1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fiat = real money, Bitcoin = crap According to Kevin O'Leary on: June 16, 2019, 06:22:23 PM
According to Kevin O'Leary
https://youtu.be/SmjUvdJdlDM?t=406

This man is delusional.

One reason I like bitcoin more than fiat is because of distribution. (all though fair distribution though time/duration will replace bitcoin mark my words or will be traded into bitcoin)
Another reason I like bitcoin is because you can`t just create it, it is like gold you need to mine it. (you know gold that thing that used to back our money)

What are your thoughts? Is fiat money more real than bitcoin?
Well trust me bitcoin is no better than fiat when it comes to distribution things here are much worse than fiat. Most of the bitcoin are either locked as private keys are lost or holder died. The significant others are held by Satoshi himself and some of the founder members and early adopters. The people who joined in the past year or two just have a few mBTC there this can never be said an equal or even equitable distribution. But yes one thing that it can't be created like fiat is a big disadvantage as this means that in case of deflation or depression you can't just create money and get out of the situation. So bitcoin itself is delusional trust me.

3  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tips to actually start earning from Trading & END LOSES on: May 12, 2019, 01:57:31 PM
This is a great guide to start with for newbie traders I think. Most importantly the emphasize on money management makes me realize that why most of the traders lose money they think that earning in trading is something which can happen over night. What they don't realize is that it requires persistence and some great level of hardwork. Moreover consistently trading is something which most people don't do as they quickly start to thinking trading as a scam or something
It's hard not to trade on emotions but you have to remember this is a game and we have to always look forward, don't look backwards once a trade is executed. Little profit is not a bad word my friends, be contented of a the small amounts you gained. It is better  safe +10% than a wannabe +100% of no assurance, people are just greedy sometimes but can't blame them, we are human after all.
Being in greedy will never have a good result but instead, it mostly ended up into losing. Ain't that really bad if we go for emotion trading if we know our mistakes and even recognized our limits. It sometimes I used to have my instinct will play in trading and it is quite some time that it will work well.
Kinda inside voice trading. It is boring to trade with a fixed strategy and money management. Sometimes, for adding more fun to trading I increase the leverage or take margin from trade. Depending on the trade expectation, profit/loss ratio is managed by fixed rules in my personal trading journey.
We already have seen that being greedy can make us lose to catch a good chance to make a profit because we have a passion for chasing a bigger profit than what we can see.
To earning in trading, you don't have to chase more profit if it is difficult because that will be the same if you can take a small profit but you can get it in over and over, and in the end, your profit will become bigger too.
If you still use emotion in trading, then maybe you need to learn about controlling the emotion in trading because that will prevent you from making a profit in the long-term.
Yeah pretty well said emotions play a bigger role than what we see. Only Practicing emotionless trading will fetch profits
in long terms and only this is the reason that why most of the trading bots earn profit even with a algorithm fitted by humans while humans can't earn the same.

5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Can Be More Efficient Than Bank Transactions on: October 10, 2018, 11:02:36 AM
Actually, for a fact it is right that the transaction fees for overseas transfers is very minimal if we use bitcoin for these transactions. Bitcoin is even more faster for such transactions. But people still use only those traditional methods of transactions. Because they find it ore convenient. It is their prudence, that does not allow them to shift to better methods of transfer. Actually people have natural tendency to resist change and that is the main problem that is not letting full bitcoin adoption.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't start your day by checking the price of bitcoin in the morning. on: October 10, 2018, 08:38:47 AM
I've really heard many people saying that don't start your day by peeping into your phone for you may spoil your entire day because of any bad news that pops up in the early morning. But I don't go by this logic. Because sooner or later you have to face the truth. So it is better only to let things go and not let such things have a deep impact on your mind. It is only your self control that you can exercise in case you have to face the harsh realities of life. So obviously if the price drops and you know that, try to explain your mind and have a control over your mind. Instead of spoiling your entire day or whatever!!
7  Economy / Economics / Re: Malta is playing strong game on: October 09, 2018, 11:48:33 AM
Bitcoin, cryptocurrencies and blockchain have already been embraced by the government and people of Malta — which has tried to establish itself as the world's "blockchain island." Now, in an address to the United Nation's General Assembly, Malta Prime Minister Joseph Muscat has said he sees blockchain technology as the tool which will allow bitcoin and crypto to "inevitably" gain widespread, mass adoption and become the future of money. Muscat has previously said he believes bitcoin and blockchain have the ability to eliminate third party service providers, giving users more freedom over information and money. “I passionately believe technology revolutionizes and improves systems," said Muscat. "This is why in Malta, we have launched ourselves as the blockchain island.

