21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 99% OF ALL AIRDROPS ARE SCAMS!!!!! on: June 16, 2018, 01:51:46 PM
The title of this thread is bit provocative, but the fact is that most people have a bad experience with airdrops. According to several airdrop hunters I spoke to, the majority ICOs don't pay out at all.

What's your experience with airdrops? Did you get scammed most of the times?
Personally, I have joined airdrops when I was only starting in the crypto world, but as I learned that it was only beginning to waste my time and efforts to do so, because most of the time the coin has no value and if I am lucky it can be tradeable but it is of little value and not even worth the time combined on joinig all these airdrops. I prefer working and putting an effort on a bounty campaign that you trust and gives you a decent amount of tokens that can be sold or hodl to earn a defent amount of money.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your biggest regrets in cryptocurrency? on: June 11, 2018, 11:58:56 AM
I discovered bitcoin when it was about $5 per coin and during that time for several reasons I could not buy it. I discovered eth and xmr when they were around $10 per coin and I could not find a good place to buy them. I discovered netko when it was about $0.05 and I could not get the wallet compiled. I probably had around 40 bitcoins and cashed them all out under $800 and I could name more.

You?
For me, my biggest regret is my ignorance. Just like you I also knew Bitcoin when it was really cheap yet I think I would only waste my money on it and I didn't trust any coins because at the moment all of it seems like  a scam. Little did I know that it would turn out to be this successful. I would regret it to this day. Another thing I regret is also related to being ignorant, because when I got into crypto and I started investing on altcoins that I think is really a great concept, I only checked out it's summary of its concept and not the team nor the whitepaper, I ended up being scammed or the project always failing. I lost a lot of money from my earnings and ended up not trusting any cryptocurrency as long as I didn't learn more about it. For now I am still learning how to speculate altcoins and to determine its relevance if it can be a huge success or a huge waste of money and time.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO is still legit? on: June 11, 2018, 11:50:46 AM
Here is lot of iCO. How i find legit ICO.
Finding a legitimate ICO is quite difficult but not impossible. IMO, most ICO nowadays are divided into 2 categories, first are the ICO's that brings us promising claims and pretty good evaluation of the whole project which can sometimes be successful yet also can turn out to be a great scam, and second is the ICO's which brings us nonsensical projects and are only in it for the money of those who are not good at speculating a good ICO/Investments these types are also considered as scam and most likely to fail because of the foolish creators that wants easy money. You can find legitimate ICO only by having the proper knowledge for speculating an ICO, it's whitepaper, it's team, it's vision, etc. You must rely on your own beliefs and 'instincts' if you know what i mean. Be aware of all kinds of ICO's specially if it is looking like a project that copies other platforms ideas or projects that seem to have  no potential whatsoever.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think this year will be Red? on: June 11, 2018, 11:29:09 AM

Do you have any good reason to believe that the crypto market is going to grow this year? Do you think we may end up in all red? I do not see the growth and happy investing of last years.

IMO, the way I see it the market isn't doing very well, we are at the last month of Q2, Q3 is fast approaching yet the current market status is still hanging low. Almost all coins seem to be red and its value is dropping drastically. Not to be pessimistic but i think there is little chance of a big growth this year. We must not lose hope though as cryptocurrency is very unpredictable and volatile we can still be wrong about it being red all year. All we can do is wait and see, have a little hope that the market will soon be green.

Sylon can you change my eth address and use this? --> 0x588E804368BD6bF68D3cA281868353aD8dEeD941

thanks in advance!

You have to provide your old ETH address as well.

@Sylon, Why I did not receive my stakes this week since I completed my post?

Be patient and everything will be okay.

Sylon

Thanks for a great campaign (I left some time ago), just asking if it would it be possible to change my ether address to:

0x0d681d40eAa80B213E0f60d305aC1A8b71C5614E

Number 36 on spreadsheet.
My Profile: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1008978

No big deal if it can't, thanks.

You have to provide your old ETH address if you want me to make the update.

Sylon

Please change to new ether address, thanks.

Old Ether Address: 0x71D13536379665F4C429eF45AE6086AFB9EFD3b2

New Ether Address: 0x0d681d40eAa80B213E0f60d305aC1A8b71C5614E

Updated.

May I just ask. Is the total stakes in the spreadsheet that I am going to receive equal to the amount of SED tokens I will receive? Or how does it work?

It depends about what LiveTree campaign you're talking about. Please be more specific.
I am talking about the Signature Campaign.  Smiley
How does the Signature Campaign stakes work? Please I need a response to this.

1000 "Stakes ($)" = $1000 worth of SED tokens.
Oh Ok. And one last question, will the tokens be distributed right after the end of the bounty campaign? Or will it take weeks before we receive them to our Wallets?
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you like airdrops? on: March 10, 2018, 04:22:19 PM
Hello guys!  Wink

Today I wanted to ask you, what do you think about airdrops?

