583  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin CASH will take over BTC ? on: November 13, 2017, 06:43:46 PM
Do you see a pump and dump happening in BCH right now? or is it really taking over Bitcoin? How do you think will it affect other coins when BCH successfully replaced BTC as the top cryptocurrency
I dont know why are people saying that bch will take over btc cant you people clearly see that bch is still 5 times behind bitcoin.

BitCoin cash is not going to take over bitcoin. This is just a temporary pump and big money is exiting bcc imo. After this dip of bitcoin it will come out even stronger than before.
I dont even agree with your point. As of my experience in crypto market everything is certainly possible I wont say its possible at this time but you surely might see a dip in use of btc if these conditions continue to exist.
584  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think bitcoin ever be safe for any investment ? on: November 13, 2017, 06:34:41 PM
At present situation government actually not so much concern about such kind of currency for that  reason people are not so much interested for using this currency. it is now use as a electronic currency though computerized system.
in terms of purchase and sales bit coin holder's are safe but the  lack of proper monitoring system by implementing different protocols client are demotivated for using this currency on investment projects.Every country's government should established a policy for securing those client who are holder of bitcoin like an cash or deposit account holders and this types of policy help to motivated bitcoin holders for investing different sector for establishing new entrepreneur in order to development of economical condition.
Around two months ago I was quite confident that there cant be any better place to invest your idle money than to invest them in btc. But a series of events which have occured in past two months have questioned very existence of btc as an investment too. Its too volatile moreover the govt. Intervention always give prices steady shocks. As far as for long term investment I am still sure that there is no better option than bitcoins.
585  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Losing faith in BTC... on: November 13, 2017, 06:31:27 PM
Not only you I think everyone attached to bitcoin community had some similar dillema. But I thinks its a bit too early to decide the consequences and decalre bch as the king. Its just been 4 days since this has started this might just be bitcoin price correction and not exactly dump.

BTC has made it all the way until now a long journey of 9 years we need to give it some time. But yes as its always said its the survival of the fittest so if btc fails on expectations of people they will surely shift to bch.
586  Local / India / Re: Indian bitcoin exchange Unocoin increases BTC transaction fee on: November 13, 2017, 02:54:20 PM
Well unocoin was among the wallets already charging a hefty transaction fees and here we face another sudden increase in fees. In INR that would mean hefty ₹400-450 per transaction even if the transaction is of ₹1000. Its really silly to use this wallet anymore.
587  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a mode of payment on: November 13, 2017, 02:50:30 PM
Just wondering, who is accumulating Bitcoin via using it as a method of being paid, so instead of being paid in dollars or any other amount you ask client to pay you via Bitcoin especially merchants and freelancers. I think it is cool to be paid via Bitcoin because it appreciates so its like you can earn twice if you sell high.

This requires a mass adoption of bitcoin at all levels in the world and if this happens you wont actually be earning three times because everyone is accepting btc everywhere who will take those silly fiats from you?
588  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are You Stupid? You Pay $20 to send Core BTC coin on: November 13, 2017, 02:47:00 PM
Why suddenly a newbie account is giving suggestions for not using bitcoin? I believe this account holder is being paid by those rich criminals who are trying to promote BCH and discouraging people from using bitcoin. The problem is with the miners and not with the common investors. Amidst the criminal attack on bitcoin network, bitcoin price is recovering. That shows how powerless your team infront of the global sentiment for bitcoins. Ignoring you from the core of my heart.
I am not a noob here nor do I belong to any criminal group but it would be more modest to say that everyone wants some swiftness in their transactions along with just a light cut. Btc has never been a problem when you are sending large transactions. But sending amounts upto like $40-50 has been a trouble since past few months. Dont if its miners or who but this is affecting the whole community people came to fiat because they liked the idea of bitcoin and they will move to any other if btc potrays signs that it is not a good currency for mass adoption.