Malta's attitude to bitcoin and blockchain has been praised by the global cryptocurrency industry, with the CEO of Binance, Changpeng Zhao, saying the company will be investing in Malta to help grow its local blockchain industry and local cryptocurrency companies.

It is really good that Malta has made such an initiave and a friendly move towards crypto acceptance and has really set an example for other places who are not welcoming the crypto change with open arms. Malta's PM obviously can now expect a flourished economy for his country and his vision is really farsighted and admirable. Muscat has led his people to such a vision and they now have realized how far they can go with this modern virtual world.

P.S.: This blockchain island of the world is doing really well!!

8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 5 Years From Now in Crypto? on: October 09, 2018, 11:44:20 AM
What would be your thoughts and prediction to what will happen in 5 years from now in Crypto?

Do you see higher values?

Do you see less projects?

Do you see a merger of many projects?

Tighter Regulation?

More acceptance?

Society in general?

5 years from now is a long time to forecast the crypto future. For the crypto market fluctuates at highly volatile rates, you never can predict the next move of the market. But in the coming future I do hope:

Do you see higher values:: Yes! I do. Actually the crypto currency market can never be stabilized and as for 5 years are concerned, i don't see an exact value for bitcoin, because future is very uncertain.

Do you see less projects:: Not really! Increasing number of people are taking interest in bitcoin market and so are the new projrcts coming up to cater the needs of these rising bitcoin population.

Do you see a merger of many projects:: Maybe or maybe not!!

Tighter Regulation:: For tighter regulation, or in fact regulation only, there need to be more acceptance for bitcoin, especially on universal scale.

More acceptance:: Just hoping for the same to happen very soon!!

Society in general:: It is for the bitcoin community to make certain efforts on their part to improve acceptance of the crypto market and also to spread awareness among all others who are not aware of this revolutionary digital era.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did we get what we asked for - less Bitcoin volatility? on: October 09, 2018, 07:42:03 AM
Volatility of bitcoin has been an interesting character trait of the bitcoin market. Crypto coins fluctuate in values at highly volatile rates and thus it leads to an unstable market. But this instability of the market prices is the reason why we are able to reap some profits out of the market.

Bitcoin fluctuates and thus rates go up and down and thus the day traders and speculators and the investors are able to fulfill their short term market objectives.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Psychological fear dominates the market on: October 08, 2018, 12:58:18 PM
Crypto community can never get enough of this psychological fear dominates the market. It is very wrong on the part of the investors to have such kind of fear of losing when in the market. When you invest, you have to keep in mind a minimal risk associatd with each n every kind of investment. The fact is crypto market is very volatile and this brings more risk factor to be associated with this market. So the newbies have to  be prepared for it. Ones those have experience investing and trading on this platform understand how it is and also don't create such kind of panic in the marketplace.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and privacy!!! on: October 08, 2018, 12:29:58 PM
If you demand this sort of privacy that you're talking about, it will be difficult to obtain in the near future also. Blockchain technology and the public ledger system are so designed that they give all the crypto users an easy access to view all the transactions and also to trace back the origin of these transactions.
bitcoin has never been fully anonymous and it has always been fine. some people seem to have a problem with that but that is oke because there are options that they can use like the real anon coins.
bitcoin or at least the on chain transactions will never change in that fact. there may be additions on side chains and second layers to improve the anonymity though.
Yes! you're right, certain improvements may be introduced in fact, but you cannot get full anonymity factor secureed with yourselves.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is anonymity the future for bitcoin??? on: October 08, 2018, 11:51:06 AM
Had anonymity to become the future of the bitcoin, then there would have been an increased number of ICO scams, use of the cryptos for dark things leading to the emergence of popularly known as DARKNET. The blockchain technology is developed in such a way that the origin of the transactions on the net can be traced back. The new and emerging technology is not going to lead to total anonymity, keeping in view the regulations prevailing in certain places that keep a control on how the things work.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi. What did he found to create something like bitcoin? on: October 08, 2018, 11:19:00 AM
Obviously he had a reason behind it or will as the OP says. He or they, however it is have bought up on a revolution, the DIGITAL REVOLUTION which has shaken the traditional economy and introduced people like us to an altogether new virtual world. It's been almost 10 years now that we have bitcoin with us and the crypto currency world has got its king. Whatever vision he had, whatever his will was, seeing the current scenario I think it is fulfilled. And it will be even more magnificent when this market and the crypto coins receives universal recognition and global acceptance as a currency.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Marketing Bitcoin - What age group should be the ideal target group? on: October 08, 2018, 08:54:21 AM
I was thinking about Bitcoin marketing and how we can fast track global adoption of Bitcoin and it suddenly came up that we are currently targeting the wrong age group for this.

