I actually prefer Bittrex to Poloniex, but I tend to buy and hold for a few months and don't day trade. I like the great selection of altcoins Bittrex offers, and prefer it's interface.

I just noticed that the price of sia coin is going up and up. any news I've missed ? speculation or just short term manipulation ? hope $SC is the next huge volume on poloniex
Yeah i didnt see any news regarding sia. Why with ghe price going up? Pump n dump? Because Sia is growing and folks are starting to realize that it may become the next big thing in storage. |

Since Antshares is NOT PoW or PoS, all you have to do to earn Antcoins is to keep ANS in an address you control, no need to have a wallet running. After a number of blocks has passed, you can claim Antcoins entitled to you via wallet. You're just giving away Antcoins if you keep Antshares in exchanges. So far I earned 5% worth of Antcoins since the beginning if they are equal in value with Antshares. Antcoins are the real profit maker if you truly understand how Antshares work. 72+ Bitcoin volume with nice floor of 19k satoshi on Bittrex looks very good. i was doing trading with this quite few months ago. I have all my coins there so no more issues. It was at start when I used window wallet and then immediately moved all fund there. It looks the project is also on list of big whales to play with it.
Volume in comes from China. The rise was to be expected. Antshares really fell behind on the other big projects. I picked some more up this AM, it is taking off it appears. |

Ok, the better Bitcoin is born. 50 Billion Marketcap here we come. Well when the world sees that Decred has it's act together with it's brilliant governance model. It may take notice and take it to that market cap, but when is the question. Bitcoin governance is such a mess, it seems to me it is big time stalling. Had bitcoin passed activated segwit or even BU I suspect it would be at a much higher price. The bitcoin miners are happy taking large transaction fees. This is a ripe situation for Decred to surge ahead. |

Poloniex still not working, WTF is wrong with this guys, they make millions from their service, why they don't have working wallets aaaaaaaaaaa, frustrated.
I am sure the code behind the scenes to keep these exchange running with all the different types of wallets is quite complex. Have you ever had to develop software to run in a 24/7/365 environment? It is hard and developers come and go in this tough environment. |

poloniex disabled withdrawal + deposit of Factom, and also 3 weeks ago I have withdrawed xx Factoms..status in poloniex Finished...but in factom explorer transaction ID not found ... I have contacted with them few times, still did not received my xx Factoms withdrawals..so it seems they just stolen my factom  really nice, so its scary to withdraw factom from them even if it will be possible in the future..if situations like that happen. I thought they were waiting for a factom release. I hope that is all as I have some Factom on Polo as well. Can you at least sell the FCT you have for BTC? |

No, you need to buy tickets with your coins, thus locking them up until they vote, and you get a decred reward, or they expire. |

So should an investor keep their ANS on an exchange so they will be more liquid? If I brought them in to a wallet as ANC would I be able to easily convert them to ANS? It seems difficult to sell ANC directly.
ANS and ANC are two different cryptocurrencies, you don't convert ANC to ANS (or vice-versa). Think of ANC as a dividend given to you if you hold ANS. If you keep your ANS in an exchange you'll be missing on ANC, because you won't be able to claim them. Thanks, can you point me to a source that explains this? Also if I move my ANS to a local wallet and get the ANC, can I later move some or all of the ANS back to an exchange? |
