461  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO and ICO and another ICO on: June 16, 2017, 12:43:13 PM
all selling dreams and talk.... very few have any actually working code.

mostly insta icos sold out to insider whales then to be pumped on exchanges...

best to find projects with a working product already

many will come to nothing and most who dont dump out soon enough will end up losing.

making a white paper that almost no people could understand then you'll get tons of money, more profitable than being a drug dealer Cry

So many people are sold on lingo alone. Mention internet of things and bam everyone wants a slice. People missed out on Eth and Btc and think that by buying into an ico will make them rich.

I remember reading about one guy who bought into every ICO that came about. If you think of it like buying a lottery ticket instead of an investement I guess that's ok. Most lottery tickets are losers and so are most ICO's. Except for the whales who dump them for 3-4x when they list on the exchanges and instantly multiply their wealth
462  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which alt coin will gain most value in 2017? on: June 16, 2017, 12:33:55 PM
Dollar wise it will be Ethereum but percentage wise it will be a small value coin that can rise exponentially.

I really like Bitbay and Bitshares, both have tremendous upside potential for the year. But since Bitbay is cheaper I believe that it will win
463  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY] [ICO] EncryptoTel: Secure VoIP blockchain communications infrastructure on: June 16, 2017, 12:05:34 PM
ETT is holding a good price so far. Excited for the distribution to see how my first campaign has paid off.

I really have high hopes for ETT to do well. This will be a real world company with real profits. I just hope that enough tokens are burned for us all to make some serious change
464  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt coins worth buying on: June 15, 2017, 08:27:50 PM
If you want a long term investment go for eth. If i want a day trade i choose those coins who have a big volume and price is cheap

I agree the ETH is one of the best coin to invest.

I think there are better deals then ETH but that being said if the price collapses I'm jumping in.

Are you jumping in ? Last chance to get on the train before it goes back to 400$ It has already recovered much of the loses from earlier today
465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES. Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform. on: June 15, 2017, 08:17:03 PM
So I just did a quick check of what my free tokens from leasing and holding on the waveslite client are worth.

Enough to take the wife out for a very nice dinner !

But I am not selling and she's not going out for dinner. Sending my fiat in to the exchange to buy mooore at these discounted prices
466  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you believe in god? on: June 15, 2017, 07:32:23 PM
I believe in God because there are so many things that happen on earth that are beyond human and scientific explanation. I had experience His presence personally.
Yes i agree with that.

There are many things that can not be solved and beyond human logic.

That is my reason why believe in god.
Maybe that's why we are 3000 years behind in tech ^

How does that work ?  well i don't know god made it ..
So are you not going to find out how it works Roll Eyes ..NO because god made it so no need Cheesy

To be honest i use the word god as the meaning as FUCK ..OH GOD means OH FUCK..
And that's the only reason why i use the word god in my words..

OH GOD WHAT HAVE YOU DONE..

Oh fucks what have you done same same..

SO GOD IS FUCK Cheesy Cheesy..

Another angry atheist.
Why are atheists so angry ? Why don't they have peace ?
I don't get angry and try to insult and offend people who believe Elvis is still alive or that aliens exist.

My ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts are higher than your thoughts.
Just remember that every knee will bow and every tongue confess

Any particular reason that this is in the gambling section other than you have no chance of getting your money back out of this scam ? Deleting posts that question your legitimacy only causes further concern
468  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you believe in god? on: June 14, 2017, 10:30:30 PM
I don't believe in god actually Cheesy
If you do not believe in god
Who created a living thing.
If you do not believe god who created you ??

How did life come from non-life ?
How did morality arise ?

Everyone knows God, he has revealed himself to everyone
Some just suppress the knowledge
469  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: June 12, 2017, 03:06:01 PM
what would be the price of ETH at the end of the year? and in 2-3 years?

is it healthy for the coin to grow that fast?

The faster the rise the faster the fall. I am thinking that there is going to be a huge correction in the range of 30%. I love to watch the price goes past the moon and onto mars but it isn't healthy at all. Especially considering the number of Eth in circulation
470  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥[ICO]EncryptoTel: Secure VoIP and B2B blockchain communications infrastructure on: June 12, 2017, 03:01:52 PM
I have received my distribution and my tokens for the signature campaign. Just waiting on the Incent payment and I am good to go. The buy wall is already up on the dex and things are looking bright.

Can't wait to see how quickly the project progresses now with the extra funding
471  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BitShares 2.0 on: June 12, 2017, 02:57:27 PM
With the growth of Waves platform and the problems with poloniex bitshares has a lot of room for growth. We all need to start using the dex more, with increased volume we will get increased publicity. My personal price target for BTS is $2 by the end of the year
472  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES. Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform. on: June 12, 2017, 02:54:43 PM
Why is this taking too long to spike up to $10?
It quickly go up to $7 days ago and was stuck at $6 again, I guess the number of people wanting to dump waves for profit are still millions unlike ETH that most are now hoarding.

Steady organic growth is superior to big spikes and volatility. Look at the chart for monero, steady as she goes. There are good buying dips but it is always on a nice steady rise.
473  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DASH] Dash (dash.org) | First Self-Funding Self-Governing Crypto Currency on: June 12, 2017, 02:51:42 PM
guys! what are the basis of this crazy 30% growth? if there's no news, is it just someone's pumping like crazy?

Are you retarded or what? What do you mean someone pumping like crazy its been years dash doesnt move and its dead shit while too many developments in the background so what you were expecting to get stuck like shit for forever rollin on 0.05? 0.064 looks crazy rise to you? What about next stop 0.1? This is crypto get over it rita ora

Dash was like suppressed for so long.  All new coins just come up and gain a massive market cap. In contrast, DASH with several years of active professional development, ever increasing community, various projects and businesses running through, hue surge in adaption and yet with a price of 0.05BTC/DASH.  At a current price DASH is severely undervalued alone on the current adaption/technology perspective, and the evolution part is not even accounted for!

