1961  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: November 20, 2022, 06:34:10 PM
According to Transfermarkt, Benzema is expected to return on December 12. Maybe he will miss many matches with France but he can at least be ready to play for Real Madrid later on. He is still very important for the team to be more successful. They need his contribution in the La Liga to fight harder against Barcelona for the league title. Benzema's score contribution has played a big role for Real Madrid for a long time.

I assume that Real Madrid won't be in search of a striker in January as Benzema is coming back. Otherwise they might have bigger problems in the Champions League as well.
Regardless of Benzema being able to return sooner or not, then I think it's time for Real Madrid to think about a striker to replace the very injury-prone Benzema. It's not that Real Madrid aren't sure about Benzema, but this team needs a player they can rely on when their main striker is injured.

So in my opinion, Real Madrid should have another striker who can help the team and they should be able to sign him in the January transfer window. If not, then I'm sure Real Madrid will struggle in the Champions League this season. Remember, luck won't always be on their side, so Madrid shouldn't just rely on Benzema all season.
1962  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: November 20, 2022, 06:24:16 PM
I think it's safe to say that Qatar will be the outsider in this World Cup. I will be really surprised if they manage to secure even one point in the next two matches. If they score a goal, that will be their biggest achievement.
I understand why you say that, and I think you are right that it will be very difficult for Qatar to win the group stage match if they perform like they did today. Not many people have to be convinced about Qatar especially if they want to win something at gambling, they are very unconvincing today. I only watched the first half, there was nothing to hope for other than an Ecuador win.
1963  Other / Meta / Re: theymos; is this a merit system bug? on: November 20, 2022, 04:27:23 PM
And if someone has found their way to your ignore list, they surely most have made many things wrong to deserve being there (this is my personal opinion), hence why merit their posts?
I can tell you that nothing really matters about my question, it's just my curiosity about how it works. Someone who has been on my ignore list right now deserves to be there, but I'm always open to seeing if they change next time or not. So far my ignore list will be not permanent for certain users. I don't think it's fair to those who are able to change their behavior as long as it's not a scammer.
1964  Other / Meta / Re: The resurrection of an old topic. on: November 18, 2022, 08:16:01 PM
As long as it's fairly substantial, and contributes to the discussion it doesn't matter all that much. The problem is, we've got several threads being bumped that were posted back in 2013, 2012, 2011, and with no actual contribution whatsoever.
In my case, I tend to consider substance or something important before bumping my old thread. Urgency and something important I should consider instead of creating a new thread for the same discussion.

There are a lot of old threads bumping by newbies lately, I know they are useless because something they post is not substantial. All user need to avoid it, because chances are that if this newbie post gets deleted for being reported then the post below it will also be deleted.
1965  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: [Tutorial] BlueWallet - Bitcoin Wallet on: November 18, 2022, 08:03:47 PM

Kompatible untuk: iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch.

Tapi untuk keamanan yang extra kuat, menurut saya Hardware tetap akan menjadi pilihan terbaiknya.
1966  Other / Meta / Re: The resurrection of an old topic. on: November 18, 2022, 07:47:34 PM
I have a question, what if an old topic is raised and a discussion starts, and users actively quote the OP giving a targeted answer to his post, don't people see the date the thread was created?
Any threads that have been inactive for at least 120 days will automatically notify posters like this:

Quote
Warning: this topic has not been posted in for at least 120 days.
Unless you're sure you want to reply, please consider starting a new topic.

That means every poster will realize he posted about something on an old topic, but if it matters then I don't think that should deter him from posting instead of creating a new thread. But the thing is, some posters are purposely bumping that thread for something so insignificant. In some cases such posts will be deleted, and the thread will be locked by the moderator.
1967  Economy / Speculation / Re: Cold storage ALL your crypto or withdraw fiat into your bank account NOW!!! on: November 18, 2022, 07:19:57 PM
Stop this panic, everyone should be aware that the exchange is not a safe depository for their assets. Therefore, they don't have to withdraw their funds because of FTX, but rather the safety of their assets.

