I believe main problem of Intense is a too big total coin supply, even with current huge(for cryptonight coin) net hashrate its too simple to mine ITNS. Somekind of reducing total supply might help to lift up price, maybe decreasing of block reward, idk... Just my 5 cents.
It is just a matter of where they put the decimal point. I think it is fun to get a lot of coins even if each coin is not worth much. All of the coins you get are together worth something. The block rewards will be automatically decreased over time and the net hashrate is very low for intense coin compared to other coins so far. If the numbers go to MH/s instead of kH/s we will get less coins in mining rewards for the same mining hashrate. This may not be a problem because the price will also rise in future. This coin is still very young. In 2 years you maybe get 10 coins / day instead of 1000 for mining with one GPU but the price of each coin may be 100x higher than today. This is also the reason I don't want to sell my ITNS coins yet. Like your positive, hope its based on reality  Anyway, as Satoshi said, coin can't be cost less than 1 satoshi  |

So whoever was mining in pool.gold is fucked. And now they did a reset of the pool stats and request a screenshot in order to give you the coins we have lost. How the f are we suppose to give that, when you cleared the fucin stats?
So the only pool that is fucked is the official pool!!! Stupid devs
Where should we send this srceenshot to? 12hrs mining gone to shit. I had a few btg mined already, but got suspicious when stats stopped updating. Now I need to provide a screenshot ? To whom ? Their slack says "invalid invitation". Lol, amateurs. And how to hell I must do this screenshot if nothing to screenshot anymore cause of balance reset?! This launch so f***ing messy... You know what this reminds me off? The launch of zcash. Everyone trying to get the mining software to work with some edgy batch code that would loop and restart the miners. This is kind of the same thing except the problem is with getting the damn wallet to sync and pools that are half-assed. Read a few posts above or click here: Just an important note for everyone else to read in the future - I'm going to throw into question if people can actually fairly run simply a node at time of launch; there may be only certain parties that can really successfully connect to peers. I've tried and failed - used official win10 exe from bitcoin's gold's github, opened port 8338, and even followed raffern's suggestion below of the bat file with the full list of nodes raffern provided, multiple instances of leaving it on for 20min, and no connections "Connecting to peers" for 2-hours, tried multiple workarounds. Current time: 3:11 AM UTC Monday, November 13, 2017 Others (again i question those who say they subsequently got it to work): For anyone stuck syncing their wallet. Create a runme.bat file in the bitcoin gold folder using the following, then save as a .bat file and run

what does this mean? I thought the official bitcoin gold client was all we needed? I tried checking out version 0.15 instead of master from the github source, and that took the pre-relase message away. However I'm still not syncing any blocks (ubuntu 14.04) I have downloaded the official Bitcoin Gold Core Client, and it is running fine... and I am just not able to connect to anyone in the network. Any guidance for me? I have port 8338 open... do I have to boostrap to the Bitcoin Core Client?

OK, I found above the answer. Add a specific IP node via the command:
addnode "78.193.221.106" "add"
Issue resolved, now I am synching with that node, and found a second one (maybe via the same first one?).
I have downloaded the official Bitcoin Gold Core Client, and it is running fine... where you download it? From the offiical website, it just went live: https://bitcoingold.org/downloads/i have donwloaded direct on ghithub .. but i need a node list for add ... where can find node list? This nodes not work!
Not working for me either. Still stuck on 0 connections Didn't really got the point of your statement. Anyway wallet synching now, will be synched at few hours. |
