61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: bitcoin or ripple ? on: February 16, 2018, 10:00:46 AM
I like to go with bitcoin, it may take ripple a very long time to appreciate while the world is gradually tending towards bitcoin already.

63  Economy / Gambling / Re: When a Gambler/Player Dies on: February 14, 2018, 08:10:00 AM
This scares me on almost a daily basis.  It's best to have a benefactor (if you will) who knows your private keys and has access to your wallets.
Not that I have a lot of crypto but I would be heartbroken if something happened to me and all of my savings/investments were to go to waste  Cry
You are not the only one bros, though many people does not like to think about it. We live in a world of uncertainty, when we see or hear people dying, we dont tend to think that it can happen to us as well. Av seen a man who was on his bed and a friend came to visit him and he just escorted the friend out of the building and waved him goodnight just to be knocked down by a drunk driver. If such a man was on his system gambling, and it happens like that, what becomes of his bitcoins?. Sometimes i think about it.
64  Economy / Gambling / Re: Buying offshore betting accounts on: February 14, 2018, 07:50:52 AM
I was wondering if anyone would beinterested in selling a verified account at Betphoenix, Skybook, Betmania, Bet33....Most of the sportbooks available in Europe offer peanut sign up bonuses, reload bonuses are very rare and small. Unfortunately european players are not allowed signing up at most of the offshore bookies like Betphoenix etc.
. Let me know what you think.
I have some accounts i registered sometimes ago, let me check and confirm whether they are still valid and i get back.
65  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can I post in forums other than Beginners and help? on: February 13, 2018, 06:30:44 PM
You are surely can post, but do it only when it needs.

When is it not needed to post, can you explain further?
66  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price stabilizes? on: February 12, 2018, 05:34:11 PM
Something that can give us a little more volatility in price is Chinese New Year celebrations for the Year of the Dog begin in China
and follow across much of Asia, including Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.
Chinese mainland markets are closed Feb. 15-21.

There is no assurance yet that bitcoin has come to stabilise until what you have stated above is over and one may still watch what unfolds between now and march end.
67  Other / Off-topic / Re: If bitcoin goes to zero on: February 11, 2018, 05:02:49 AM
Rest goes to zero as well?

Which is kinda weird. Everything is measured in BTC. Which makes it the digital gold and bridge between $ (real world) anf crypto.
I doubt if this will ever happen, but if it happens i dont think the rest will also goes to zero cos there are coins greater than bitcoin in cryptomarket but it is reasonable to assume another coin will spring up if btc goes to zero cos its not the only coin available.
68  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bitcoin driving others on: February 10, 2018, 02:58:27 PM
I observed when bitcoin prices goes down, other cryptocurrencies also goes down and when it goes up, the same thing happens to others and i just dont know why cos i think different currency should go up or down at different times or are they all bitcoin dependent?
Bitcoin is not driving any other crypto currency and that there is no direct relation in between any of the crypto currency with that of bitcoin.
If its not driving them, why cant it move differently, why is it that whatever happens to it happens to other coins?
69  Other / Off-topic / Re: What kind of life do you think is perfect? on: February 09, 2018, 02:45:54 AM
No perfect life yet in this worldly system of things.

You should check properly in the market not all the coins are follow the same way. But many altcoins are followed it is depends on the Bitcoin technology.
Know many altcoins are following the Ethereum platform. The future most of the altcoins are following in NEO platform so this is temporary fluctuation in the market. But still are believe the Bitcoin technology
I know its not all in totality, but majority that are well known follows btc trend thats my point.
71  Economy / Gambling / Re: When a Gambler/Player Dies on: February 08, 2018, 10:21:29 AM
If owner is so generous, he would contact their family/friends. But, i don't think there is any clause on this.

The problem is that "IF" because a gambler and gambling site owner have something in common and that is "Quest to accumulate more and more".

But lets believe good owners still exist..

People is always been greedy when it comes to money and i do agree on saying that the quest to accumulate more and more which is true but good owners do still exist but the issue here is that they would really have a hard time on searching for that gamblers identity specially most of the time we do play anonymously and tracking informations about the person is nearly impossible.
And that is why i think it is good the site owners take more data of the player when doing registration eg. Next of kin name, address, phone number etc.