Somehow I think the impact of FTX will continue to spread, but don't let it turn into FUD for crypto. I will be making withdrawals not because of FTX or anything else going wrong, but purely because I care about the safety of my assets in the long term.
1968  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Balances on Exchanges - Sudden rise in the balance of Binance on: November 18, 2022, 03:01:09 PM
Based on recent announcement of CZ, Binance has a total of 475K Bitcoin reserves and probably the source of this new additions supply of token on Binance since they lose some liquidity from there customer to replenish it. I doubt that those crypto user that withdraw is the one who deposit again since most of them is now using DEX.

Binance is know for manipulation. They are good on this to show that everything is back to normal and let user be confident on using the CEX again since everyone is coming back.
The negative sentiment towards Binance seems to be increasing day by day and I don't think things will be so negative towards them as there are still many people who think Binance has been driving positive things towards increasing crypto users worldwide. In Indonesia, crypto users still strongly believe that Binance is one of the best exchanges compared to many local exchanges, this is a positive thing for Binance and the crypto economy in general.

But people should realize that Binance is just an exchange that should not be a long term investment asset wallet. Use the exchange as is, and withdraw funds from it after we trade your assets. It's simple, but they have a choice whether to trust a centralized exchange like Binance or not. About the possibility of manipulation, and yes I think it's one of Binance's efforts to appear safe for its customers. But it seems a lot of people are starting to realize that.
1969  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: November 17, 2022, 05:29:58 PM
If Barcelona cannot win the La Liga title, they will have to face a huge financial loss. Because they have already left the Champions League. The team has many loans, which they desperately need to win the La Liga title to pay off.
I don't care how bad financially Barcelona think you are whether they have a loan or not. I'm not really interested in keeping abreast of much about the financial condition of the team recently built with renewed passion and confidence by Xavi. Barcelona has failed to live up to high expectations in the Champions League, that's normal for any team even if they are financially unhinged.

At Laliga, you probably have to admit they are the best so far. Barcelona is ahead of Real Madrid and 18 other teams in 14 matches in the first half of the season. So there's no reason why I'm doubtful about them for now although in the second half of the season the competition will very likely be tougher.
1970  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: November 17, 2022, 05:17:17 PM
if we look at the performance of the two teams since the start of the season, both of them have been inconsistent, Dortmund, which is the same as last season, which did not develop rapidly, they have not been able to be consistent, while Chelsea have not been able to be consistent after changing coaches.

so I think it's an even match and both of them still have the same chance to qualify for the next round.
there is not much difference between the two teams and what determines who will qualify is the team that is more prepared at that time, because in terms of performance and quality the two are not much different and both also have problems with consistency.
Chelsea are more convincing than Dortmund in the Champions League, and Chelsea also looks like a team that is more expected to qualify for the quarter-finals this season than Dortmund.

For now it is very difficult to determine who is most worthy for the Chelsea vs Dortmund match, but I believe that neither of them will want to lose either at home or away. I checked several casinos/ sportbook to find out the odds of the two teams for this match, the result is that Chelsea looks the favorite with lower odds than Dortmund. This means that Chelsea is believed to have won the match compared to Dortmund, for the first leg.
1971  Other / Meta / Re: Query on "do not keep your money in online accounts" on: November 17, 2022, 04:54:23 PM
You are right and i would love to use a hardware wallet but I live in a country where crypto is in grey areas and not legally accepted. If i order a ledger wallet from their official site, the wallet will reach my country but may be retained at customs and they may start investigating as who order this crypto wallet and that person must be holding a lot of crypto and bitcoin. Due to this, i don't order it online.
I don't know which country you're from, but I'm sorry that your country's government seems to have seemingly strict rules for crypto users even if you don't use it as a means of payment. I don't think my country's government will intercept delivery of a hardware wallet at customs even though currently crypto is not legalized as currency and legal tender.