590  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: 173000 unconfirmed transactions, 13 transactions per second on: November 12, 2017, 04:47:22 PM
This really generates some queries upon survival of bitcoin because if it cannot cater a large amount of people on the network no one is really going to use it. Two of my transactions are unconfirmed for last 2 days. The fact that I have attached a fees of around 170 sats/byte makes it worse. Dont quite know what is happening.
591  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC VS All other cryptocurrencies. on: November 12, 2017, 04:42:47 PM
Can't say its sort of possible in today's date because vanishing all crypto would mean that we are back from where we started in blockchain. Altcoins(atleast some of them) have brought quite new innovative solutions in blochain technology which is a reason why people have some increased confidence over cryptos so cant say bitcoin would survive quite well without cryptos.
592  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: "BITCOIN CASH IS BITCOIN NOW." on: November 12, 2017, 02:11:04 PM
Its too early to say this. Yes BCH has some tremendous platform improvements and its value has gained some momentum after the cancellation of fork but we have most of the core miners still attached to bitcoin can't say that bch will become the new bitcoin anytime soon.
593  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 134k unconfirmed transactions now. I'm starting to get really worried about this on: November 12, 2017, 02:09:00 PM
Dont quite know whats happening around you see bitcoin flashing around $6000 again and with this lot of unconfirmed transactions. Moreover BCH emerging as a very big competitor. I really cant understand what is happening to bitcoin. Are these some after effects of abandoning segwit2x?
594  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] VLB - The Ultimate Blockchain Fuel for the Vehicle Lifecycle Industry on: November 11, 2017, 07:37:33 PM
With every sphere of this world stepping into blockchain vehicles were the most awaited thing to be brought on blockchain. Unique platform for details regarding all the cars would mean enhanced safety levels. Moreover every detail of each part of your part can be adequately monitored. Great projected excited to see the results.
595  Other / Off-topic / Re: can animals mine bitcoin? on: November 11, 2017, 07:30:38 PM
I think you've got the wrong idea about mining farms.

The best reply ever to such a query Cheesy I think he even has a possible confusion regarding "Ant"miners too.
596  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are miners abandoning BTC? on: November 11, 2017, 07:24:00 PM
The number of unconfirmed transactions on the BTC network is increasing rapidly. It is now 115,000 and rising - I have never seen it that high. Are miners switching to BCC/H due to the huge price increase of the last 48hrs and the cancellation of Segwit2X ?

There is a problem with transactions confirmations and this could be even looked as a kind of miners protest, at least part of them. Cancellation of fork also plays a role but still I don't think miners will abandon Bitcoin or that Bitcoin cash or Bitcoin gold will take the place of Bitcoin. It just takes time for all this mess to settle down and that everything goes back to track.
Yes my two transactions containing fees of more than 150 sats/byte took 2 long days to process. Seems like miners are surely protesting against. But weren't miners against the segwit fork? If it has been cancelled isnt it a sort of good news for them?
597  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HODL BTC!!! on: November 11, 2017, 07:19:55 PM

We are going to break your backs, you filthy PIGS!!!! BCH will die!!! A slow death!!! The culprit is the KOREAN outfit of BITHUMB who is pumping bch right now and trying to get everyone to follow.....THEY WILL RUN OUT OF STEAM!!!

right man
BCH  will slowly rot.....Just Hodl!!!
I dont know why some people adopt a conservative approach towards every thing. We moved on from fiat to btc because we thought it as a better option than btc and now people will move to other forks or coins if btc does not remains effective. There is nothing like rotting in hell. But yes btc is still not dead just a correction.
598  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the future crypto ? BTC or BTC on: November 11, 2017, 07:17:20 PM
What crypto are you buying and holding, believing that it will be the one used in the future ?

If you hold several, those who feel comfortable to do so, tell us what %% you have diversified to each, comment below.
Considering the rising miners fees and transaction times I highly doubt that bitcoin would ever be able to make it to future. People are shifting to bitcoin cash. Moreover after the cancellation of segwit2x bch has gained even more momentum.
599  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin an asset or a currency? on: November 10, 2017, 04:54:46 PM

Seems many people treat bitcoin like an asset given how much it's gone up over the last year or so. But some academics disagree with that assessment. If it is to be treated as a currency, it will need to stabilize to be of use.

https://www.cnbc.com/2017/10/24/nyus-dean-of-valuation-says-bitcoin-is-a-currency.html
It was inaugrated and found to be a currency but I think its tremendously increasing value along with high fees has made it a mere asset.
600  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: B2X fork back on? on: November 10, 2017, 05:10:31 AM
Yes I think its quite shady many people are saying that fork is going to happen. Not quite sure that all those tweets which we saw that day were true or just rumours. Lets see what happens when the block comes.
