10:08:05 AM
Do we need to have a common language around the world?
There are two very common languages used in every country and these are the verbal, which is the english language and the non-verbal which is body language. Now most people in various country use the english language as a means of communicating with other people in different countries this is because it largely influenced countries from its political and economic hegemony. Body language is also considered our universal language as it unravels gestures of our emotions, how we feel about something, and to let other people understand what we want in general.
133  Economy / Economics / Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins on: November 30, 2017, 05:34:44 AM
Maybe not to get rich, but sure as hell to earn a decent amount of money with bitcoins.

How much money did you earn with bitcoins? Or did you lose some?
Personally, I think each and every one of Us has the potential to be rich through the use of Bitcoin, (e.g. Mining, Investments, Trading, etc.). My total earnings in Bitcoin comes mostly from Bitcoin Signature Campaigns, Mostly I picked decent looking campaigns, but only a few have legitimately truthful companies, most of the projects I joined are either cheaters(steals the stakes that is purposefully for Us participants) or scammers which promises high amount of stakes but at the end of the campaign, doesn't pay You what they have promised. So as far as I have done all my posts, I only have earned 0.01BTC ($150), but if all Projects are truthful to their words, I would've gathered 0.2BTC ($2150). So yeah, for now I am still being patient and see how other Campaign will work out for Me.  Smiley
134  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin a good way to invest your money ? on: November 30, 2017, 05:26:53 AM
Savings in banks Deposits in banks Property investments, such as buying property (land and buildings) are then leased or resold after some time later. Gold investment, such as buying gold and then stored for the long term. May be useful in the long run. and produce a decent and satisfactory. or farming to buy sawan and gardening and planting fruits and vegetables is a very good investment. Although a little vulnerable to failure but it could not hurt to try.
There are rumors going around that Bigtime Bitcoin earners are looking for a way to manipulate its price, and once they can manipulate it, its price will fall. Its just a rumor though, this has not yet been clarified. I believe they want to manipulate its price because of a new coin, Bitcoin Cash is it? Or maybe they just want to manipulate its price and then benefit from it by buying it while its price is low then bring it back up again.
135  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do people insist on getting things like advice for free on: November 24, 2017, 01:00:44 PM
People usually believe that things like advice should be free because they wouldn't follow every advice they recieve. People wouldn't want to give something they got from their hard work to someone who would tell them things that they might not even find useful.
136  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are we as relevant as the way we think we are? on: November 24, 2017, 12:54:51 PM
The relevance of something is determined on how you look at it. It is opinion based and should not be controlled by anyone. We care so much about how we are relevant becaue we are made to believe that we all have a purpose in life that we should find in order to be happy. If what we're actually looking for is happiness then death might be a philosopher's happiness since they end up taking their own lives. In short the sense of relevance is something you get when you feel fulfilled or accomplished because you're happy about what you currently have.
137  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is science a religion? on: November 24, 2017, 12:36:00 PM
Science can't be a religion, it is a subject where you find knowledge about how everything around us works. You can believe in science while also believing in God like the big bang theory which can be caused by God himself. Science revolves around on what data you have gathered to serve as a proof to prove that something is real or fake whilst in religion it is more on morals, faith, and believing on a certain thing that doesn't even have proof of existence.
138  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Are Taxes legal? on: November 24, 2017, 12:25:12 PM
How can taxes be illegal when the government itself made it legal for eveyone to pay taxes. I know for a fact that taxes go to the govenment to fund all the projects they are trying to do like fixing a bridge. However it is also true that some use taxes as a way to earn a lot of money without you realizing that the price is too high.
139  Other / Politics & Society / Re: peer group influence on high school student educational performance. on: November 24, 2017, 10:56:50 AM
Have you ever wondered about the extent to which peer groups affect academic performance? Make no mistake; a peer group can impact your child's academic performance significantly. However, to say that one's peer group is the most influential factor in academic performance isn't true either because there are so many other factors that influence educational performance.
Indeed, a peer group can largely influence a student. For example, if Your peers are very consistent in studying then, You are most likely to also study. If however Your peers are always procrastinating then You could also be affected and procrastinate too. The thing is, having peer groups means 'to socialize', and a student can be affected by anyone on the peer group because He/She had socialized with them.