There are some local merchants who are selling Ledger wallets locally but i have heard not to trust those hardware wallets from the people who are selling indirectly. For example, buying from Amazon and eBay can be risky too.
I'm not very familiar with hardware wallets, but it looks like you can still verify the wallet is compromised or not with a few steps like:

1. Check Integrity of Hardware Wallets
1972  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: November 17, 2022, 04:43:51 PM
Very rarely is there a case like your question, they will not do something that could destroy their career.
Of course it rarely happens, but something like this has happened before so worrying about a decline in players is still a valid thought. After all, not all players will be as disciplined as you say, so it is possible that some of them will return to the team with unexpected changes.

Concerns about the decline in player performance after the break are unfounded, i never thought it would happen. All players will continue to do things that can improve their performance during the world cup break.
No, things like this have happened even you can find out about it in the media. In the past, Ronaldinho, Adriano, Antonio Cassano, and several other top players have experienced it and that is an undeniable fact.
1973  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: November 17, 2022, 01:52:08 PM
I don't know why people are worried and thinking that after the world cup game players will change in their performance. . I believe whether world cup or no world cup changes in performance can occur in a team at anytime, I don't think world cup game is a good excuse for teams to perform poor.  World Cup game is an opportunity to build up the skills in players. Manchester United  are not doing bad in performance,  they still have good players but they need to improve more.
It could be that a player's decline in performance is caused by things other than their participation during the World Cup, this could mean that the player is not controlling his diet or physical fitness during the holidays. The fact that not all the players will be involved in the World Cup will allow them to be a bit less in control.

The question is, have you ever heard that a player is no longer at his best after a break or vacation due to weight gain? This will probably answer your questions and doubts.
1974  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: November 17, 2022, 01:45:32 PM
Well 2 years, does he have to go? So if he does leave, who will replace him? There are still quite a lot of opportunities for the League and UEL champions. So let's see.
Financial problems, this season Xavi is quite surprising. He shopped quite a lot of players. But I've read, Barcelona is likely to have difficulty paying players' salaries in the following year.
I'm not really sure what I read in the media, sometimes it's not true and can't be believed. We know Barcelona's finances are not great, but they are still operating and being a competitive team in the league. I know Barcelona owe their players salaries, but that's an internal team problem that really has nothing to do with a lot of people.

So far, sponsors seem to be helping Barcelona a lot to reduce the financial burden facing the team. It may never solve everything, but chances are sponsorship will help mitigate the problem. If that doesn't help much, then I believe Barcelona will have to sell a lot of their assets again.

For bitcoin i am already using electrum, for Ethereum, i am using MEW wallet and for the other tokens/coins i will switch my wallet from trust wallet to the open source software that is Unstoppable wallet.
Hardware wallet will allow you to control all assets freely in one wallet, why don't you have one?
I must say that I don't own any altcoins including ETH or USDT at the moment anywhere. So I guess electrum is good enough to be my current storage wallet. But when my bitcoin are getting more and more, the most recommended choice is hardware wallet.
1976  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto storage Trust Wallet on: November 16, 2022, 06:44:38 PM
An investor's priority should be to ensure security. Many alternatives are offered, but your priority should be your safety. So don't risk your safety to be more comfortable.

The safest option is to keep your money in a hardware wallet.
I don't know how many bitcoin the OP has so he doesn't consider a hardware wallet one of the safest wallets. But if the OP has $10K - $20K more in bitcoin right now then not having a hardware wallet certainly doesn't make sense. It might be worth saving it in Electrum if it's not much, but it's not recommended to keep it on a device that's always connected to the internet like an android or whatever.

