Don't know what you did, but the pool is not working for shit.  I have changed nothing in my scrypt or in my bat file, but I am getting an endless stream of "Found block for pool 0!" but NO "Accepted."

ONe thing I find intolerable is to have my computer crunching numbers uselessly.  Fix it!!!!!

All I did was to compile the new coindaemon and change the block time from 40 to 60 sec. This looks suspiciously like a sha256 miner connected. I just tried to throw one of my ASICs on it and got something similar, shares found on pool but rejected/not accepted. The 7950 I threw on it works just fine.
No, it isn't sha256 miner, nor is it an ASIC, it's an AMD R9 280x, the same one I've been using for a week, only now, all I get is "Found block for pool 0" over and over again.
What is your username on the pool?
Same as here, Catswold.  Right now, I'm on the coin-base.org pool, since it seems to be functioning.

There is no such user. Are we talking about the same pool and have you registered? Cause neither the admin panel nor the database have any user named Catswold... Or anything starting with Cat.
AS I said, I am not mining there right now, I'm over at coin-base, not SBC CryptoCult.

OOPS!  I'm on CryptoCult, not CryptoPool.  Sorry for the confusion.  Too many "cryptos" running around here. Grin

Lol, sorry for the confusion, it is 2am and I woke up way too early. Catswold said my pool did not accept his. I checked my pool and did not find any user matching his username. And you need to register a user and later a worker on that pool.  I am talking about http://sbc.cryptopool.it .

Oh okay, welcome to the Stablecoin forums anyway.

Also

How to update client? Should I back up the wallet first?
No need to backup the wallet. Just delete your old stablecoin-qt.exe and use the new one.

I did this and it seems to have worked just fine.

Got it. There is still no such user on the pool. I just checked the database and there was no user named Catswold Smiley

In other news we just mined our first 100 StableCoins, got two blocks within 15 minutes of each other.
I made it to your pool.  Looks good.  I'll be with you a while.

what's the actual process for getting listed on more exchanges?

is it up to the developers to negotiate with the exchanges, or do they listen to the community?

Because the server is overloaded by many new users, the pool moves to stronger hardware.
For my aktiv users: Please change to http://coin-base.info/stablecoin/ and do not forget to transfer your coins. All other settings were transferred to the new pool. You can start right there. You have only your miners change org against info .
Please use only port 3402. The stratum is now dynamic and adapts to the Miner. The other ports will soon go offline.
The new pool supports getwork on port 8402
If all pools have moved, move coin-base.org on the new server, and thus the final user.
The old pool is to be attained at all times, so that you can transfer your coins.

The new server is much more powerful, test it Smiley

Guys, need a bit of help here. This is my first time installing the SBC client and I want to get started on mining. Was previously mining BTC + LTC so not a newbie.

The Stablecoin client version 1.4 (latest only just downloaded from GitHub) is not syncing at all. I have already tried restarting both the client as well as the PC many times, made sure that the firewalls are set correctly. Also, other clients seem to be working just fine (Bitcoin-qt.exe). Obviously I did not run other clients simultaneously, lest there be conflict with ports etc.

The only conclusion I can come to is that there aren't any nodes close to me (if that makes any sense)??

Please advise on syncing with the blockchain.

Cheers.

No I don't think you follow.

It's just saying (out of sync) and 0 active connections to network.
I have left the program open for three hours now on three separate occasions.

I have attached an image below for you guys to see. And yes I've already opened up the correct ports because all my other wallets are working.

Yeah i had the same issue. Go to /USERNAME/appdata/roaming/ find the Stablecoin folder and delete it. MAKE SURE TO BACK UP YOUR WALLET FROM THAT FOLDER FIRST. Doing that will delete the files that are causing you troubles. Have fun!  Wink

Is there no link to the stable coins forum from the main stablecoin website? It really should be on there.

Is there a best practice for upgrading a wallet? Backup wallet, then just extract to folder?

Hey all, I just built a Mac version of the 1.4 wallet. It's available here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/1caiuhjors8xdo3/StableCoin-Qt-1.4.0.0-Mac.zip

Enjoy!

Mac here. I can confirm this works. Says 1.4 for me, may as well include it in the OP.

Do people even use the actual website to look for necessary SBC resources? It is hard to use IMO and has very little information on the website as if it were designed for a tablet or a smartphone and not for actual computers. Whenever I am looking for SBC information I go to this thread and never the website.

This is an example of a good cryptocurrency website that I actually use over the thread to get more information on the coin: http://digitalcoin.co/en/

Lots of information, different pages, lots of links and resources, links to pools; basically all the information anyone could want about Digital Coins is on that page, for Stable Coins however, if you want more information you're going to have to come to this thread. The Digital Coins website is also designed in a way that it's acceptable for Computers, Tablets, and Smartphones.

Well we could make a fund for the website.