As for me, I work in the KickCity project and recently we launched airdrop. I do really like the result! We have a lot of newcomers and new people who are interested in the company. If you want to join you can ask the team in the community https://t.me/kickcity_chat (the airdrop is closed by now)

SO  Shocked

Are you taking part in airdrops? Do you like the result? What is the feedback?
Or maybe you are working in a project launching airdrop?
I only like airdrops when I know that the tokens have a high potential of having a value. But for the most part, I think doing airdrop is just a waste of time and energy because most airdrops today end up not having any value or if your lucky, it may have a low value. I participate in airdrops only if I think the token has a high potential of having a value. Too many people depend on airdrops because it is the easiest thing to do, and this is one of the main reason I don't like to participate in it, and it is because the reward is divided into too many people, thus the reward tends to be of smaller value than what I expect.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you ❤️ crypto??? on: March 10, 2018, 03:42:37 PM
I love the way crypto can connect people from a different culture.
With crypto you don’t need bank account who needs al your private data.
Just make a wallet and you can receive payments from everyone in the world.

But my question is why do you love crypto?
Why are you interested?
I love Crypto for the same reason as you. But other than that, Crypto has helped me through some of my financial problems and I am grateful for the opportunities crypto has given me. Through the bounties to the altcoin trading, it really is more profitable than just investing my money in HYIP or Ponzi schemes. Crypto also makes my life more convenient because I can send money from all over the world and store my money in a virtual wallet without worrying too much about the hassle banks have given me. Based on my experience crypto has never let me down in terms of storing my money and cashing it out whenever I need to, Crypto is the future of banking and currencies.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You can go wrong! on: March 10, 2018, 03:36:58 PM
If we learn from our mistakes, what words of caution would you like to share.
These are some words of caution I would like to share based on my experiences:

-Do not just rush into investing in coins that you think has a good concept, rather do sore further research about it, and stay active in it's community and see if they interact well with their potential investors.
-Before even joining a bounty make sure to check and research about the project and community.
-Always be alert of the coins you hold, even if it is a long-term investment. You might never know, sometimes a pump happens out of the blue.
-Do not just trust people whom they claim that they are trustworthy, mostly there are many scammers that claim this and that, just be careful and confirm that they are really legitimate people who is trying to help you(this is mostly the case for ICO investing)
-Always look at the big picture when investing in Altcoins, don't just be persuaded by people behind the community. It is better to be safe than sorry.
-Lastly, be patient and only invest what you can afford to lose.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How do you explain the bounty campaign? on: March 10, 2018, 03:23:42 PM
When I earned my first money with the bounty, people around me (especially my family) asked me where did my money came from. When I told them that it came from bounty campaigns, I saw their puzzled face. So I explain it to them with this analogy: "When politicians are running for office, they always show their faces in public in order for them to remember. They give flyers with their name and platforms in it. ICOs are like politicians and their elections is called bounty campaign. We make the ICO popular by posting in forums, social media sites, and creating videos and article." And they quickly understood it so every time someone ask me about bounty campaign, I always used this analogy. How about you?
Great analogy there, but I usually explain it to my family and other people who ask me in full details about what I do. and this is precisely my explanation: Bounty campaigns are more like advertising, but rather than promoting a specific product, I am promoting a company's project which can be a new innovative way to transact online with their platform. I earn through some sort of advertising and by advertising I meant that I have an account on this forum called bitcointalk, my account in the forum wore a signature or you can compare it to an advertisement, from the company that I am currently working for and I post in different sections in the forums to be able to spread the companies name and project to others, and these investors that invest in the company's project are the ones who help us earn through giving us a share of what they have collected. This is a long explanation but after all, said and done they seem to understand the concept of how I earned my money.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: do you think younger generation is more open to technology? on: March 10, 2018, 02:55:18 PM
Does technology favor the young! Do you think we need younger lawmakers to translate the language of cryptocurrency.
Yes, today's generation of teenagers has a lot of knowledge when it comes to using technology. I even knew teenagers participating in Crypto and the youngest teen I knew was 16 years old. They can trade and do bounties on their own without anyone even teaching them, I think they can easily adapt to the online terms/definitions specifically Cryptocurrency terms. I think the younger generation can easily understand and explain the concept of cryptocurrency better than their elders. In my opinion, young teenagers tend to understand the concept of cryptocurrency more because they are more open-minded than most adults and they tend to learn crypto easily because they are born with technology with their hands, they are simply used to using technology that they learn by themselves, and that's why I think the vast majority of teens I met that does trading and bounties are self-taught about these things, they end up exploring and learning by themselves rather than being dependent on others to teach them.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What am I to do? on: March 10, 2018, 02:34:43 PM
Don't panic and don't sell anything. Just hoLd. Come back few months later.
I agree, just be patient and wait for the market to get on track, and your coins will be back to its previous state if not a higher value. If the coin you invested in is really useful and innovative and the community behind it is still active then there is really no need to worry because it will still remain volatile and active. Just wait for a little while, don't panic sell because you will only lose what you have invested in the beginning. Relax and watch your coins for at least 2 months then you will get the verdict if it is still alive and well or if it turned out to be a sh*tcoin.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest or bounty? on: March 10, 2018, 02:18:09 PM
Hello!

