Hi Merc,
just signed up to your pool and happily mining away thus far.
Willing to shift more of my farm over to your setup but waiting to see if you are planning to make a few amendments.
1. Add more coins - i.e. DOGE is currently the most profitable, so it makes sense to also be mining this.
2. Add in 2 factor authentication. This will reduce the amount of time you have to deal with "password stolen" issues and increases the confidence people will have in the pool = more $$ in the end for everyone.
3. I seem to be having trouble with the irc server. My ISP blocks 6667 by default, would it be possible for you to enable 6697 +/- SSL support?

Guys, a little bit of help would be appreciated. Already upgraded my client to 1.5, but it is still not syncing completely with the blockchain, it intermittently reports that there are another 5-6k blocks that need to be synced. This disappears after awhile. 1) Will this go away after block 317,000? Or is it something completely independent? 2) Will adding/updating the nodes help? 3) I was previously mining on miners-pool.eu and currently there is a huge chunk of coins which I have yet to receive. Is there a way to ensure I get these coins before block 317,000? I apologize if I have any of the concepts down incorrectly. Also, three cheers to Artos for trooping along to make SBC a success! Upgraded to version 1.5, coins still missing and not syncing properly with network.... Guys, is it just me or is the client intermittently trying to sync with the network (~4172 blocks remaining) but unable to update. In the meantime, I have some coins trapped in limbo because the client isn't syncing. Is this partly due to the hardfork?? Here is the appended error file. (part of it)

Downloaded the latest client. Deleted the /AppData/Roaming/Stablecoin folder and overwrote the Stablecoin files with the latest version. Ensured that all ports are working (all my other wallets work fine). Still not connecting.  |

No I don't think you follow. It's just saying (out of sync) and 0 active connections to network. I have left the program open for three hours now on three separate occasions. I have attached an image below for you guys to see. And yes I've already opened up the correct ports because all my other wallets are working.  Yeah i had the same issue. Go to /USERNAME/appdata/roaming/ find the Stablecoin folder and delete it. MAKE SURE TO BACK UP YOUR WALLET FROM THAT FOLDER FIRST. Doing that will delete the files that are causing you troubles. Have fun!  Tried this but it didn't work either. Any other suggestions? |

Guys, need a bit of help here. This is my first time installing the SBC client and I want to get started on mining. Was previously mining BTC + LTC so not a newbie.
The Stablecoin client version 1.4 (latest only just downloaded from GitHub) is not syncing at all. I have already tried restarting both the client as well as the PC many times, made sure that the firewalls are set correctly. Also, other clients seem to be working just fine (Bitcoin-qt.exe). Obviously I did not run other clients simultaneously, lest there be conflict with ports etc.
The only conclusion I can come to is that there aren't any nodes close to me (if that makes any sense)??
Please advise on syncing with the blockchain.

They canceled my first ticket after 10 days. I sent a new one and it took them 1 day to respond and another day to let me move my coins. So overall it took me 13 days to get the money hold off. Now when you open a new ticket at btc-e there is a option for money hold problems.
I suppose the fact that there is now a "money hold problems" option within the help tickets is suggestive that this may be a diffuse problem? Strangely reassuring. |

Or if you have to go through the same crap getting the account re-authenticated every time you send funds in. Seems counterintuitive. I don't want to risk doing it again just because i'm hearing that people are still going through this problem. After my hold was released I bought BTC and withdrew. Now I have tempted fate and and wiring more money. If there is another hold, at least I can be reasonably assured the hold will be lifted at some point. The first hold was somewhat terrifying, I thought they may never lift it. Bad customer service and strange policies? Yes. Thieves? Not in my experience. I agree with you about btc-e's customer support, but until they address and fix this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=334039I will not deposit USD to their account. I don't think that it can be overstated that there is a third party in all of this, specifically the bank that they are dealing with. SEPA transfers (EU to EU countries) have a different regulatory process compared to international US to EU wires and thus a different amount of paperwork involved. It doesn't help that the exchange is open 24/7 whilst the banks are only open for a total of 39 hours a week in most European countries. Regardless, I too am interested in seeing how the US bank transfer works out. |

They fixed my money hold a couple of days ago after emailing them the necessary documents multiple times and opening many support tickets (as well as skype messages).
No I get that bit, however, have you transferred cash in more than once before? |

Just to chime in here, I too am having this issue with BTC-e. Wired the money and they deposited it into my account. Was able to trade to LTC. Now unable to withdraw LTC. Already verified account with passport and bank statement. Should we just wait out the 30 day mark?
