According to a study conducted by researchers at Imperial College London, cryptocurrency has the potential to become a form of payment that is widely used for decades to come. In their research report entitled "Cryptocurrency: Overcoming Barriers to Trust and Adoption" Professor Imperial College London, William Knottenbelt, and Imperial College Business School Dr. Zeynup Gurguc, argue that cryptocurrency has so far acted as a store of value like a fiat currency.
I don’t think so cryptocurrencies can ever become mainstream currency. It can never replace fiat currency. Yes, some people can use it for making payments but it would not eliminate fiat. I know cryptocurrencies have a lot of potential but there still many loopholes and unexploited flaws that prevent it from becoming mainstream currency. Cryptocurrencies will survive along with fiat in the long-term.

Only those with specialized, high power machinery are able to profitably extract Bitcoins nowadays. While mining is still technically possible for anyone, those with underpowered setups will find more money is spent on electricity than is generated through mining. In other words, mining won’t be profitable at a small scale unless you have access to free or really cheap electricity.

There are many differences between Bitcoin and Ethereum. 1. Bitcoin creates 12.5 new Bitcoins every 10 mins and Ethereum creates 3 new ethers every 15 seconds. 2. Bitcoin is limited to 21 million Bitcoins, of which 16.7m have been created so far. Ethereum has no hard cap currently, but there are plans to reduce or stop issuance in a year or two. 3. Bitcoin creates new block every 10 minutes and Ethereum creates new block in 15 seconds. 4. Ethereum assigns a cost, known as gas, to every operation or use of storage on the blockchain. Bitcoin transaction costs are based simply on their size. 5. Ethereum smart contract code lives at its own address on the blockchain as opposed to being within a transaction as in the case of Bitcoin.

Highly irresponsible attitude from both the Official team as well as the OP. Thanks Pharmacist for negging the official team. If you don't have the status of paying in bitcoin then make sure you don't lure people with false campaigns. I think the manager too deserves to be negged as he is unable to pay people what he promised for. Scamming people even on the name of escrow. Lol, the fact that the campaign manager thinks that forcing people to accept their tokens instead of the BTC as promised is laughable. Also, the fact that BitPlay thinks they can simply decide not to pay the BTC they promised the participants, and instead offer their worthless Monopoly money is pathetic. This will be a stain on the company's reputation, and I'm hoping people here don't make it easy to cover up. The truth is this, sieemma offered BTC for participants in the signature campaign to complete certain tasks, many of these people completed the tasks. Now, around 100 people have been adversely affected by this u-turn. You might have gotten a bad conversion rate, that sucks for you. But you got what you requested, a signature campaign. Sieemma you need to open a scam accusation, it doesn't matter if they pay in their useless token, you can't just offer gold, and then pay in dirt. Everyone else who has been adversely affected, please inform the DT members, and let's see what they think about this practice. It is my opinion that the official bitplay account should take some negs;https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1797092Also, OP might also deserve some negs if he continues to avoid posting the scam accusation, as he is complicit in this scam. Completely agree with you they are now paying shittoken which are worthless because their ICO is shit. No one is going to invest their money in this ICO.

OP why is that the funds are escrowed by Bitplay itself. Shouldn't it be escrowed by a neutral third party? Or am I missing something here?
youve got a point there ,why is it the escrow is the Dev itself?and since that theres a fund for payments why not distribute it weekly?why need to wait for the end of campaign?it seems like theres something going to happen if the project dont succeed, correct me if im wrong..maybe the dev has to make good explanations about this .. Ps..this is for transparency only and im not pointing bad about the project We have gotten in touch with the most trusted escrow agent on here "Lauda" before hand and she is in the process of reviewing the project before she offers us escrow service. Fund's would be escrowed as soon as she signals a go. Thank you. As far as i remember,i onced questioned this campaign for transparency and the dev has mentioned the great DT "Lauda "is in the process of reviewing to be an escrow but after a week still theres no Clarification about the said issue.. Now what you guys need to do is Ask DT Lauda about this, because if this aint true a Name dropping is happening here... Again PS.this is for both parties transparency..because theres some questioned that must be answered, thanks guys I have confirmed from Lauda. She said that Bitplay dev did sent her a message but never replied back. I think there is still 2 weeks left. Maybe they will escrow later. But if not, then I think these bounty participants deserve to be scammed. We both warned, but the participants were too careless. Well if thats the case,i think participants must be aware of some negative posibilities..as we all know scammers nowadays are too good that you cant even think the can do bad to others..im not saying that this already a scam ,but atleast dev must give some heads up here..and clarify whats needed to be addressed.. Again i will delete this messages once thingsre cleared here Now no reply from the manager makes it looks much more shady. Obviously waiting for some reply is better than to just start away with another week.

Hey Siemma, I don't know if it is something we should doubt about or not but all the funds that were said to be escrowed have been moved from the escrow address to some different addresses. Please look into the issue.

RBI haven't ban cryptocurrency as of now. They have just said that it will be scrapped out of the banking channels as banks will not provide any kind of support to any cryptocurrency exchange with respect to deposits or withdrawals. But yes this might not be a direct ban but can be said a move of the government towards complete ban of cryptos over the country. But I still feel this is a pretty wrong move as this won't really stop any kind of money laundering.

