161  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it possible for a token creator to take back the tokens sent to someone on: October 12, 2019, 06:06:42 AM
I am having an argument with some people and they said that an Ecr20 token creator removed a token from one of their wallet and i told them that tokens that has been sent cannot be withdrawn back as long as they're the only ones with their private key but they don't believe me.

I want to send them a link to this thread with opinions of crypto experts in this forum so we can know who is right.

Depending on the ERC20 contract, I guess. Some ICO’s back then with failed operations or distribution of tokens were able to take their token back and distribute a new replacement token. I experienced it with one of the campaigns I joined.

Never forget! The 10,000 BTC for a couple of pizza.

Original post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=137.0

This is believed to be the firt BTC transaction for a real-world goodie.

Correct me if I’m wrong and feel free to add more details.

Diba nga sini-celebrate din ito taon taon as Bitcoin Pizza Day 2019.

I see. But it is still worth it to put it on the list since there will be a newbie in the page that will be delighted na malaman yung mga ganitong eksena sa kasaysayan ng BTC.

How to live comfortable in an over populated environment?

Isolate. Fix your home or try going out to the woods and explore the nature once in a while.
164  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Amazon has been rigging Searches to boost their own products on: October 10, 2019, 12:22:38 AM
WSJ has finally come out with something that all of us already knew. Amazon has been rigging their search algorithms to benefit their own products. This isn't surprising, and it's something that most (if not all of us) have already noted is happening.

Though now we know to the degree that it actually happens. So here we go. If you are to search for something along the lines of 'mens button down shirts' or 'paper towels' a large amount of the products that will be shown to you are products that are owned by Amazon through a private label brand. That's not something that is shown to you, as they are displayed alongside the likes of other brands.

All of this is happening while the EU is currently looking into this very issue, and they're seeing if there is anything wrong with a company owning a marketplace and selling products on that very marketplace . I'm assuming they're looking at this under an antitrust lens, as Amazon also controls about 37 percent of all online sales.

Here is the WSJ article as well - https://www.wsj.com/articles/amazon-changed-search-algorithm-in-ways-that-boost-its-own-products-11568645345?mod=hp_lead_pos5

This happens everywhere in most of online market platforms. They collect people’s search inputs and control the ads shown to the buyer based on the data they’ve collected.

I remember this super long ads from an Investment Speaker everytime I play a vid on YT. This happened when someone search his name on my computer.

Also on other websites, there’s a lot of suggested goods that I believe was based on my previous searches.
165  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Depression and exercise on: October 09, 2019, 11:14:48 PM
Depression has been a major topic of discussion as many young adults are snared into this health disorder.  There has been a lot of research done to explore the role of exercise and release of endorphins and excitatory neurotransmitters  that help to alleviate or reduce the inhibitory neurotransmitters which are implicatory in depression... What do you think about exercise as a treatment modality for depression?

Exercise helps us fight the stress. It is also a way to connect with the outside world and to other people. One of the stongest cure to depression is connection to other people and doing exercise can help us connect with others.

Go to the gym with someone, friends or family.

There are lots of sites where you can see crypto news. My favorites are Cointelegraph and Bloomberg. Aside from that, you can also follow the Telegram channel of your favorite cryptocurrency.

How safe and secure it is?
Has anyone already tried to do this?

Feedbacks please?
169  Local / Pamilihan / Re: [Coins.ph] List of Banks with InstaPay on: October 07, 2019, 09:42:58 AM

Kabayan, under naman ito ng coins.ph so no need na gawan ng thread. May nagpost na nyan sa coins.ph discussion thread and this thread might create another discussion, on and off topic, na puwede ng pag usapan na sa coins.ph thread.

