It would be much more practical to support mnemonics in bitcoin core, at least for import, instead of using xprivs in the descriptor, we would have an extra function to import a descriptor containing a mnemonic, e.g.:
importdescriptors '[{"desc":"combo(bip39([word1,word2,word3...],passphrase/0/*))#fingerprint","timestamp":"now"}]'

By the way, is there a safer way to get the xpriv root bip32 to import into bitcoin core as a descriptor without using iancolam.io, since it is an html file that opens in the browser?

OP we need more details.

Have you loaded the exact same wallet file onto two different PCs?

What version of bitcoin core is used on both PCs?

In one of the wallets where you requested new receiving addresses, what are the address initials? Do they start with the prefix 1 (legacy), 3 (p2sh-segwit) or bc1 (native segwit)?

See that in the receive tab, there is a button to switch the type of address to be generated, next to the Amount label and BTC acronym.

OP mentions that he had an old wallet, when loading these two wallets on different machines, a warning appeared that you were using a legacy wallet? Did you migrate from a legacy wallet to one with a descriptor in each of the wallets on your two PCs?

Op mentions that it generated 5 new addresses on one of the copied PCs, but only one matched. This leads me to believe that the wallets are possibly generating the same addresses, but the OP is generating them in different formats and did not specify this.

Parando pra pensar, a única pessoa que eu conheço que seja um ex-bitcoiner seja o Avelino Morganti conforme o @TryNinja citou, o cara era fera e entendia do assunto, do nada vestiu o chapeu de alumínio e começou a falar mal do Btc endeusando os metais, como se somente eles importassem, dizendo que a mãe de todas as crises viriam (e realmente ela veio, que é o corona effects), mas as pessoas se recuperaram e o Bitcoin, que muitos achavam que não iria performar bem nessa crise, até que chegou a performar muito bem (depois do crash do coronaday).

É claro que o Ouro é um ativo milenar e não deve ser ignorado, mas o Bitcoin é o ouro digital e que é inconfiscável se estiver na wallet do usuário.

Sobre fazer o caminho inverso, de pegar a seed bip39 para gerar a mnemônica eu não sei, posso fazer uma pesquisa sobre isso mais tarde pra ver o que descubro.

É mais seguro guardar a frase semente, pelo simples motivo de que 99% das carteiras recuperam através da frase semente, algumas carteiras como a Electrum, Sparrow e Bitcoin Core (Não me lembrei de outras), permitem recuperar através da xpriv.

Ter a frase semente como backup é a forma de backup absoluto e com ele você consegue derivar a seed bip39, xpriv, xpubs e por fim os endereços.

Curiosidade: Recuperar através da xpriv se torna interessante se a carteira que você está usando, como a Electrum, não deixa você exportar a frase mnemônica (se você tiver importado uma carteira bip39) e você quer usá-lo em outra carteira, por exemplo, a wasabi, você deve pegar o xpriv dessa carteira na Electrum. Isso é só um exemplo.

Quando você importa uma frase mnemônica BIP39 na Electrum, ela simplesmente não salva essa frase mnemônica após você configurar essa carteira, ela salva somente o xpriv, tanto é que não há aquele botão de semente para visualizar as 12 palavras mnemônicas, isso só está disponível se você criar uma carteira standard nativamente na Electrum.

Plus, algumas carteiras como a Sparrow, permitem você carregar uma carteira electrum importando o arquivo de carteira da Electrum, sem a necessidade de passar dados privados (frase semente, seed bip39, xpriv e etc).

Primeiro, é importante entender em quais situações usaremos os 3 métodos para recuperar uma carteira e o site iancoleman (que deve ser usado offline para casos extremos), na falta de um, poderemos usar o outro.

Exemplo, se eu não tiver a frase mnemônica, mas tiver a xpriv da carteira (algumas carteiras não geram mnemônicos, mas são carteiras HD, como o Bitcoin Core), com a xpriv eu consigo recuperar os fundos da carteira.

Se por algum motivo o usuário salvar a seed em formato hex, é possível colar ela no site do iancoleman e através da seed hex, eu consigo gerar o xpriv (de Account Extended Private Key) para recuperar esta carteira.

Eu fiz os 3 testes, mas somente 2 deles funcionaram na Electrum: Recuperação pela Frase mnemônica (12 palavras) e Xpriv (Chave privada mestre), para recuperação, a Electrum funciona apenas com esses dois, os passos estão abaixo:

1 - Criei uma nova frase mnemônica, contendo a seed e a xpriv (essa xpriv não usaremos para a recuperação, tem que ser outra).



2 - Fiz o teste de recuperação usando a frase mnemônica:



3 - Endereços dessa wallet restaurada na Electrum pela frase mnemônica:



4 - Agora vamos tentar recuperar essa mesma carteira usando a Xpriv, para isso, quando fores selecionar a opção de restaurar carteira, selecione conforme abaixo:



5 - Você precisa inserir essa xpriv de "Account Extended Private Key" que ficam nas abinhas BIP44, 49 ou 84 do iancoleman:



6 - Importe a xprivkey



7 - Repare que esta carteira que teve a xpriv importada, recuperou/gerou exatamente os mesmos endereços e chaves privadas que a carteira recuperada pela frase mnemônica do passo 3:



Bônus: você pode obter a xpriv de uma carteira na electrum (standard ou bip39) com o comando: getmasterprivate() no console da Electrum (vai pedir sua senha, caso esteja criptografada).

What I'd add to Electrum (which I think is impossible to happen, as the devs have no interest in this at all) is support for address types all in the same wallet (just like in Bitcoin Core).

At electrum, if I want to create a p2sh-segwit, segwit, etc. wallet, I have to import the seed again to change the script/derivation path, which I think is unnecessary.

Another thing I'd add to Electrum is the function of importing private key directly into a standard wallet, so the imported key would be saved in the same electrum wallet file (not from the same seed!), just like in bitcoin core, I think There is no need to create a new import wallet file just for this.

É isso aí @Pumared! Sua resposta está correta!, enquanto uma semente é uma sequencia de caracteres hexadecimais, o mnemônico então é usado para então codificar esse conjunto de caracteres hexadecimais em palavras para facilitar a compreensão a nível humano.

Informações adicionais:

Tanto a semente, código mnemônico e o xpriv podem ser usados para recuperar uma carteira e esses três itens vai derivar todas as chaves privadas, e consequentemente, os endereços dessa carteira, os endereços serão os mesmos indepentendemente de qual item usar para recuperação, a Electrum pode ser usada para recuperar os três.
