Some FYI from Cryptopia about their deposit/withdraw delays: "Deposit & Withdrawal Updates 16th February We are aware of issues with long processing times on deposits and withdrawals. This doesn't affect withdrawals of ETH, ETN, BTC, LTC or DOGE. We apologise for these and have been working hard on a resolution. As of early next week we expect deposit times to be back within normal ranges, while withdrawals may take longer to restore to normal operation. In the interim, please be aware that processing times on deposits or withdrawals may exceed 30 hours, although in most cases are likely to be less than this. Please don't submit support tickets relating to processing delays as we are unable to expedite these manually - our focus is on quickly resolving the issue for everyone. Thank you for your continued support and understanding The Cryptopia Team." https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/News

It is not about 'instant gratification' it is about being SMART. Why mine a coin that is not profitable AT THE MOMENT??? I can switch to something way more profitable and convert earnings to btc or even LUX. SoilCoin would give me at least twice the return atm. It is a shitcoin but it can be sold and converted into btc and I can then buy twice as many LUX with that. https://minethecoin.com/coin/soilcoinI'm getting around 4 Lux per week atm, at current prices, that is only about $52. If I can get $136 per week on soilcoin, I can trade that for around 10 LUX per week. I'M NOT A FUCKING CHARITY!! If you think that Lux is not enough profitable for you now , you are free to find coin with more income from mining of. Wont be telling u about a futureproof mining, everybody here is a grown guys and can decide what to do/mine. Good luck anyway

Hi,
I have send LUXCoins to Cryptopia and they have not been transfered to the exchange, but they are gone from my wallet. What is weird transaction id is, I can say, false? I am not able to track it, even though it has 677 confirms, it is now past 24 hours sind makeing the transaction. Anyone had the same issue?
Cryptopia is quite slow currently with some coins including Lux so deposits/withdraws is taking some time just take a patience.

Why can't I end the lux-qt.exe process under Windows 7 x64? I use latest 4.0.1 wallet, but the same behavior was with previous 3.x version.
Try to use alpha ver instead https://github.com/216k155/lux/releases

|
I was using the alpha before that and didn't have this problem. Then switched to beta and the wallet started crashing on exit. I've just tried switching back to alpha (replaced the 4 files from the archive) and now alpha is crashing too. Could you tell me where the wallet saves its settings exactly? When I first start the wallet it asks me where to store the blockchain and the wallet file. I chose the same folder where lux-qt.exe is (instead of the default appdata folder), and this choice seems to be saved somewhere else on the computer, cause even when I delete everything from the wallet folder and copy freshly downloaded wallet executables back to this folder — the new wallet doesn't ask me where to save the blockchain anymore, it just saves it wherever I chose in the previous wallet. Which means that this choice is saved somewhere else on the PC. But where?
Just make fresh instal with deleting all files from C:\Users\UserNameHere\AppData\Roaming\Lux(default lux folder) directory except wallet.dat where your coins stored. lux-qt could be anywhere. I don't have the Lux folder in Roaming. When you first start the Lux wallet it asks you where to save the blockchain and wallet files. By default it's the Roaming folder, but I'm not using it, I usually choose the same folder where qt is (cause it seems simpler to me to manage the files this way when updating/backuping/moving wallets/etc). But here's the thing. When I started using 4.0.0 it asked me this question on the first start, and I chose the same folder where qt is. When I decided to update to 4.0.1 (deleting all the files except the wallet.dat from the qt-wallet folder) it didn't ask me that question anymore, it just started to download the new blockchain into the same folder (which is d:\wallets\lux in my case). How did it know where to download the blockchain to this time? It looks like qt-wallet saves the user choice (folder where to store blockchain/wallet.dat/lux.conf/etc) somewhere else on the computer, the windows registry maybe? I just want to know where exactly. Thats why choosing defaut folder is required to not get confusing with new updates in future. Cant tell where wallet saving it logs that allows to remember place where it save the data, so you need to use os searcher to find where /Lux folder now placed in your system. Also u can try to find that log file in registry but I cant tell which one u need.

What is the mature time for coins on the wallet? is there anything else i need to do then add 'staking=1' to the config file and open the wallet for staking? Wallet says staking is not active.
Read here please https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2422372.msg30183800#msg30183800So what is happening with this coin? Is it safe to buy from Cryptopia or should I just wait for things to stabilize?
Yes, its safe for trading.

Should I encrypt my wallet for staking? Encrypt and keep it locked while POS not active yet Simple guide about work with wallet https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/388703503973089301/410969460912947201/How_to_guide_-_Windows_LUX_Wallet_V2.0.pdfNice project! Is anything necessary to activate PoS in wallet? Or will it work automatically after receiving min 1 lux?
When POS will be active yes, will begin staking automatically. "lux-qt ver.4.0" does not accept several coins with which in "lux-qt_v3.0.4" there are no problems. After "lux-qt ver.4.0" I loaded wallet.dat back in "lux-qt_v3.0.4", after synchronization all coins on the place. At "lux-qt_v3.0.4" only one active connection therefore not to send a coin to other purse. How to be?

Those who have issues with beta release can use alpha instead. Team on the way of final 4.0 release.
Is there probability of chainsplits if users use different version of wallet, dev? It's terrible if chainsplits occur. All chain (pools, exchange) already on new protocol so use latest wallet and you will be ok.

The issues are bad for value... Most crypto on a bull run, LUX dropping continuously. Please urge your devs to fix basic functionality in wallet, 4.0.1 beta really not good for any newcomer who didn't invest hours to read through previous posts (and why should he/she?)

Newbie with a great concerns here Mobile wallet will be released withing Q1 2018. Also besides desktop and mobile planned release of web wallet https://luxcore.io/roadmapThanks you for reply,I´l be waiting WALLET PROBLEM(or lack of my understanding how pools work) https://altminer.net/?address=LPRkpVtPLV6o5gHabps9Rgv46HFrBsn56ki should have near 3 LUX but my wallet is done loading(no green line) and i have only 1.55 LUX! (and total earned at pool is 2.99557074 LUX )This has happened before, number never matched 100%.(i am aware of delays) I also do not understand why is the wallet´s balance always going up and down on the chart when I am only receiving payment. I have stopped mining on this pool for now... In my wallet (transactions tab) I have a total estimate of 25 payments visible in the wallet of 0.06 LUX and that is 3 LUX but i have 1.55! Anyone know what is going on? Please join Lux discord and specify your issue there https://discord.gg/dFPhCnA

Hope this one finally runs okay. I'm not a coder myself, but the issues related to wallets were mostly in miscommunication. First dev team told us there is just wallet upgrade, then they advised it's a mandatory protocol upgrade, then the new wallet was supposed to be PoS and MN ready, upon which another update came out that the "new beta" is, and the "alpha" isn't. Now there's news that all of that is due to ddos and need for quick damage control, as well as there will be new "way" of rolling out updates. In my opinion it's not about the new way, it's about timely, clear and transparent communication to the community.
Thats why team released an announcement-update for more transparency with community https://www.luxcore.io/pdf/Community_Update_12-02-2018.pdfAlso there is #faq regarding current situation https://discord.gg/HEVeb4x
