So the point is, the more I come here, the more I understand how the merit system works. I can never expect all of them to have the same ways and habits but I can expect them to do what is best for the community. Instead of expecting perfection from merit source, then find your own way to contribute to whomever you think is worthy regardless of whether you like doing it on a local board (recommended) or on a global board. I think it's great if you have the desire to contribute to the local board because it can be one of the things you can be proud of when you are able to do a lot of things. But I don't urge you to do that because maybe you have your own way of how you want to contribute whether it's about merit or maybe with your quality posts. Just to share, that all this effort was rewarded today, having reached the Legendary level.

New application, new posts. Personally, I haven't updated a series of under merited posts in my merit source app thread. Maybe that's good advice for me too at the moment, so I'll get some some good quality posts that lack merit for updating the thread later. Actually I really want to get more good posts from users under Legendary to include in the latest update in my merit source app, so you think that's a good idea? Or do I have to get more good posts of Legendary rank for that? |

Ronaldo can still be a key figure in the United's team, Ronaldo is a player who wants to play and wants to compete at top levels and I don't support the idea of criticizing and blaming him for being ambitious, every other players who wants a move away from their current club for one reason or the other will do the same so why does the case of Ronaldo have to be different. I don't think Ronaldo will leave the United squad. if the deal with Antony is successful, it won't be an obstacle for Ten Hag to play both. I'm sure Ten Hag hasn't found a good formation and main squad for United either. United is still looking for players in the rest of the transfer market. and after all that I'm sure we'll see United's true strength. Ronaldo has urged Manchester United to sell him and I think his unprofessional behavior has become a problem recently which has made Manchester United appear to have agreed to end its partnership with Ronaldo. I'm not sure about his future at Manchester United this season, but there's a chance he'll want to stay if Manchester United's form improves like they beat Liverpool. A lot of fans hope he doesn't leave Manchester United this season, but I don't see him very enthusiastic about staying longer for a team that doesn't play in the Champions League. Don't know how many applications are pending for merit source on the meta board but still I support your application and hope @theymos see a need to increase the limit of merit sources as some of them are not active enough or sending relatively very low smerits so he must reconsider the merit source list and add one or two new to the forum. I also have the merit source app and it's still pending so far. I don't really expect theymos to agree and accept my application as a merit source if he actually finds another user who is more capable and worthy of the free work. OP, if I were the boss of the company then I would have screened completely because I thought it would be good for my company. It's not that I hate gamblers, but it's good if the employees I have can appreciate his hard work for something that is valuable to him, his family and others. However, I have no right to regulate other people's lives outside the context of their professionalism at work. It's his life, and that's his right but I just want them to be able to focus on work without being distracted by his gambling habits.
But there are many cases where these employees are not able to work properly after they become very bad gamblers. They lose focus on their work and can even bankrupt their owners financially. This happened to several store employees whose owners I knew all along.

Of course there is no guarantee for any team in the league to have a wonderful season. Consistency is key for the teams fighting for the league title. For example I assume most of us expected a comfortable win from Barcelona against Vallecano. Their performance was very impressive to do so as well but Vallecano were lucky to get one point anyway. This kind of results are a part of football. However hopefully they shouldn't have the same incident against Valladolid as well. You said it right and yes I agree with you. All teams hope to get maximum points from each match but they can't do anything when their opponent is a big team with better quality players. The only way out is to focus players on defense and prevent more attacks from the opponent until the end of the match while taking advantage counter attacks. This strategy is widely adopted by mid-table and lower-level team coaches to get points. But I wouldn't say everything will work out when top teams are able to explore mistakes made in defense to score goals. I also hope that the same situation will not be experienced by Barcelona in the next match, especially after they won the match against Sociedad with convincing score. |

After tearing Real Sociedad apart Barcelona have an easier game on the horizon. Valladolid wouldn't be a big deal for them. The players seemed very confident in their last game. I assume that many of us expected a competitive game there. Lewandowski has adapted very fast so this means that Barcelona won't need Aubameyang much from now on. Chelsea are still fighting for him to finish the deal quickly. I'm sure one win won't mean much because it's still possible for Barcelona not to play consistently. Barcelona is still likely to lose even though in terms of quality Barcelona is better than Real Valladolid. I would not underestimate anywhere even if they are not as good as a top team like Barcelona or Real Madrid. It is reassuring indeed when we see how Barcelona struggled to win the match against Real Sociedad last week. It was a big win for Barcelona and also for their players. Yes it's extremely hard task for merit sources who are handing out huge merits in each Tx to different users on the forum to check for them if they are banned or not because first they have to check for quality post made by members,then also make their own post and also have IRL jobs to perform so it's time consuming task for them being merit sources to check before meriting any post.But if they have BPIP extensions installed then they would have the status of the users before hand which could help a lot. I don't think it's too difficult when they want to post merit on posts they meet while discussing in a thread, for example the latest posts. Then something I believe is that many merit source will not send merits to currently banned users especially on their past posts, but they may have sent them before the user was banned. Lots of examples of that. Personally, I wouldn't knowingly merit a banned member, and not because they might have made a decent post. I'm sure you'll never get a review request from them again because they've been blocked, so maybe they'll be ignored especially since their posts have been sunk by dozens of pages (if any in megathread). |

They are very fast and this is something I have rarely seen from Manchester United so far. Liverpool struggled to develop their game and they were quite easy to lose the ball due to high pressure from the Manchester United players. So no doubt if Manchester United could win that game because Liverpool barely made a very dangerous opportunity for Manchester United. I thought Manchester United's defense was really good today, so it's true that Maguire has had to sit on the bench a lot more this season than was in a lot of Ten Hag's game plans. |