170  Local / Pamilihan / Re: [Coins.ph] List of Banks with InstaPay on: October 07, 2019, 09:29:33 AM
Salamat sa listahan. Saan mo mo pala ito nakuha? Kinolekta mo ba lahat from coinsph app o website?

dito nakuha yan https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1558587.msg52652391#msg52652391

171  Local / Pamilihan / [Coins.ph] List of Banks with InstaPay on: October 07, 2019, 09:00:33 AM

Asia United Bank
Bangko Mabuhay (A Rural Bank), Inc.
Bank of Commerce
CTBC Bank (Philippines) Corporation
China Bank Savings
China Banking Corporation
Development Bank of the Philippines
Dungganon Bank, Inc.
EastWest Bank
Equicom Savings Bank, Inc.
G-Xchange, Inc. (Gcash)
ISLA Bank (A Thrift Bank), Inc.
Land Bank of The Philippines
Malayan Bank Savings and Mortgage Bank, Inc.
Maybank Philippines, Inc.
Metropolitan Bank and Trust Company
Omnipay, Inc.
PNB Savings Bank
Partner Rural Bank (Cotabato), Inc.
PayMaya Philippines, Inc.
Philippine Bank of Communications
Philippine Business Bank, Inc., A Savings Bank
Philippine National Bank
Philippine Trust Company
Philippine Veterans Bank
Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation
Robinsons Bank Corporation
Security Bank Corporation
Sterling Bank of Asia, Inc., A Savings Bank
Sun Savings Bank, Inc.
Union Bank of the Philippines
United Coconut Planters Bank
Wealth Development Bank Corporation

172  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Small-time tech shops accept Bitcoin as payment on: October 06, 2019, 09:49:52 PM

I’m also planning to open a bank account para sana sa future earnings ko from crypto kaso parang most sa mga naexperience niyo guys, medyo hassle yung pag-cashout. Wayback 2017-18 thru eGivecash lang ako magcacashout and Cebuana kapag around 50k.

Ituloy ko pa ba mag-open sa BPI and ano ba mas ok if gagamitin for crypto-fiat withdrawal, debit o savings?

Naka-savings account ako currently sa BPI at so far, wala namang problema akong na-encounter. 2 years na yung account ko sa kanila na regular nakakakuha ng deposit from either coins.ph or coins-gcash-BPI.

I see. Then I’ll choose BPI for now since hindi pala sila ma-question based din sa sabi ng ibang comments.

Not so soon. You can observe the movements of alts via observing BTC’s. When BTC is doing well, everything will follow. Just my POV.
175  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Heads up: $5 Wrench Attack on: October 06, 2019, 05:59:23 AM

Same effect samin ‘to. Naging masama tingin samin ng mga tao that time.

Thank you OP for the response.

I can personally ask Estates if they want to be posted/added to this thread. This way, they can expand their ad for the project and be recognized.

Since, they’ve opened na their IEO, siguro they could be more transparent na for their future plans this year.

Balita ko lang for now is nag open sila ng Sept 23 ng IEO but their exchange link was closed for a while kasi i-enhannce nila yung visibility and transparency for all.

i’ll check on them OP.

My purpose is to help them promote and also help everyone to become aware na may mga existing projects gere in the PH na may magandang adhikain and impact in the near future.
177  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Blockchain Meet Ups/Conferences/Trainings in the Philippines (incl. Fintech) on: October 05, 2019, 03:47:11 PM
Thanks for this post OP. Ask ko lang if counted ba dito yung mga roadshows and ‘Focused Group Discussions’ katulad ng ginagawa ng CEstates early this year?

By the way, CEstates is a Real Estate Platform backed by blockhain with NEM.

Would you mind checking on them and add them to the list if they qualify? I’m pretty sure na they can contribute a good impact to the cryptocurrency recognition dito sa Pinas.

Any reason naman is ok as long as you can pay.

Alright! Malaking tulong ‘to. Mabuti at napatambay ulit ako dito sa forum. Salamat sa info, sir.
180  Local / Pamilihan / Re: LENDING SECTION HERE (Funds Available - [btc]0.0475) Wanted Borrowers! on: October 04, 2019, 02:49:06 PM
Good day mga Kabayan!

For borrowers, post ninyo lang using the format (format credit to  shasan)

Loan Amount:
Loan Purpose:
Loan Repay Amount:
Loan Repay Date:
Type of Collateral:
Escrow profile Link:
Bitcoin Address:

Tapos kung sino gustong mag finance, pweding i PM yung borrower or i quote ang application post na gusto nilang i finance.

This section is strictly for Pinoy users only, bawal ang taga labas, otherwise ma defeat ang purpose natin.