I agree, Dash has been in a holding pattern for a long time. Remember when dash was reaching .1 Btc ? Now with the current price and the money available fro development Evolution is going to be better and happen faster. It was proposed to be finished this year, so I fully expect Dash to reach the $300 level by the end of the year

So hopefully by the end of the year ICN will have utility

Making me money is good enough utility for me.

Exactly!

Which brings up the problem that was mentioned in reddit. It was worded so beautifully I will just quote it here
Quote
For instance, say one such utility is subscribing to one of the many Digital Asset Arrays (DAA) offered on the Digital Asset Management Platform (DAMP). In order to subscribe or invest in one of these DAAs you must pay an entrance fee set by each individual DAA manager. If ICN goes way up in price and the fee to join a DAA is impacting the number of users willing to join: the manager will lower the number of ICN needed to participate. Brokemax

Quote
That would make sense. However, if we think about this. If the price rises for the ICN token, the in-platform utility has also increased by the same amount. So then they would then lower the amount of ICN token to use the utility. The token price therefore becomes irrelevant because youd simply need less ICN as prices rise.Deanjks
475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES. Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform. on: June 06, 2017, 09:31:25 PM
I would like to see a list of all the legit tokens and what their use is. Is there one anywhere to look at ? There are several tokens in my wallet that have marks designating legitamacy like Ergo First year token

And from leasing received a Waves classic token that doesn't have a check.

Also Encryptotel mentioned in due course it should be marked as ‘approved’ in the Waves client, with a green tick by it.
Which brings up the matter of multiple tokens that can be created with the same name. This sounds like a potential problem
476  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥[ICO]EncryptoTel: Secure VoIP and B2B blockchain communications infrastructure on: June 06, 2017, 07:10:01 PM
Are there any pros or cons to consider when deciding which address to withdraw to ? Other than the obvious fact that if you withdraw to waves it can be traded on the dex ?
477  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Digital Assets Management Platform on: June 06, 2017, 07:06:04 PM

ICN will be required for DAA managers to make specific actions. More information will be presented in coming months
Still short on details

Quote
How far a long is the development of the Digital Assets Array for individual managers?
Quote
we think that the first beta managers will be able to create simulations of their DAA structures before the end of the summer. The platform has been designed from the ground up with multiple Digital Asset Arrays in mind. The full platform launch in 2017 remains very much our plan.

So hopefully by the end of the year ICN will have utility

Unloading a few hundred more today. Snap em up fanboys
478  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs on: June 05, 2017, 02:44:02 PM
If you look at Dash and their model of the masternodes voting on what to fund each month you can learn how to increase use and utility. Dash has a YouTube channel describing everything about development and   progress etc. Their aggressive advertising has helped them brand their coin. They have paid outside companies to incorporate dash in their websites. Enabling fiat to dash.

Nem is a great platform but it could use some good advertising and videos explaining the utility. This should be done quickly because new platforms are evolving quickly. Dan Larimer has a new project called EOS that seems very similar to Nem.
479  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BitBay OFFICIAL BITBAY Thread Smart Contracts Decentralized Markets Rolling Peg on: June 04, 2017, 11:04:18 AM
Interesting project. Would be nice to have a community channel to chat

Would be great to have a thread with some chat

we chat 500 times a day on slack. click the link to join in . . .

http://bitbay.market/wp-login.php?action=slack-invitation

I hear you but although I know slack is vital I do believe that this board is critical for appearing active.

Glad to hear though that slack is growing fast for bay. I hear there are hundreds of people on it.

I like the hint from munti that the api is coming too.

All good stuff.

Crypto I agree with your comment regarding this board and slack. (also remember reading your similar comment months ago regarding the same thing) I only found out about Bay because of this thread. It is also much easier to learn and follow a project on here vs slack. The search function is not the best on slack either to find answers to questions. If a board is inactive I usually assume that it's either dead or has no following.

I admit that I fell over laughing at the BitShares guy; really, you want to compare Waves to BitShares?  He might be right that BitShares has had more time, but look at where Waves already is with less time.  Waves is an interesting crowdfunding platform and it will be fun to watch how it evolves in time.

Also, once glance at the history of bitUSD and bitGold and their "pegged assets" are absolute joke.  Kind of like Steem Dollars; can't seem to actually be $1!

Waves is now featured on what cryptocurrencies pay a dividend.

And yet they they always return to $1 or w/e in trust-less manner because it's based on smart contract, unlike typical centralized assets like tether on centralized exchanges like waves. There's zero technical reasons to ever use waves over bitshares for any reason in any context. The only reason it's going up is pump team is good, no way to short it on bittrex, and instead of focusing on tech you focus on putting ads everywhere.

I never used Bitshares because it's too complicated, and too slow. I tried, and left.
No doubt that the dev team did a great work over the past years.
But Bitshares won't reach the average joe. Waves has more chance to do it because it's just easy and fast for anyone.

Sorry to say that guys, but Bitshares was a prototype, Waves is the new precursor.

To be fair, Bitshares 2.0 is fast, very fast. I recently made an account there but had to watch a few Youtube videos to get started. It is very complicated. But there is a faucet to pay the fees for a newly created account

The referral program and layout are confusing. It has too much. The website doesn't fit my laptop screen and many times the page froze on me. Both openledger and bitshares. It's a shame that Dan left the project before seeing it take off.