The different age groups tend to react differently to marketing based on several factors, namely :

1. Older people tend to resist change.
2. Younger people are risk takers and sometimes even a bit reckless. <Because they have lots of time to recover from mistakes>
3. Older people might be more indoctrinated by fiat based theories and habits.
4. Younger people has grown up with the fast paced internet and ever changing innovation of technologies.
5. Older people might have been exposed to several "scams" during their life time and might be a bit more cautious of new things.
6. Younger people might have a bit more time to experiment with new things. <Older people have families and jobs to tend to>

I am only listing some of the factors that might influence certain age groups to react differently to exposure to Bitcoin marketing. What age group would you say, would be the ideal target market for Bitcoin marketing?
According to me, marketing bitcoin right now is very important, because there are so many people and countries which are totally unaware of the digital market. Now as you mention of the age group, I think the focus should be on the teens. But whilst doing so, all the other age groups must not be excluded totally from the race, because:

1. Older people: Though they tend to resist change, but that's because they are already convinced what they have. If you try to convince them to their maximum satisfaction, then not only they will understand it, but will make an effort to educate their younger ones.

2. Younger people: It is most beneficial to persuade the younger lot because they are the best human resources and are gonna make all the difference. If all this learning and imbibing process begins at an early stage, then they will be able to understand it better and will also make the most out of it. So the main focus should revolve around this group. In fact schools, colleges and universities shall introduce it as a subject in their curriculum for the students to learn it. Also the youth is smart and can make out new innovations. they have got this charisma in them.
15  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think their will be another Bull Run this year? I D0 NOT THINK SO! on: October 08, 2018, 08:03:31 AM
Crypto market is volatile and fluctuates every hour. So the nature of the market is such that we cannot predetermine anything in advance. Speculations for the coming year, coming 10th year anniversary of the bitcoin are in the favour of a bull rain. Although there are counter arguments prevailing to this effect, but the upsurge in the prices is for sure, be it a $15k mark or $20k! I'm anticipating a bull run in the year 2019 because of many positive things happening around and effecting the crypto market.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin be harder to access in the future? on: October 07, 2018, 02:15:22 PM
I don't think there is going to be any problem to access bitcoin now and in the future as well. Because with the advent of new coming years, there will be emergence of better technology that will improve the crypto network. Crypto network will become stronger and far better based on the new and improved blockchain network.

I believe bitcoin will be easy to access in the future, but we might not get the price as cheap as we are currently having now. When massive adoptions come into the network we may see a price that will be very high, reason it's important we keep our bitcoin safe from FUD-ers.
Yes most of the people are anticipating only!
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: More Regulations For Cryptocurrency? on: October 07, 2018, 01:09:51 PM
More regulations, not always mean a bad thing for the crypto world. Some times it is with better regulations and rules that the crypto space become a good environment. Like you see the ICO scams happening around can be deterred to a minimum level when combated with the good crypto environment in a country. It is good unless and until it does not create much intervention into the crypto matters and harm its autonomy operational working. Government probing too much in here can really prove to be detrimental for the market growth.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I will never compare cryptocurrency to our traditional/financial institution on: October 07, 2018, 12:56:54 PM
There is no sense in comparison of crypto coins with the traditional financial instituitions. Because they both are two different worlds. While crypto is new and trending, it is the most used investment option these days. Traditional finance instituitons come up with a whole different range of equity and debt instruments which are different from this virtual world that has led to emergence of decentralized economy. In fact both these different worlds have their own benefits. There's risk prevelant in each n every form of investment. So the risk factor is the common. What varies is the degree of risk.
19  Other / Meta / Re: The things we need to put in considerations on: October 07, 2018, 11:55:04 AM
Thinking about making money is not wrong in any case, I mean minting money is the basic requirement for everyone. Just look at Maslow's need hierarchy theory, in order to satisfy your basic pyschological needs also, you need to have money. So, what's wrong! But the beauty of this forum lies in the fact how the community members deliberate, debate and discuss various progressive topics, and not just linger on same old threads. And as far as criticism by the hero members is concerned I don't think it is wrong, because in a way criticism also teaches you a lot. And it is not only for the ranked members, everybody on the forum has got the right to share their vies, criticize the others, feel free to say anything. Ranking and merit is obviously for the sake of geeting signature campaigns.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ~BTC in Medical Industry on: October 04, 2018, 02:13:11 PM
Why not??

It is just a matter of time. Once bitcoin receives global recognition, then it will be accepted everywhere as a common medium of exchange. Bitcoin transaction fees will also become low with the emergence of better lightning network.

PS: Medical industry is no exception when bitcoin is legalized everywhere!