In addition to the advantages of asset security, hardware wallets also support altcoin like USDT, ETH or more, which makes it easy for users to have only 1 piece of hardware to store multiple assets.
1977  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: November 16, 2022, 05:59:18 PM
It could be that this time it will be different. I see that Inter Milan is not so consistent in Serie A, but if you meet Napoli, as a team that has won 15 times, it will be quite difficult, even though Inter Milan will prepare as long as the match has not started, meaning there is more than a month in preparation for against this formidable Napoli.
But I hope something is different, maybe Inter Milan will stop Napoli's victory? this is still a question mark for me because Napoli are super strong while Inter have a good record with Napoli to be honest H2H won't guarantee for either of them.
In football everything is possible, nothing is impossible. In fact Inter are one of the strongest teams in Serie A, there is no need to underestimate them even though at the moment they are not very convincing about their form. Napoli could drop points if Inter are too determined to maintain their good record, and this is always possible.

I will be happy if Napoli drop points in this match regardless of draw or defeat. I think an Inter win would be better for Serie A, it would close the gap in points between first and second in the standings a bit.
1978  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: November 16, 2022, 05:39:40 PM
Without active on next window transfer I think both team between Chelsea and Dortmund are in the poor performance right now, have lucky for postponed match with international break out seems Chelsea and Dortmund have enough time take recovery and back to the top performance. Chelsea's appearance this season has been very tragic, since Graham Potter replaced Thomas Tuchel so far he has not been able to provide the best performance for Chelsea.

Dortmund are also in poor performance at the moment, two consecutive defeats in the Bundesliga have knocked them out of top fourth standing, likely match Chelsea vs Dortmund not as big match depending both team standing on domestic league.
Both teams look less good when viewed from the performance in their respective leagues. But for me, Chelsea is much better to be the favorite in this match considering they look more experienced. However, I dare not guarantee that Chelsea will be able to win the match against Dortmund if their performance does not improve.

For now, I think everything is still very difficult to determine. Chelsea was great, but Dortmund didn't look bad either. Both teams have chances to win the match, but maybe in the Champions League experience will benefit Chelsea.
1979  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: November 16, 2022, 05:12:01 PM
from the record meeting between Inter Milan and Napoli, in 5 matches Napoli were unable to beat Inter Milan with 3 defeats and 2 draws. But it will be a different matter now that Napoli have a promising performance, especially now that Inter Milan are not good at building defence. However, if we look at it now, because this match will be held in January. Inter Milan is still very scary in terms of meeting record, but Napoli want to improve their meeting record by winning this match too to maintain their unbeaten streak in 15 matches. The two coaches will compete tactics to beat each other in the match.
The head-to-head record is sometimes of little use to a team with a good record like Inter if their current form is not good. But Inter can win the game against Napoli if they really want to maintain that record, and for me this is the chance.

However, Napoli, who are currently in their best form, may still be very difficult to beat by Inter. But, since this game is still long enough to look forward to, Inter's preparations for facing Napoli will probably be better. I think Inter deserved to earn full points in that match without neglecting Napoli's current strength.
1980  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: November 15, 2022, 07:57:43 PM
This season, Barcelona's performance has started to improve a little more,
Not a little, but they have performed very well in Laliga.

two points ahead of Real Madrid, of course, a result that is quite encouraging. But the season is still quite long, Xavi must realize that his squad has not been fully tested.
2 points ahead of Real Madrid is proof that Barcelona is a better team than Real Madrid in Laliga. Very strong defense with only 5 goals conceded in 14 matches, no other team is on par like Barcelona right now on defense especially in the league.

Real Madrid is still the favorite to win La Liga. Even though they are behind Barcelona, they have a more complete squad than their rivals. It's just that Madrid is also still very dependent on Benzema, this is a concern for Ancelotti when Benzema is absent, Madrid will find it difficult to score goals.
If Real Madrid struggles to score goals without Benzema then I think they don't deserve to be a favorite. The problem is that you have to continue to score goals and win the match regardless of which players are absent. Barcelona might be in a similar situation, without Lewandowski they have also struggled to find the net so far.