73  Economy / Speculation / Re: Your opinion about the fall of bitcoin on: February 07, 2018, 07:52:50 AM
there is a saying that "what goes up must come down", btc has gone up so much against other crypto and its time for it to fall before rising again.
74  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will under 5000 within this month do you think so on: February 05, 2018, 08:47:43 PM
The chance is high cos its going down more and more every day.
75  Economy / Speculation / Re: Your opinion about the fall of bitcoin on: February 05, 2018, 12:44:24 PM
I am not an expert in crypto analysis but i have read so many comments and realized that majority are of the opinion that the downward trend of bitcoin is temporary and normal and so it will soon bounce back, i like to agree with this.

77  Economy / Lending / Re: Will i ever get loan here? on: February 04, 2018, 08:51:01 AM
Thank you all for your replies. Infact, my question has been answered by you guys, but right now i am working on building my collateral to 120% of the loan i desire and by then i hope to apply.
78  Economy / Lending / Re: Lending Subforum Intro & Scam Trends on: February 04, 2018, 06:49:48 AM
General good practices:
  • Lending used to only require some sort of "proof of reputation" (anything from a long post history, ID, or Web of Trust stats to a full credit report) from lendees. Due to an exceptionally high incidence of scamming, this is generally no longer the case. You generally MUST put up some form of collateral (usually some type of alternative cryptocurrency, like Litecoin or Quark). This depends heavily on the lender, and physical collateral may also be accepted (motorcycles, watches, PMs).
  • Please refrain from requesting unnecessary "confidence loans" (a loan you don't need, but want to take out simply to show you'll repay). This was an issue a year or so ago, where scammers would take out incrementally larger loans, pay maybe .1BTC in interest, then take off with a 1BTC loan. A history of so-called confidence loans inspire more hesitancy than confidence.
  • This subforum has an exceptionally high amount of trolling. Legitimate lendees are scared away or simply don't care to subject themselves to unjustified degradation. Skepticism is okay, but please try to be civil. Either way - if you request a loan, be prepared.
  • Almost all loans issued in this subforum would be at rates considered to be exploitative in most countries. We're talking about something like 5-15% monthly (there are some more favorable alternatives, such as seeking out the Islamic Bank of Bitcoin). Use short-term loans responsibly, do not use loans for naked market positions or otherwise attempt to arb, and you should only use short-term lending from strangers as an absolute last resort.

Scam trends:
  • There is an ongoing scam issue where "lenders" are saying they'll issue loans for collateral. The "lender" then takes the collateral and disappears. Prevent this by using reputable escrow providers or only dealing with lenders you trust. Keeping in mind that proving available funds isn't necessarily connected to whether or not a lender will steal collateral and disappear, you can also ask a lender asking for collateral to show he has the funds to lend you by signing a message with his private key (most BTC clients have a GUI allowing you verify messages, though they don't all use the same scheme to do this -- if a message fails to verify, you may wish to ask the signer to tell you which client and scheme he used so you can double-check using the same set-up he has ).

Please post new repeat scam tactics here. They will be added to the list.
Thanks so much. i should have read this the first time i came to this thread. No wonder i was bombarded with neg trust despite not scammed anybody.
79  Economy / Lending / Will i ever get loan here? on: February 02, 2018, 06:08:59 PM
I came to this section few weeks ago inexperienced and uninformed asking for loan and before i know it i have earned myself some negative trust ( based on wrong assumptions) and today having gotten familiar with the way things is being run in this section i have learnt and understand better why i got the neg, but now i need to ask whether i can still get loan here WITH reliable COLLATERAL. If i offer a genuine collateral, will i be considered or does it mean my neg trust has totally erased my chance of getting loan here even if i have a collateral that is ok.
80  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is 7000 usd down on: February 02, 2018, 05:59:11 PM
What happened to Bitcoin this month?

Anyone has a really good explanation about why is so down.

They say it would go to 50,000 this year..

I think is not going at all!!!!
What happen is still normal, btc is now on downtrend and anytime from now it will start its uptrend again, nevertheless this is the best time to invest in btc.