Its because people have grown smarter they have begin to realize that just holding out in every dip isn't always a smart choice. Instead you must be efficient enough to sell when the price is upwards and buy back when the price goes into a dip. This way you will not only be able to save your money but will also be able to earn something out of the market. Just holding and seeing your money going down isnt a wise choice. Moreover in no way is this connected with popularity of bitcoin.

Yeah you should feel depressed about this because you went on to hodl everything I think its smart to support bitcoin and hold it but stupidly holding it over every dip is something stupid ofcourse you must know when to sell and when to buy buck again. HODL is a good thing only until everyone in this world is ready for it. Moreover if you really plan to hodl then just ignore the daily or even monthly prices to and reckon your prosperity in longer term. I would suggest you to take care of these things or else you will always be depressed of holding.

Bitcoin was developed by a group of unknown people under the name of Satoshi Nakamoto. Actually they brought the Bitcoin’s original reference in implementation as open-source software in 2009. But it is still unknown who that person was, where he is, whether he is alive or not, etc, as he left the team of developers in the year 2010. There are some apprehensions as to it that he is Japanese However according to his posting time on the forum he looks someone from the west. Its still a biggest mystery and I think we will now never find out the original creators name.

Bitcoin currently dominates 33% of the total market cap of crypto market, which is huge! It is very unlikely that another cryptocurrency could achieve such dominance. But a forceful answer could be Ethereum. In order to unseat the Bitcoin, the cryptocurrency should have highest adoption rate, have the largest ecosystem, most developers, followers, contributors, users etc. Ethereum is the currency which have such advantages after Bitcoin. The smart contract over ethereum has provided solution to most of the crypto currency businesses who wanted to crowdfund their idea.

MS Dhoni, take a bow! What a phenomenal knock played by this Veteran after having severe pain in the lower back. I had no clue that CSK would come this close to KXIP. It was amazing to see Gayle get off to a flying start and bringing a Gayle Storm to Mohali.
Another unexpected loss for CSK, before the match i thought they will be winning the match because of the team they have and Dhoni played a great entertaining innings and they would have pulled this match too if they had a couple of balls, the fact is Sharma bowled well as he had three dot balls in the final over that changed the match. Sanju Samson was the star in that match as he really blasted the RCB ballers as he hit 10 sixes in 92 not out innings and due to which was awarded the man of the match. Kohli made the half century was not enough to chase that score.
It was another surprising defeat even with a very strong team, Samson played a great innings and he should get some exposure in the national team if he could maintain the consistency. Samson is a very good batsman, but right now there is no spare place for him in the national team. In order to be considered for the senior XI, he needs to perform more consistently. The same goes for other young batsmen out there, such as Karun Nair and Lokesh Rahul. Playing in IPL is different condition then playing in International cricket because IPL is played in Indian grounds and all are familiar with it but when you play with International teams in other country that is the time it is tested their playing performance. Sanju Samson and more players also got chances to play for India against International team but they were not able to perform well. I think there hasn't been any wicketkeeper batsman coming up from India just because of the dominance which MSD carries with him. We do have many options for a wicketkeeper but never needed one. Coming to today's match KKR has a great chance of winning today. DD do have recovered with their form with Gautam Gambhir and Rishabh Pant coming back in form but I still feel KKR have a better lineup to show off their skills. So my bid for the day is on KKR for sure. But will cut loss soon if I feel any profit coming in.

Malta Island ofcourse. Not just because of it vivid beauty but due to the fact that it is ready to become the world's largest blockchain hub in coming years. It is desperately inviting crypto currency investors as well as developers to its island and want to create a huge service industry with them. Cryptos there are legal tender and well accepted by everyone too. Obviously Japan and Germany are few other options when it comes to going into crypto currency business.

Absolutely yes, investing in Bitcoin is not at all easy. As a beginner you have to understand everything that what the technology is, how it works, how process goes on, etc. then, you have to find and register on any cryptocurrency exchange and then search for the best wallet to keep your money safe. Then decide whether you want to trade or hold it for long term. Doing all of this involves lot of risks as you have to chose everything yourself like exchange, wallet and investment type.

Cross border activity is shit it will just appreciate petroleum and gold prices but Yes, it is a good price for anyone to buy Bitcoin at. Bitcoin has been low in its price for quite some time so it will be profitable to buy Bitcoin as the prices can rise after some time. The actual worth of Bitcoin is much more than its current price. So if you are interested in buying Bitcoin, then this is probably the best time to buy it. Even the chart shows that this is the very last time that bitcoin is giving people a chance to fill their bags. But obvious disclaimer is that don't trust the markets everytime just one big whale can crash everything.

It’s quite tough to recover losses and in your case especially that you want to first sell your investments at loss and then recover it, it becomes more difficult. It is always advisable to never sell anything at loss because you will get a very little amount as compared to what you invested. With this amount it becomes almost impossible to recover anything. So holding on to your investments is always recommended to recover your losses. But if you are a trading expert then you must be always willing to sell at your stop loss because that is the only way you will have some free funds to invest later on.

I trade for money only. I guess many people trade for money because everyone wants to fulfill their dreams and wishes which is possible with money only. Very few people would be there who trade for emotional satisfaction; probably the ones who have a lot of idle wealth. But I think a volatile market such as crypto market should not be used for emotional satisfaction because you may experience many losses which can be hard on your emotions. I have myself learnt just one lesson and that is don't fall in any emotions with your asset. Go where you find profit and drawback after you have taken profit. Best time to exit any trade is when you are most happy that you entered into that trade.