How do you prefer to get crypto? Do you invest or you prefer to join bounty?

Also, check out bounty and token sale campaign of this project https://ico.kickcity.io/
Interesting to know your opinion  Smiley

I actually prefer both Investing especially in altcoins and Bounty. Although in my perspective, I think Investing is more convenient especially if you have money to do so, all you got to do is wait for your coins to grow and then cash it out. Its only downside is it has a risk factor of losing your money if the coin I invested in fails or dumps. Bounty, on the other hand, is risk-free, no money will be lost and you can gain tokens by only doing tasks that are required for the bounty. I got into crypto without a single dime to spent for investing, so I started off by doing bounty campaigns and earning enough money to be able to invest and trade in different altcoins, I would prefer to do that also if you are a beginner.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Long term vs. Short term on: March 10, 2018, 02:01:16 PM
How are you handling your portfolio? How much are risking in % of your portfolio in short term gain vs. Long term gain?
I am handling it pretty well, as of now I think I am going to stick with short-term investments specifically because IMO short-terms investments are easier to predict and are less hassle than always checking one single coin day after day. Whilst in short-term investments I only wait for the pump of the value then I sell it, I usually do this on new and fresh projects that still has an ongoing ICO, but of course, I make sure that the altcoin I am going to invest in is legitimate and can profit largely after its release. I am risking 50% in terms of my investments because the other half is in Bitcoin and Ethereum. Those two coins are my long-term investments, and nothing else.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you buying altcoins on: March 10, 2018, 01:45:07 PM
With BTC in such a strong uptrend atm, are you buying altcoins right now? A lot of them are kind of 'cheap' and have been falling while BTC have been increasing.
Yes, I am buying altcoin while the price is still at its lowest. I recently bought altcoins from ongoing ICOs, which I think is really promising and the platform is really innovative in terms of today's trends. My portfolio is full of high potential tokens, 2 of them are from ongoing ICOs and the others are some other alts which I am still waiting to see grow. I believe in the coins I have invested in and their volume is pretty decent and volatile, I also hold a bit if Bitcoin and Ethereum just to make sure I profit from them as well if ever they have any pump.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to earn $ 15.000 for two days? on: March 10, 2018, 01:17:05 PM
I've always wondered how people make big money without effort. I've heard that airdrops can help me with this, so found several channels with lists of airdrops. How do you think it is worth starting? Are there any pitfalls in this matter? Any advises?

Most of the airdrops nowadays worth nothing. If they distribute something, these coins are mostly worthless and have minor chances to reach really serious price. I'd advice you to consider joining some promising and interesting bounty campaigns instead.
I agree. I think airdrops are just a waste of my time especially if I know that a project isn't really necessary and they try to give away tokens which has little if not no value at all. I would prefer doing Bounty or trading, yes you will have to work to earn money off of it. But to be brutally honest with you, there is no such thing as an easy money in the Crypto world, everyone needs to work hard in order to earn. Well, I know one way to earn without doing hard tasks, but in order to achieve that you need to find the perfect place, the perfect hardware, and a lot of money to start off. What I am talking about is mining. You can just sit around and let your miner do its job, well for the most part at least. What I suggest you do is join bounty campaigns and work as hard as you can to earn your coins and make money, after earning enough money you can try investing or trading.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Holding is bullshit? on: March 10, 2018, 01:06:03 PM
Because your coins is bullshit too, that is why there are no improvements,HOLDING good altcoins and tokens will give you a lot of profits but holding these shitcoins which doesnt have good working product/services wont give you anything even you waited hundreds of years.Do a lot of research find new potential coins or projects only invest to good projects, read whitepaper check the team, the current developments and im sure your holdings will give you much better outcome.
Yes. That's exactly what you need to know when you plan in investing in Altcoins, always remember that not all altcoins can be successful especially in the long run, most altcoins that succeed are meant for short-term investments. And take note of what he/she said about checking on what you are going to invest on. And don't invest in altcoins that seem rubbish or those that you think isn't going to last in long-term investments. Do a little bit of research first before deciding what altcoins you are going to add to your portfolio. Holding is not bullsh*t as long as what you invest on isn't a shitcoin. Consider your investment a lesson from which you learned.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do with the rewards you received? on: March 08, 2018, 01:36:22 PM
I will keep one again if it succeeds because I have to give and receive, the law of nature.
When I received my rewards from mostly bounty campaigns, I usually see if many people still invest in it and if the volume is stable, usually I pick projects that I think will last a little longer after its release in the exchanges. I choose projects which I know is relevant and innovative to the crypto community. My decision whether I sell or hold depends on the coin's status, if it loses its hype then surely, its volume will lessen, before this happens I will sell my tokens while the volume is still high. I mostly sell the coins after it has at least doubled the original value of my reward, but it also depends on the status of the coin, I sometimes predict its future price If I can speculate the possibilities of its future value.
